Title: Case study of a physiotherapy treatment of patient with Arthritis of the wrist joints. Název: Kazuistika fyzioterapeutické péče o pacienta s diagnózou artróza zápěstních kloubů Aim The aim of my bachelor thesis is to analyze the diagnosis of my patient and find a proper therapeutic plan for his health care and to prevent any further complication. Moreover I will be able to understand the function and the structure of wrist joint. Summary My bachelor thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part is called general part and I mention a brief description of the anatomy, kinesiology and biomechanics of the wrist joint. Ethiopathogenesis and proper therapeutic plan is mentioned below. The second part which is the practical (special) part give us all the proper information about the patient's anamnesis, all the examination that where performed and also my therapeutic plan that I proceed to my patient for six days by using special strengthening exercises, Propriomed, myorelaxation techniques and modalities like magnetotherapy. The influence of manual therapy on visual acuity.

Title of thesis: The effect of manual therapy on visual acuity. Goal: The main goal is to present theoretical facts about manual eye therapy, to examine the effect of manual therapy of oculomotor muscles on selected parameters: visual acuity, subjective evaluation using a questionnaire and eye muscle pain in patients with refractive errors and eye accommodation disorders. Methods: The research was completed by 20 patients with refractive errors and eye accommodation disorders, from aged 18 to 55 years. An initial and subsequent treatment and exit examination and of eye muscles with the help of manual techniques, in particular, reciprocal inhibition and mobilization of eyeball were performed. The initial examination was performed by an optometrist, who assessed visual acuity by using an Autorefractometr, Snellen optotype and Red-green test test. After than was performed the subjective evaluation questionnaire, then was performed palpation assessment of attachments of eye muscles. Palpation pain proband evaluated using the Numeric Pain Rating Scale.The resulting data were processed using statistical software R. A paired t-test was used to calculate p-values. The Influence of Specific Genes on Joint Hypermobility

This thesis is concerned with the influence of specific genes on the occurence of joint hypermobility. The main goal is to verify, whether the hypermobility test results differ among persons tested for the polymorphism of COL5A1, ACTN3, COL1A1 and GDF-5 gene with the respet to a particular genotype. The theoretical part of the thesis presented the specifics of sports genetics, general overview of the most important findings about hypermobilty, the manners in which it can be examined, its clinical features and also a detailed analysis of the role of the above stated genes, their association with health and performance attributes and their relation to hypermobility and range of motion. In the practical part, an examination of 15 probands (9 males and 6 females) at the age of 28,7 ± 5,6 years was conducted applying four scoring systems for measuring hypermobility. All probands were genetically tested by the PCR method. The statistical analysis was carried out by one-factor ANOVA. The statistical significance p < 0,05 wasn't reached with respect to any of the analysed genes. Title: Ranges of joint mobility in the hip and ankle joints and evaluation of flat feet on a podoscope when finding hallux valgus in classical ballet dancers Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to evaluate if selected parameters: passive range of motion (ROM) of rotations in hip joints, Q angle, passive range of motion of plantar flexion in ankle joints and the foot index are connected with the finding of hallux valgus (HV) diagnose. These factors will be compared between two groups of ballet dancers, one with HV and one without the HV diagnose. Methods: This observational case control study involved 30 probands between the age of 20-40 years. The experimental group consisted of classical ballet dances with the HV angle (HVA) >15ř at least on one foot (n1 = 19), in the control group were classical ballet dancers with the HVA <15ř bilaterally (n2 = 11). The HVA, ROM of the rotations in the hip joints, ROM of the plantar flexion in the ankle joints and Q angle were measured by a goniometer. The plantogram was captured by a photograph of the foot while standing on a podoscope and then it was evaluated by the Sztriter-Godunov method. Diploma thesis title: Influence of tissue flossing therapy on the range of motion and fascial chains in the lower limbs. Objectives: The main objective is to present theoretical facts about tissue flossing therapy, to document the effect of this method on the active range of motion in the lower limbs and to investigate whether this increase in movement can be achieved by influencing fascial chains in distant parts of the musculoskeletal system. Methods: The research was completed by 30 recreational or high-level athletes aged 19 to 26 years. Initial testing and subsequent treatment of the ankle joint and surrounding fascial structures were done using the tissue flossing technique. The initial tests consisted of a weight- bearing lunge test to test the dorsal flexion of the ankle joint and a Thomayer test to test the range of motion within the fascial superficial back line. Treatment of both ankle joints and surrounding fascial structures on both lower limbs was followed by final testing. The resulting data were processed using mathematical software R. Title: The influence of foam rolling on range of motion, strength of the knee extensors and flexors and H/Q ratio. Objectives: The aim of the diploma thesis was to determine the effect of the foam roller on the range of motion and strength of the extensors and flexors of the knee joint. The muscular strength of the knee extensors and flexors was determined using a Humac norm isokinetic dynamometer. Another goal was to determine the effect of the foam roller on the force ratio of extensors and flexors (H / Q) which is an important detail for the prevention of lower limb injuries Methods: This is an experimental study. The measured research group (n = 12) consisted of the students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport at the Charles University. A Black roll foam roller of medium hardness with a non-serrated surface was used. The range of motion of the knee flexors were measured using the sit and reach test and the knee extension test. The range of motion of the knee extensors were measured using a modified Thomas test and Ely's test. The title of the master thesis: Clinical evaluation of ROM of shoulder joint in cadet and junior category players of so-called overhead sports Abstract in English language: The goal of this thesis is to elucidate whether the "overhead" athletes like handballers and volleyballers suffer from extension changes and local hypermobility in their shoulder joints. These changes are going to be described by trigonometric measurements and hypermobility tests by Sachse. It is going to be determined which "overhead" athletes are affected the most. Their sex is going to be taken into consideration. The theoretical part of the thesis describes selected "overhead" sports and their strain on a human body from a kinesiologic point of view. Especially the impact of offensive blows in volleyball and throws in handball on shoulder joints are going to be examined. The thesis is going to examine a shoulder girdle from an anatomy, kinesiology, biomechanics, and physiology point of view. A chapter focused on hypermobility and it is classification is included too. 95 people without a prior injury of a shoulder joint in the age from 16 to 19 years old including 73 "overhead" athletes were tested. Title: Muscle tightness and range of motion analysis of selected upper body segments an its connection to selected parametres of experienced junior golf players swing. Objectives: The aim of this work is to assess muscle tightness, range of motion and golf swing kinematics of experienced junior golf players and to evaluate possible connections between muscle tightness, range of movement and golf swing kinematics Methods: Golf swing kinematics was observed by kinematic analyzer CODA Motion System. Selected parametres of golf swing were: shoulder rotation; pelvis rotation; X - factor; angle between shoulders and left arm. Parametres were measured in key moments of a goflf swing: end of backswing; impakt.
