Magnetic field analysis of synchronous machine
Volf, Tomáš ; Janda, Marcel (referee) ; Skalka, Miroslav (advisor)
The Magnetic Field Analysis Project of Synchronous Machine deals with program for magnetic field analysis of synchronous machine cross section. This program is written in detail along with the necessary theory of synchronous machine and the ANSYS program. After this the program for using different types of sectional wires modification is made – in the concrete for round conductors. It is attained the numeric computing method – The Finite Element Method. To creation of the magnetic field simulation serves ANSYS program, which uses The Finite Element Method.
Simulation of circuit breaker maglatch dynamic behaviour
Konšel, Ladislav ; Dostál, Lukáš (referee) ; Valenta, Jiří (advisor)
This work includes the theory of circuit breaker construction and is focused mainly on overload function. It mainly deals with electronic circuit breakers, i.e. equipped with an electronic trip unit. The work is focused on the part of trip unit - maglatch of trip unit. For the purposes of simulation, the geometric model is created. Maxwell program is used for the simulation. The work describes the options for conditions input which are necessary for simulation. Using the distribution of magnetic field intensity and magnetic flux density in the section of trip unit maglatch is determined by the simulation. Furthermore, the force effects acting on the armature of the maglatch are calculated. Force values and the directions acting on the armature are determined by changing the simulation parameters - shift of the armature and coil current. Simulations are performed both for steady-state and for dynamic simulation – movement of armature is taken into account. The supply source for the maglatch is created by an external circuit.
Material position tracking in production hall
Sládeček, Michal ; Otáhal, Alexandr (referee) ; Hejátková, Edita (advisor)
This diploma thesis describes implementation of an indoor positioning system for tracking the location and movement of material and products through the manufacturing plant. The system is designed with regards to simple installation and low overall implementation costs. It utilizes method of Wi-Fi and magnetic field fingerprinting. The system employs a client hardware (active tag with Wi-Fi module and sensors designed for this project) communicating with a server software which does the mapping and fingerprinting processing. Finall positioning system is prepared to collect locations data for further analysis aiming to improve efficiency of manufacturing processes.
Effect of magnetic field on laser-induced plasma characteristics
Vrábel, Jakub ; Pořízka, Pavel (referee) ; Prochazka, David (advisor)
This work is based on topic of laser induced breakdown spectroscopy „LIBS“ and its application to chemical analysis of materials. Paper presents a brief theoretical basis of LIBS with focus on effect of magnetic field to plasmas and modeling spectras for calib-ration-free LIBS analysis. Considerable part of work is dedicated to practical demon-stration of modeling spectras, using Matlab and interpretation of experimental results. The final output is automatized method for evaluation of spectras, which could leads to calibration-free LIBS analysis. Also there is an effort to increase sensitivity of method.
Magnetic field mesurement on electrical machines
Manduch, Viliam ; Skalka, Miroslav (referee) ; Mikulčík, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with magnetic field and the principles on which sensors for it´s measuring are based on. The following part of the bachelor work investigates the distibution of magnetic field in the environs of asynchronous engine. Analysis is evaluated with the assistance of graphical processing of measured values and a part of the analysis is also the comparison of this values with the values calculated with assistence of the method of final compoments in program FEMM.
Magnetic fields for medical experiments
Punčochář, Marek ; Cipín, Radoslav (referee) ; Patočka, Miroslav (advisor)
his work deals with the creation of magnetic fields for medical experiments. The first part deals with different types of coils, with a focus on the Helmholtz coil. Longer be described here how the winding coil-shaped mats, calculate the length of the field lines. After the work is focused on the involvement of the coil into the circuit.
Measurement of weak magnetic field in 3D space
Bár, Martin ; Klusáček, Stanislav (referee) ; Havránek, Zdeněk (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to theoretically examine the magnetic field of miniature cylindrical NdFeB magnets, compare the simulation results to real-world measurements, and design a magnetic field probe using suitable sensors. A FEM simulation was conducted using Ansys AIM and FEMM 4.2. The simulation shows that the magnetic induction on the surface of the magnet depends on the diameter/height ratio. The simulation results also show that 21 µm thick protective layer of Ni-Cu-Ni metal on the surface of NdFeB magnets lowers flux density of the smallest magnet sample (1x1 mm) by up to 14 %. It was also concluded that a larger magnet edge radius results in a higher flux density on the surface of the magnet. The biggest differences between simulation data and data measured by the F.W. BELL gaussmeter occurred in the smallest magnet sample. Using the FEMM 4.2 simulation software, a three-axis magnetic field probe was designed. Potential problems with this probe design have been identified. A simple procedure for probe calibration was proposed.
Calculation of induction machine stray looses
Jirásek, Tomáš ; Kurfűrst, Jiří (referee) ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (advisor)
The main goal of this thesis is a determination of an idle additional losses in an electric rotary machines and a calculation of these losses for induction machine. The additional losses are caused especially by the eddy currents on the surface of stator and rotor, further by a pulsation of these currents owing to the periodical change of air-gap permeance, magnetic induction in stator and rotor teeth and a differential leakage.
Properties of whiper motor
Kůta, Aleš ; Skalka, Miroslav (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
Nowadays a need of numerical computations of different tasks in the area of electrical engeneering is still rising. Common denominator of great demands given on a constructor and ecomonization of manifacturing is a requirement of efficiency. It´s necessary to use a characterictics of construction, own fundamentals and unique attributes of product. Application of Finite Element Method is possible solution which accombines abilities and knowledge of user in consecutive to complexity of computatio. This enables a use of the most optimal solution. This thesis describes a principals of Direct-Current motor and its´ special design: Direct Inductor motor with extrinsic excitation (permanent magnests). It presents a operation of wiper motor in consecutive to wiping systém and fulfillment of engeneering standards. It also describes a principles of Finite Element Method in context to basics of simulation program FEMM. Main attention is given to creation of concrete model and to simulation of gauged exercise with wiper motor. Also there is a second simulation of motor, focused to different type of stator excitation. Findings of thesis is a comparation of theese exercises. Consecution of modeling in software environment is described. It compiles gauged excercise and interprets them.
