[slo][cze][eng] Biometria je obor, ktorého počiatky siahajú ďaleko do histórie a s nástupom moderných informačných technológií preniká biometria i do sféry počítačových systémov. I keď sa odborníci zaoberajú aplikáciou biometrie v informatike už desaťročia, stav biometrických technológii stále neposkytuje stopercentnú spoľahlivosť. Biometria v IT sa i v súčasnosti vyvíja a so zlepšujúcimi sa technológiami z iných sfér ľudskej činnosti stále vznikajú nové výzvy i v biometrii. Najznámejšou a v praxi najviac využívanou biometriou je biometria odtlačku prstu. Táto práca si dáva za cieľ priblížiť čitateľovi problematiku využitia snímania a porovnávania odtlačkov prstov v biometrických systémoch. Popisuje špecifiká odtlačkov prstov i spoločné aspekty s ostatnými biometriami, čím uvádza čitateľa do kontextu biometrickej vedy. Práca ďalej popisuje aplikáciu tejto biometrie v praxi. Bližšie sa zaoberá najčastejšími metódami a prístupmi, ktoré sú využívané pri implementácii snímania, analýzy, porovnávania, indexovania a uchovávania odtlačkov prstov v biometrickom systéme. Cieľom práce nie je vytvoriť podrobný návod pre implementáciu biometrie odtlačkov prstov, ale zoznámiť čitateľa s možnosťami, výhodami i rizikami a slabinami, ktoré táto biometria v súvislosti s IT prináša.Biometrie je obor, kterého počátky sahají daleko do historie a s nástupem moderních informačních technologií proniká i do sféry počítačových systémů. I když se odborníci zaobírají aplikaci biometrie v informatice už desetiletí, stav biometrických technologií stále neposkytuje stoprocentní spolehlivost. Biometrie v IT se i v současnosti vyvíjí a se zlepšujícími se technologiemi z jiných sfér lidské činnosti stále vznikají nové výzvy i v biometrii. Neznámější a v praxi nejvíce využívaná biometrie je biometrie otisku prstu. Táto práce si klade za cíl přiblížit čitateli problematiku využití snímáni a porovnávaní otisku prstu v biometrických systémech. Popisuje specifická otisku prstu i společné aspekty s ostatními biometriemi, čím uvádí čitatele do kontextu biometrické vědy. Práce dále popisuje aplikaci této biometrie v praxi. Blíže se zaobírá nejčastějšími metodami a přístupy, které jsou využívané při implementaci snímaní, analýzy, porovnáváni, indexování a uchovávání otisků prstů v biometrickém systému. Cílem práce není vytvoření podrobného návodu pro implementaci biometrie otisku prstu, ale obeznámení čitatele s možnostmi, výhodami a slabinami, které táto biometrie v souvislosti s IT přináší.The biometrics is a branch with long history. With the arrival of information technologies biometrics also penetrates onto the field of the computer science. Even if there have been specialists concerned with application of biometrics in informatics for decades, state of the biometric technologies does not provide hundred percent reliability. Biometrics in IT is still evolving and with improving technologies from other spheres of the human activity new challenges also arise in biometrics. Biometry of fingerprint is the most common and the most used biometry in practice. The aim of this work is to bring the problem of fingerprints sensing and recognition closer to the reader. Work describes individual characteristics of fingerprints as well as common aspects of all other biometrics. Next concern of the work is the application of fingerprints biometry in practice. It is closer concerned with the most common methods and approaches which are used in implementation of fingerprints sensing, analyzes, recognition and classification in biometric system. The goal of the work is not to create an exact guideline for fingerprints implementation but to make the reader acquainted with possibilities, advantages and weakness of the biometry of fingerprints in context of IT.
