Utilization of information systems for monitoring of small transport aircraft operational parameters
Parýzek, Tomáš ; Klement, Josef (referee) ; Třetina, Karel (advisor)
This diploma thesis covers with the utilization of information systems for monitoring of small transport aircraft operational parameters focusing on mathematical and economical methods. The thesis contains overview of methods usable in various types of aircraft operation. It also deals with creation of Cessna 208B aircraft`s schedule of work. Network graphs are used for analysis purposes. The diploma thesis also includes methodology of information obtainment and requirements determination of information systems for monitoring of small transport aircraft operational parameters.
Design, administration and analysis of SSM multicast network
Žák, Jakub ; Pelka, Tomáš (referee) ; Šimek, Milan (advisor)
My thesis deals with the Multicast transfer in IP networks and it describes distribution technology of packets with special focus on Multicast technology. The thesis is devoted to the principles of Multicast including the description of scheme, protocol Multicast distribution, registration in the Multicast groups and finally the advantages and disadvantages of the Multicast transfer. Further in the thesis is described in details the Source Specific Multicast technology (SSM) that comes from multicast. There is a description how this technology Works and its implementation in the network equipment including the user side. This part of the thesis also deals with so called Distribution Trees that are used as multicast distribution via the IP networks like for example Internet. Based on the knowledge of the Multicast was created the network to spread the multimedia data with support of Multicast and SSM. The network is designed based on the Cisco system equipment as is: Cisco Content Engine 566, Cisco IP/TV broadcast server and router 1812. This multimedia network provides many services including the live TV broadcast and video channels. In this network using the multicast distribution of packets was done an analysis by protocol analyzer unit WIreshark and Finisar. This protocol analyzer unit allows us to compare the efficiency of multimedia data transfer between the Unicast, Multicast and SSM.
The Project Proposal for Building of Research Center
Hortová, Šárka ; Truhlářová, Martina (referee) ; Doskočil, Radek (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with creating a project proposal of the research center construction according to the required specifications by SEDOX Company Ltd. The theoretical part describes the basic knowledge and tools of a project management – analytical tools for evaluating the financial and time project costs, also risk analysis relating to competitiveness and maintaining on top of the market. The third part is devoted to the current situation of the development application market. There is the complete proposal of the research centre construction, using the tools according to the IPMA (International Project Management Association) that were described in the theoretical part. In conclusion I have presented my own solution suggestions, their benefits, project sustainability, return of the investment cost and also long-term prosperity.
Project Proposal of Reconstruction of Offices
Borek, Martin ; Horinová, Jana (referee) ; Doskočil, Radek (advisor)
The work focuses on the use of software support for the use of network analysis in the reconstruction of offices for the company Robotrio, Ltd. The first part describes the theoretical basis of the work, which must be understood for proper understanding of the practical part, which will be the first analyzed the current status of the project and subsequently detected by the analysis will be given their own proposals and measures to improve the efficiency of the project and summarizes the other benefits of this work. The intention of this work is not only to improve the original design of the project, but also demonstrate the benefits of information technology in project management and overall project management.
Analysis of escape routes in 3D building model
Halajová, Andrea ; Bartoněk, Dalibor (referee) ; Černý, Martin (advisor)
This diploma thesis is dealing about the Analysis of escape routes in 3D Building model. At first 3D BIM model, in format IFC, is extracted into the GIS software ArcGiS. From the model is created topology network, which representes the rooms and their connections. Based on this model is created the network analysis for building's escape routes. Results are 5 graphical representation of networks, web visualization and time required to exit from each room of the building.
Security analysis of network traffic using behavioral signatures
Barabas, Maroš ; Hujňák,, Petr (referee) ; Zelinka,, Ivan (referee) ; Hanáček, Petr (advisor)
This thesis focuses on description of the current state of research in the detection of network attacks and subsequently on the improvement of detection capabilities of specific attacks by establishing a formal definition of network metrics. These metrics approximate the progress of network connection and create a signature, based on behavioral characteristics of the analyzed connection. The aim of this work is not the prevention of ongoing attacks, or the response to these attacks. The emphasis is on the analysis of connections to maximize information obtained and definition of the basis of detection system that can minimize the size of data collected from the network, leaving the most important information for subsequent analysis. The main goal of this work is to create the concept of the detection system by using defined metrics for reduction of the network traffic to signatures with an emphasis on the behavioral aspects of the communication. Another goal is to increase the autonomy of the detection system by developing an expert knowledge of honeypot system, with the condition of independence to the technological aspects of analyzed data (e.g. encryption, protocols used, technology and environment). Defining the concept of honeypot system's expert knowledge in the role of the teacher of classification algorithms creates autonomy of the~system for the detection of unknown attacks. This concept also provides the possibility of independent learning (with no human intervention) based on the knowledge collected from attacks on these systems. The thesis describes the process of creating laboratory environment and experiments with the defined network connection signature using collected data and downloaded test database. The results are compared with the state of the art of the network detection systems and the benefits of the proposed approximation methods are highlighted.
Proposal of project and process management in the company providing services
Žišková, Kristína ; Veselý, Josef (referee) ; Bartošek, Vladimír (advisor)
In my diploma thesis I focused on the design of a new process and project approach and its application in the Chata Hrádok, which is focused on the organization of weddings and all related processes. I focused on the pre-project phase and its processes in the internal place, specifically the management and ordering of goods and all related processes. In the theoretical part, I presented the basics of the issue, with which I analysed the situation of the company in the analytical part and found a weak point of the project. Finally, in the design section, I present suggestions for improving the project, along with the analyses needed to make the change.
Development Project Proposal of SOS Bracelet
Ševčíková, Jana ; Smolíková, Lenka (referee) ; Doskočil, Radek (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the use of project management applied to the SOS bracelet development project. In the first part of the thesis, important concepts and methods are theoretically elaborated, which are used in the later stages of the thesis. In the following part one can find an analysis of the environment, in the case of this project the thesis introduces the issue of crime in the Czech Republic and the EU, and other analyses that show whether it is profitable to implement the project. In the last part, the actual solution proposals and the benefits of the project for society are elaborated.
