Education Purpose Oscilloscop
Švantner, Martin ; Kraus, Michal (referee) ; Kunovský, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis analyses possibilities, how purchase digital oscilloscopes into school laboratory. Target is to make education more interesting and more practital than is teoretical explication. Complicated professional equipments are not right for education because they are very expensive and hard to use. So I aim for special equipment, which can be more acquisition.
Virtual oscilloscope
Hoferková, Kateřina ; Pikula, Stanislav (referee) ; Šedivá, Soňa (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the design and implementation of a virtual oscilloscope used primarily for study purposes. The virtual oscilloscope is created in LabVIEW environment. The application also includes a function generator with two outputs. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the analysis of function generator and oscilloscope, and also describes the LabVIEW environment and its possibilities for creating a virtual measuring instrument. The practical part of the thesis describes creating of a two-channel virtual oscilloscope, which is inspired by the Siglent SDS1000X series oscilloscope. The thesis also includes two laboratory tasks prepared for this virtual oscilloscope.
Digital oscilloscope with AVR
Stejskal, Martin ; Mikulka, Jan (referee) ; Friedl, Martin (advisor)
The aim was got acquainted with microcontrolers from ATMEL family and study on wthat principes works analog and digital osciloscopes. On base of this informations, block design was made of digital osciloscope with microcontroler ATMEL from family AVR. The following chapters were look for a solution of input circuits with A/D convertor, witch transform analog signal to digital. Then, the digital signal is processed another circuits. Extended part of this work is software, witch must also controll data protocols and data security.
Multipurpose measuring device
David, Jan ; Žák, Jaromír (referee) ; Levek, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis describes the design of portable multi-purpose measuring device with Microcontrollers from Microchip running on battery power, for displaying the measured signal uses a graphical LCD with a resolution of 240x128. The device is equipped with an oscilloscope and multimeter with auto range.
Serial and Parallel Diagnostics of Vehicle Engine Control Units
Čoček, Jan ; Svída, David (referee) ; Beran, Martin (advisor)
The thesis considers diagnosis of motor vehicles from the past until the present day, focusing especially on the engine of internal combustion engines. In its sections briefly describes the function of the system and then analyzed how to diagnose faults. The charts are presented symptoms and denouement, using measuring techniques. The conclusion describes the OBD systems, the most commonly used automotive bus and a summary of several major measuring devices used in automotive diagnostics.
Design of universal motortester for car servis
Vařeka, Libor ; Chorý, Tomáš (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
The aim of this dissertation is to focus on the systems design of a multi purpose engine tester, a device for diagnostic techniques of self propelled motor vehicles to be used in a car mechanics work shop. The principle aim is to combine a permanently installed PC, a portable laptop and a workshop trolley containing all the necessary assembly tools and accessories. These three pieces used together will serve as a self contained unit within the workshop. I will compare the quality of the devices with others on the market. I will talk about the layout of the individual parts such as the design, structure and shape of the unit, as well as the ergonomics of the designed pieces. An important factor will be reducing the size of the device without compromising the quality and keeping it a similar price to other similar products on the market.
Triggering device for CANbus
Piroch, Vojtěch ; Arm, Jakub (referee) ; Burian, František (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a triggering device for the CAN bus that allows connection to the trigger input of an oscilloscope and display of the signal waveforms of the CAN bus frames. The first part of the thesis deals with the theoretical description of the CAN bus itself, its principle of operation, description of frames, etc. The second part of the thesis deals with the selection of the core components needed for the circuit, the design of the final schematic, the definition and calculation of the individual components in the circuit and the method of control. The third part is practical, it is dealing with testing the prototype device, designing the circuit board and packaging for the device. The following section describes the software part of the device, specifically how to control the device, a description of the program and libraries used in programming the microcontroller. The last section describes the final testing and measurement of parameters such as jitter and trigger pulse delay.
Diagnostika vozidla Passat B6
JANOŠŤÁK, Pavel
This thesis' theme is Volkswagen Passat B6 (year 2006) with 2.0 TDI engine (103 kW) car diagnosis with special consideration of electronic components and mechanical parts. Subsequently, the gathered data is going to be compared with the data provided by the manufacturer.
Hydrogel fantoms in sono diagnostic
Koňaříková, Anna ; Jugl, Adam (referee) ; Hurčíková, Andrea (advisor)
As part of the practical part of this diploma thesis, an internship took place in the Danish company Dansk Phantom Service, which is engaged in the production of ultrasound phantoms. The purpose was to better understand the ultrasound devices used to characterize these phantoms. Part of the phantom material was provided for measurements on ultrasound devices occuring at the faculty of chemistry of BUT to compare results provided by these devices. The follow-up task was to put into operation a digital oscilloscope, which is used to characterize phantoms, and to create a standart operating procedure. Furthermore, the material of the american company Humimic Medical was characterized and the possibilities of its use for the requirements of the Phillips company were assessed, with the subsequent addition of carbon fibers to the material for the modification of phantom properties. The possibility of preparing a viscous phantom from a mixture of agar, glycerol and water with subsequent charakterization of experimental samples was also investigated. It was found that the values from different ultrasound devices are comparable, differing only in small deviations. Humimic’s Medical material has potencial for specific applications, as does carbon fiber for property modification. A basic mixture of viscous phantom was created that would potentially meet the requirements. However, this basic mixture need to be further modified.
Paralelní diagnostika u systému vstřikování paliva Common Rail u vybraného vozidla
ŘEHOUT, František
Work on the topic of Parallel diagnosis in the fuel injection system Common Rail for deals with the measurement and evaluation of oscilogramů, which are measured on the sensors and action the members of the fuel system. The aim of this thesis is therefore to carry out, document and describe the diagnostics of the fuel system of that car using measuring instruments and diagnostic tools that are available in the context of school education.
