Picka, Jaromír ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
Master’s thesis is point to the innovation the data collecting of testing machine of selective circuit breakers. New solution of data collection don’t affect the operations of testing machine. The cost calculation of new solution is included. Master’s thesis also included program solution of SPC methods and application of it to the process of testing the selective circuit breakers.
Machine tool spindle quality assurance
Marek, Tomáš ; Prostredník, Daniel (referee) ; Jankových, Róbert (advisor)
The master thesis deals with the problem of quality assurance of headstock in a cooperating company, which is one of the leading manufacturers of grinding machine tools. The aim was to analyse the current situation and to suggest possibilities for improving the quality of the spindle. The main contribution is the introduction of control charts for individual values and a capability index to monitor the stability of selected production processes. The thesis concludes by suggesting a number of further options for improving the quality management system in the collaborating company, which should be considered by the company.
Optimization of production process
Nováková, Veronika ; Krásová, Anna (referee) ; Fiala, Alois (advisor)
The aims of this dissertation are to analyze the current state of process control, to identify the product range in selected organization and to design the process planning methodology to ensure an optimal implementation. Optimization is understood as costs minimization while keeping an acceptable continuity of supply. The dissertation contains a description of technological and non-manufacturing processes of brick products, as well as the summary and description of the basic tools of quality management.
The proposal for the optimisation of control activities for a selected process
Kocmánek, Ladislav ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Maradová, Karla (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the optimalization of control activities in the selected powder coating process. In today´s companies face increasing customer demands that demand high quality and speed of production. At Hitachi Energy is the powder coating process one of the most important processes, after which is introduced the final inspection of all painted parts. Due to situation on the labor market, the company cannot longer recruit new employees, but it must reduce the time and costs associated with powder coating inspection. The thesis focuses on the entire process of powder coating, identifies the most common poor quality in the process and determines the root causes of this poor quality. Based on these causes, solutions were designed and implemented with the aim of optimizing the control activity and reducing the costs of the poor quality of the powder coating process.

Optimalizace procesů v konkrétním výrobním podniku
Seidl, Štěpán
Seidl, Š. Process optimization in a particular manufacturing business. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2017. Bachelor thesis deals with optimization of selected processes in a particular man-ufacturing business with use of self-measured data and chosen methodical ap-proach. The aim of this work is to suggest the most effective solution leading to optimization of filling process and product weight measuring. The suggestion is made with respect to the business possibilities and management, which considers three possible investments. Control charts and capability indexes are used to ana-lyze current state of processes. Based on the discovered estimation of savings, the variant with best the estimated economic benefit is suggested to the business. Suggested variant is to buy automatic weighing system.
Statistics Control of Process Described by Attributive and Continues Variable
Svobodová, Hana ; Popela, Pavel (referee) ; Bednář, Josef (advisor)
This thesis aimes at approaching the problem of control diagrams. The first part summarizes the theoretical knowledge about the control diagrams, including their sorting based on the type of the monitored quantity. The different types of diagrams are described in detail. The second part deals with the practical use of control diagrams using actual data. Tests of definable causes are used on these data, and the causes of failure are sought. The key is to assess process stability.
Implementation of statistical methods in quality management in a chosen organization
Průša, David ; Aleš, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Hladík, Tomáš (referee)
The masters thesis Implementation of statistical methods in quality management in chosen organization is divided into two parts. The first part deals with the theoretical preparation for the second practical part. The theoretical part consists of a literature review of currently used statistical methods in quality control according to ČSN ISO/TR 10017 and a description of the standards used in quality management. Furthermore, this section describes the seven basic tools of quality management. The second part is devoted to the presentation of the selected organization, describing the current state of evaluating the quality of the production, presentation of selected manufacturing process and product, application of control charts and economic evaluation. At the end of this thesis, the results are evaluated and there was a proposal for an appropriate strategy.
