Apartment building
Thomajer, Viktor ; Brabec, Roman (referee) ; Brukner, Bohuslav (advisor)
The main task of bachelor’s thesis was to design an apartment building and to create the project design documentation in accordence with the law in Czech Republic. My object is an four-storey apartment building in Hradec Králové (Czech Republic). The building is consisting of one underground floor with the parking for residents and another 3 floors above the ground with the 25 apartments. Construction system of underground floor combine the elements of inner concrete columns and external walls on the foundation slab made of watertight reinforced concrete. This kind of foundation is called „white tank“ and except of load-bearing function fully provides the waterproofing solution under the ground. The rest of floors are made of ceramic blocks as the system of two-way load-bearing walls. External walls are insulated with mineral wool insulation according to ETICS. Floor slabs are designed as cast-in-place concrete structure. The roof is flat with the 2% of slope with wateproofing layer of PVC foil. All necessary utility structures are situated close to the building area and can be reach easilly. As the main source of energy for heating was designed heat exchanger system supported from hot-water sytem of city Hradec Kralové.

Apartment building
Strnadová, Adéla ; Hobzová, Klára (referee) ; Daněk, Lukáš (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to create project documentation for the construction of a four-storey apartment house on the plot parcel number 3627/97 in a cadastral territory Velké Meziříčí [779091]. It is a freestanding building setted on a gentle slope. This contributes to the design of the subcellar of the whole basement building. The basement is used as a mass garage with ten parking spaces. One of them is reserved for people with a physical disability. Other two parking spaces are proposed next to the building. On the first floor there are all the common facilities of the house (cellars, technical room, cleaning room, storage room, bicycle storage room and stroller storage room) and also two apartment units. On the upper floors there are only flats. Vertical support structures of the above-ground part of the house consist of Heluz ceramic cinder blocks and underground parts are load-bearing walls and monolithic load-bearing columns made of water-based concrete. Horizontal support structures are made of monolithic reinforced concrete slabs. The foundation of the object consists of reinforced concrete monolithic base slab of water-building concrete. The roof of the building is designed as a flat single-shell extensive vegetation roof. The terrace on the first floor is also designed as a single-mantle flat roof with a land layer of siberian larch boards. The whole building is insulated by the contact insulating system ETICS. The design also includes thermal assessment, acoustic assessment and fire safety assessment.

The subject of the bachelor's thesis is the project of a detached, five-storey apartment building situated on us. May 3, in the very center of Otrokovice. The building has one underground floor with collective garages and technical facilities and four above-ground floors, where 21 residential units are designed. Shops with facilities are designed on the 1st floor. The assortment for these stores is not precisely specified. There is also a cleaning room and a shared carriage house with a bicycle shed. The apartment building is designed as a reinforced concrete monolithic skeleton with load-bearing columns and horizontal structures. The substructure is designed on piles, footings and foundation strips made of reinforced concrete. The load-bearing structure of the underground floor is a combination of a reinforced concrete inner skeleton with columns standing on the base and reinforced concrete perimeter load-bearing walls with a thickness of 300 mm. The perimeter walls on the upper floors are lined with Porotherm 30 Profi bricks on a system thin-layer mortar. The perimeter walls are insulated - a contact thermal insulation system with a thermal insulation layer of th. 120 mm. On the perimeter walls there is a reinforcing beam, stiffener. The internal staircases are designed as monolithic reinforced concrete. The translations will be porothermic or reinforced. The ceilings are monolithic reinforced concrete with a thickness of 250 mm, with girders with a cross section of 650x400 650x300 or 650x500 mm. Balcony boards are lined over ISO beams. The staircase is a reinforced concrete monolithic. Windows and exterior doors will be plastic. The roof is flat with polystyrene insulation and fatrafol roofing. The heat source for heating and hot water is an exchanger connected to the primary circuit of the Hradec Králové hot water pipeline. Connection to the required public infrastructure networks can be implemented in the immediate vicinity of the buil

The subject of this bachelor's thesis is the design of a new apartment building with the elaboration of project documentation for the construction. The apartment building is located near the city center of Olomouc on a flat plot. The main idea of ??the building is small flats of the type 1 + kk, 1 + 1, 2 + kk and 2 + 1, intended as student private housing, or as start-up flats for young couples. Such flats are formed in building 16. On the last floor, 2 larger flats 3 + 1 with a terrace are designed for living of three to four member families. On the ground floor there is a technical and technological equipment of buildings and also a room for leisure activities of the house's inhabitants, specifically a gym or a larger exchange. It is possible to place outside fitness machines such as table tennis, billiards, etc. The basement then offers parking for residents of the house. The building of the apartment building is structurally designed as a brick made of ceramic blocks with monolithic reinforced concrete ceilings. The walls of the basement are reinforced concrete monolithic. ISO beams are used to prevent thermal bridges of balconies. The building will be insulated with the ETICS contact thermal insulation system. The roof is designed as vegetation. The staircase will be made of monolithic reinforced concrete and technically installed so that impact noise is not transmitted to the surrounding structures. The elevator shaft will be monolithic with a machine room on the 7th floor along the entire height made of reinforced concrete.
