Regulation of DC hub dynamo
Navrátil, Petr ; Knobloch, Jan (referee) ; Huták, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is the theoretical preparation, design and implementation of a DC converter for a bicycle charge dynamo with compensation for its large inductance. The designed converter will be able to use the maximal power of the dynamo.
Models of DC transistor converters in Simulink program
Loup, Martin ; Pazdera, Ivo (referee) ; Huták, Petr (advisor)
The master’s thesis is focused on the creation of models of DC/DC converters and control program for input parameters and their configuration. The first part is theoretical and she is dedicated to the description of the program Matlab. The second chapter is dedicated to DC/DC converters. Their function is described there and the necessary equations for the design are derived. All of this is complemented by the calculation of line losses in semiconductor elements and the design of voltage and current regulator. The last two parts deal with the description of the created models in Simulink and control program in a graphical environment. The created program is able to edit and recalculate parameters of the converters, calculate line losses on semiconductor components, perform a model simulation or open it.
Worpllace for dynamic testring of solar cells.
Hanák, Kamil ; Hégr, Ondřej (referee) ; Boušek, Jaroslav (advisor)
This work deals with method for characterization of photovoltaic solar cells based on evaluation of solar cell response to fast transients. The voltage of the cell in both forward and reverse polarisation was controlled by current pulse exciting. Real reverse breakdown voltage and exact value of serial resistance of the cell can be obtained easily by evaluation of the transient curves recorded by digital osciloscope. By negotiation of the time constants of the cell response to excitation in forward polarisation the lifetime of minority carriers in semiconductor bulk can be estimated.
Accumulator Charger for Bicycle
Kufa, Jan ; Kubíček, Michal (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to suggest a suitable way of charging mobile devices by using bicycle. In the first part of bachelor thesis there are discussed various options for charging the battery on a bicycle, described differences between the alternator and dynamo, and finally the different types of batteries. The second part describes in detail used blocks that were used in the engagement and the reasons of their choice. In the last section there are described the final parameters of the charger.
DC-DC converter for matrix beam module
Sikora, Roman ; Dobesch,, Aleš (referee) ; Hudcová, Lucie (advisor)
The master thesis deals with the development of buck-boost DC-DC converter which supplies matrix beam module. The design is focused on testing two-phase boost converter and three channel buck converter manufactured by NXP Semiconductors. Part of the design is implementation of microcontroller for converter control and communication with computer. Part of the thesis is also to design user interface on Windows platform for easy system configuration. Next thing the thesis deals with is designing load for DC-DC converter that is variable and can make different current consumption. One part of this thesis is focused to achieve the lowest conducted emissions and to maximize conducted immunity. Part of this project is production of a prototype and prototype testing.
Inteligent battery charger controled by microcontroler
Burda, Petr ; Magát, Martin (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
Universal, smart battery charger NI-Cd, NI-MH, Li-Ion a Li-Pol batteries with adjustable voltage incremental rotary position sensor in the range of 0 -25 V and currnet up to 1 A load. The charger is controlled by microcontroller ATMEGA32 – 16PU Atmel and provides thermal protection and management of the chrging voltage depending on the temperature inside the battery pack or battery cells. Setting is made througth LCD screen to be displayed in addition to the set temperature, charging voltage and battery current. To save the profile is used EEPROM memory, which is contained in the microcontroller.
Control of power LED, using ATtiny
Sedláček, Michal ; Pust, Radim (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with designing DC/DC steep-down converter, intended to supply power LED from a lithium-ion batteries. Work on the preface introduces the reader to the functions and the requirements for the proposed facility. Steep-down converter is controlled by a microcontroller suitably selected from ATtiny family. In this work are gradually dismantled partial circuit solutions, from which is then compiled a complete circuit. Is analyzed in detail the proposal steep-down power circuit converter. Work also includes the program for microcontroller and PCB design for the final circuit solution. In conclusion, this work is carried out measurements on the sample the proposed facility.
General-purpose power supply with microcontroller
Jorda, Ivo ; Vyskočil, Pavel (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is design of adjustable switched mode power supply with symmetrical output of 25 V, and switched mode power supply with fixed output voltage of 5 V. Required maximum output current of each outputs is 3 A. At the beginning of the paper function of the basic SMPS topologies is described. Next all reqiured SMPSs are designed and chosen parts of the design are simulated. In the second half of the thesis assembly and testing of PCB are described as well as functions of programs. Last chapter contains results of meassurement of power supply paramters.
Driver of high brightness white LED
Tomášek, Petr ; Kubíček, Michal (referee) ; Frýza, Tomáš (advisor)
This document is analysing LED driving with switch power supply from electric distribution network 230V/50Hz. In the first chapter you can find short thesis about electric power supplies. Second chapter contains info about power supplies and their safety and EMC requirements. In the third chapter is analysis of LED. Chapter IV. is dedicated to LED power supply circuit desing and the last chapter is about construction and measuring of parametres of designed power supply.
Precise adjustable power suplly
Pawlas, Andrzej ; Magát, Martin (referee) ; Kadlec, Jaroslav (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with the proposing precise switching power supply. This switching power supply works with a maximum of 99 % duty cycle. Input voltage is 12 V and output can be set in the range of 1.2 V - 11.9 V. Current can be a source of burden 0 A - 20 A. The entire power supply is controlled by microcontroller. While addressing the proposal switching power supply have been developed five prototypes. Last prototype works well, but the output appeared significant interference.
