Design of Diagnostic System for Small Transport Aircraft
Harasim, Tomáš ; Bencalík, Karol (referee) ; Třetina, Karel (advisor)
Due to the airliners and aircraft operators pressure on reducing the operating costs, the diagnostic systems are included in aircraft, so that the wearness of single functional elements of other functional systems can be monitored. This monitoring can save money, that are usually spent on maintenance and especially, it leads to an increase of the overall safety of aircraft operations. The task of this work is to design a diagnostic system for small transport aircraft. For the right and proper design, is the correct understanding of the functions of each part on aircraft systems needed. The part of this work is attended to the selection procedure of appropriate diagnostic parameters, next section deals with the suitable options of their scanning. I do mention the summary of the chosen diagnostic parameters for the scanning and the recomended ways of their measuring.
Workstation with termo camera
Zeman, Martin ; Horák, Karel (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
This thesis contains an overview of physical principles concerning thermography and infra-red sensing, and a specification of a measuring instrument in a measurement system. Next, there are some particular examples of IR sensing applications. In the second part there is a thermal camera market research including individual manufacturers and models with their attributes and prices. There is a closer view of the thermal camera used for this thesis (Guide EasIR-4). In the end of the thesis there are some drafts of computer vision subject tasks (or practices), including workplace designs and solutions, and three task suggestions for bachelor or diploma theses including solution verifications.
Silica optical microresonators
Jelínek, M. ; Todorov, Filip ; Matějec, Vlastimil ; Chomát, Miroslav ; Kubeček, V. ; Berková, Daniela
The paper deals with the preparation of spherical silica microresonators by melting silica optical fiber with an oxygen-hydrogen flame. Resonant spectra of prepared spherical silica microresonators suitable for telecommunications and sensors purposes are also presented.
Optical microresonators for sensing and communications
Todorov, Filip ; Matějec, Vlastimil ; Chomát, Miroslav ; Berková, Daniela ; Jelínek, M. ; Kubeček, V. ; Sedlář, R.
The paper deals with optical microresonators, their preparation, characteristics and application to telecommunication and sensor purposes. Results in the preparation and characterization of spherical silica resonators achieved by the authors are presented.
All-optical methods of wavelength and modulation format conversion for high transmission rate optical networks
Honzátko, Pavel
A survey of results in the field of all-optical conversion methods, namely a wavelength converter based on the fiber XPM with subsequent conversion of PM into AM in FBG, a wavelength converter with XPM/XGM in SOA with conversion to AM in LPG, and a modulation format converter RZ/NRZ based on fiber XPM in Sagnac interferometer.
Applications of the fingerprint sensing in IT
Rakár, Peter ; Balada, Jakub (advisor) ; Kulovaný, Martin (referee)
The biometrics is a branch with long history. With the arrival of information technologies biometrics also penetrates onto the field of the computer science. Even if there have been specialists concerned with application of biometrics in informatics for decades, state of the biometric technologies does not provide hundred percent reliability. Biometrics in IT is still evolving and with improving technologies from other spheres of the human activity new challenges also arise in biometrics. Biometry of fingerprint is the most common and the most used biometry in practice. The aim of this work is to bring the problem of fingerprints sensing and recognition closer to the reader. Work describes individual characteristics of fingerprints as well as common aspects of all other biometrics. Next concern of the work is the application of fingerprints biometry in practice. It is closer concerned with the most common methods and approaches which are used in implementation of fingerprints sensing, analyzes, recognition and classification in biometric system. The goal of the work is not to create an exact guideline for fingerprints implementation but to make the reader acquainted with possibilities, advantages and weakness of the biometry of fingerprints in context of IT.
