Self-evaluation in Secondary Schools

SELF-EVALUATION IN SECONDARY SCHOOLS Abstract The dissertation thesis focuses on self-evaluation - self-evaluation of schools - in secondary schools in the Czech Republic with an emphasis on creation and development of professional community of teachers and creation of schools as Learning Organizations. The current state of research in the field of self-evaluation is described by the study of Czech and foreign literature. Self-conducted empirical investigation helped to determine the real state of its implementation in our secondary schools. In the framework of the thesis, self-evaluation is understood as a condition for further development of the school, improvement of the quality of teachers and all school activities; so that the school would be able to best reflect the needs of the market and its social partners. The purpose is to allow the school itself to assess its situation, to define its own problems and to find solutions - to find self-improvements. The thesis introduces a variety of approaches, benefits and difficulties that the current state of self-evaluation causes. The first part defines basic concepts, describes quality management systems used in educational process and legislative framework for the implementation of self-evaluation in secondary schools. The Study Increase Productivity for Business Development

Bachelor´s thesis solves problems of increasing the efficiency of corporate processes IMF soft Ltd., which is engaged in the development and manufacture of microprocessor systems. After analyzing the current state of processes, I will identify problems and suggest possible improvements. Furthermore, I will deal with putting them into practice and keeping them in the longer term. The result of this work should increase productivity and work efficiency in the enterprise.

Implementing SPC in the Production Process

The thesis deals with implementing of statistical process control (SPC) on CNC cut center into the mechanic production. One part of the project is engaged in theoretical information gathering, process monitoring and data collection. Second part deals with stabilization, regulation and improvement of the process using right statistical instruments. As a result is implementing measuring station from where will be the process data transferred to a server and evaluated. On the basis of that is possible to implement a correction in the right time if the process isn´t stabilized. The main objectives of the thesiss are cost reduction, scrap reduction and modernization of the process.

Estimation of future progress and self quality analysis are based on finded facts. The thesis is devided to chapters and subchapters which depend on every single quality tool.
