Current state of the investment climate in Vietnam

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse the current state of the investment climate in Vietnam and the main investment advantages of Vietnam as a country that received considerable inflows of foreign capital in the 1990s as part of its increased integration with the global economy. The theoretical part defines terms of the investment environment such as investment, the investment climate and further definition of the legislative investment conditions for potential investors. The next section is focused on specific impacts of foreign investment on the Vietnamese economy, both in the economic but also the social sphere. In the final section, there are described the examples of foreign investments in Vietnam and also their contribution to the host country.
Automotive industry and Investment climate in Slovakia

This bachelor thesis focuses on automotive industry in Slovakia and investment climate in this country. In the first part, some basic terms such as foreign direct investment, investment climate and investment incentives are explained. Later these terms are described in the context of the economic structure of the Slovak Republic. In the third chapter, this thesis focuses on development of industry with a special attention to the history of Slovak automotive industry. Fourth chapter explains present situation of the automotive industry; thesis here sompares an amount of produced cars in Slovakia with other countries. This chapter is also focused on the employment in the automotive industry in Slovakia. Last chapter deals with automobile producers in this country;it is aimed to their production, export and social responsibility. Eventually, it also tries to sketch a possible future of the automotive industry in Slovakia.
Investment Climate in Estonia

The focus of this thesis is on the investment climate in Estonia. The text is mainly descriptive and analytical, written using topic-related literature and statistical data. It comprises four chapters, the first two chapters aim to define investments and transnational corporations, the last two chapters describe the macroeconomic situation of the whole Baltic region, including the Republic of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The purpose of the thesis is to give its reader a brief background of Estonian economy and to analyse manufacturing sector in Estonia by comparing the efficiency in the enterprises and Estonian-owned and foreign owned enterprises.
Strategic markets for Czech Republic: Russia, China, Ukraine and India

This thesis deals with the evaluation of Russia, Ukraine, India and China in terms of prospects of their markets for Czech exporters. Evaluation of these states is performed using PEST and SWOT analysis, characteristics of foreign trade of individual countries, with a focus on trade and economic relations with the Czech Republic (mainly on the analysis of the contractual base, import requirements and existing trade barriers, commodity trade structure and trends in exports and imports focusing on the development of Czech exports). The paper also outlines export opportunities for Czech exporters, perspective fields for export, formulates general recommendations for Czech exporters and financing of export activities. The aim of this work is the formulation of potential recommendations for Czech exporters for the analysis of the target market.
Analysis of investment incentives in the Russian Federation

This work is devoted to the definition of the system of investment incentives in the Russian Federation. The aim of this work is objective description and analysis of the existing system of investment incentives at the federal and regional levels. The effectiveness of investment incentives is assessed from the perspective of the investment climate in the Russian Federation. The introductory part is devoted to the definition of the investment climate in Russia in terms of current economic development and foreign investments. The final section assesses the effect of the incentive system in terms of its influence on the development of regional GDP and investment flows with the example of Lipeck region.
Current economic relationship between United States and Latin America

This thesis is about current economic relationship between United States and Latin America. The first chapter describes region of Latin America and his economic relationship with the U.S. Furthermore there is a short summary of the historical development of regional integration. The second chapter is focused on three particular countries: Brazil, Colombia and Chile. It explains their bilateral relationship with the United States and describes merchandise trade and trade in services. Investment climate and direct foreign investments are also mentioned in this chapter.

This Bachelor's thesis is about the investment climate in India. The first chapter explains important theoretical terms concerning this topic. The second chapter describes both historical and current aspects which are involved in forming investment climate. Indian economy and its involvement in international trade are also characterized in this chapter. The third chapter evaluates the investment climate as such. It introduces important reforms, industry restrictions, barriers to entry to the Indian market, and investment promotion agencies. It also provides information about foreign direct investments in India. The last part of this thesis is dedicated to investment opportunities for foreign investors.
Investments in Belarus

This thesis is dedicated to a very interesting topic - it is an investment activity. Investments are the basis of economic development and growth of living standards. Foreign investments are therefore a source for further economic growth. The author of this work focused on exploring investment in the country where she was born, it is Belarus. About the investment in that territory is not talked much, which could be caused by the local political situation. But Belarus is quite popular between Russian investors. The work is divided into several parts. The first part is theoretical and methodological, describes the general knowledge and concepts related to investment. In the practical part, the author describes the investment rules in Belarus and gives quite detailed information about the investment climate in the country. The thesis ends with an indication of practical recommendations for investment in Belarus.
Investment project evaluation in the Russian Federation from a foreign investor’s perspective

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate an investment project in the Russian Federation from the foreign investor's perspective. The project feasibility study was developed as the first step in a decision making process of execution an international investment project, which includes ambient conditions and market analysis. The plan of cash flow was compiled in compliance of Russian tax system, and was considered as a base for project evaluation by using appropriate methods. For further assessment of possible risks of the project was used sensitivity analysis.

The main objective of the diploma thesis is to provide a comprehensive analysis of the current investment climate in the United Kingdom and France, and to draw their comparison. It includes an analysis of significant political, economic, social, technological and legal factors, as well as assessment of available investment incentives. The thesis also contains an evaluation of FDI inflows to both countries. The thesis is consequently aimed at determining mutual competitive advantages of the United Kingdom and France.
