Assessment of motor performance in primary school age
Polívka, Tomáš ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Musálek, Martin (referee)
Title: Assessment of motor performance in primary school age Objective: The work had to determinate the condition of motor performance children. Children were from 7 to 11 years old. We wanted to demonstrate increase of motor performance as consequence of natural evolution. We investigated the condition of motor performance and a level of motor abilities. Methods: The main method was the test battery Unifittest 6- 60. This battery showed basic motor performance. We found the condition of movement regime of questionnaire. Results: Bmi moves in a normal category. The basic motor performance moves below average. Girls have the worst results in 11 years. Boys have the worst results in 10 years. Girls have the best results in 7 years. Boys have the best results in 8 years. Motor performace decreases with age. Movement regime don't neglected. The most children visit sports club at least once a week (42,9%). Some children visit sports clubs 3-4 times a week (37%). The most favorite sports are colective games, dancing and swimming. Conclusion: The results show decline of basic motor performance. Dominant physical abilities don't evolve in revelant age. Movement regime isn't neglected, but regime doesn't suffice for development. Children choose of many activities. Children commute to activities often. Key...
Changes of motor performance after epileptic seizure in developing laboratory rats
Hanáková, Helena ; Mareš, Pavel (advisor) ; Stuchlík, Aleš (referee)
The aim of the work was analysis of postictal period - possible changes of motor performance after seizure. Epileptic afterdischarges are induced by stimulation cof ortical sensorimotor area in rat. We will use the intensity to produce human myoclonic seizure in 12-, 18- a 25- days old animals. The youngets and the oldest groups differ by the absence (12-day-old rats) or presence (25-day-old- ones) of postictal refractoriness. Control groups will be formed by intact animals. Individual groups will be observed immidiatelly after seizure and after different intervals. Keywords: epileptic afterdischarge, postictal period, motor performance, laboratory rat, development
Selected anthropometric parameters and level of physical fitness of girls aged 17 and 19 years old.
KOZINOVÁ, Veronika
This thesis deals with selected anthropometric parameters and physical fitness of girls aged 17 and 19 years old. It is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with notions of anthropology, Anthropometrics, movement skills, growth, development and previous anthropological studies. The practical part deals with the comparison of body weight, body height, Body Mass Index among girls 17 and 19 years with selected comparative studies. It also investigates the performance and motor abilities of girls using a motor tests. The research is also measured body composition using Bodystat 1500. All values obtained were processed statistically in graphs and tables. The results follow a higher average value of our research group NS 2014 compared to comparing research.
The physical fitness of Youth (9 - 11 aged) live in the country and live in the town
RYBÁROVÁ, Petra
The theme of this work is to compare anthropometric measurements and motor performances of children aged 9-11 years from towns and villages. The results of anthropometric measurements and the found values in the selected motor tests are compared with tables that have been converted to the norms, standards, using a tenpoint scoring scale for motor tests. The statistical significance of the observed values, the differences between the two tested groups of probands, is evaluated by t-test.
Motor performance and somatic characteristic adolescents at age of 17 and 19
PŘÍLEPKOVÁ, Aneta
This bachelor thesis focuses on the appraisal of motor performance changes, chosen somatic features, body constitution and chosen functional tests of male and female adolescents at the age of 17 and 19. Motor performance has been evaluated on the basis of the results of motor tests: sit-ups with turning, forward bends and straightening-ups, long jumps without run-ups, staying in a forward bend and a shuttle run. It was found to shorten the length of jump in all test groups. The differences were evaluated as statistically highly significant. Next statistically highly significant decrease was found in forward and upright bending of 17 years old probands. It was considered the relationship between other motor tests and functional tests. Concerning the functional tests, the modified Ruffier functional test and dynamometric test have been carried out. Body height and body weight were assessed somatic features. It found to increase in body height in all tests groups. It was evaluated as statistically significant in comparison to some previous research. The body constitution was evaluated with the aid of these data: BMI, body fat percentage, active body mass and body water. The statistically significant increase in body fat was found with regard to all tests groups. Tested adolescents and their parents filled in questionnaires focusing on their relation to sport activities. All findings were put into the form of charts and diagrams, discussed and compared with the data processed by previous researches.
Body Composition and Motor Performance of Males Aged 18 to 25 Years
ZAHRADNÍČKOVÁ, Zita
The aim of my thesis was to collect, compare and evaluate body size, body composition, vital lung capacity, dynamometry and a level of motor performance of men aged from 18 to 25 years of two target groups - men who are professional swimmers or floorball players, and males of a common population. Using standard somatometric methods, a group of 39 swimmers, a group of 39 floorball players, and a group of 39 non-sportsmen of a common population were examined. The examined body parametres were body length, body weight, bustline, arm line, contracted-arm line, forearm line, thigh line, calf line; width of epiphysis of humerus and femur, wrist, ankle, biacromial and bicristal breadth, breadth of the transverse and sagittal section of chest; skin folds. The ascertained data were compared with the results of previous researches. The thesis also includes the results of motor tests, dynamometry and vital lung capacity.
Selected somatic characteristics and motor performance of girls aged 7 and 10 years
NOVOTNÁ, Petra
This work is focused on monitoring changes in selected somatic characteristics and motor performance of girls aged 7 and 10 years. The research was also focused on diet and lifestyle of the girls and their parents. The research was conducted at five different primary schools (Tábor, Soběslav, České Budějovice, Tvrdonice). Twenty six somatic dimensions, two functional tests and five motor tests for motor development were measured. There are also presented results of a questionnaire of children and their parents. Some body measurement was used for the calculation of body composition (the weight of the skeleton, the weight of the skin and subcutaneous tissue, the weight of the muscle mass and weight of the rest of the body) and the somatotype. The data were recorded in the pre-record sheets and then they were statistically evaluated and processed into tables and graphs. The obtained results were compared with the previous surveys.
