Investment environment of Baden-Württemberg

According to the Ernst&Young Study flew in 2013 the biggest amount of foreign direct investments to Baden-Württemberg in comparison to any other part of Germany. The aim of my bachelor thesis is to evaluate the attractiveness of Baden-Württemberg from the foreign investor's point of view and to evaluate the suitability for foreign direct investments in context of the whole Germany and explain why so many foreign direct investments flow into this country.
The impact of foreign direct investments on the economy of Mexico

The aim of the thesis is to analyse investment climate in Mexico and to review the importance and impact of foreign direct investments (FDI) on its economy. The first chapter of this thesis elaborates with key characteristics related to foreign direct investments. Furthermore, the second chapter is focused on the analysis of characteristics of the Mexican economy and subsequently there are specified those, that are considered as motivational factors of FDI inflows. Within this analysis there is a separate chapter dealing with newly adopted reforms by the Mexican government which are expected to be a significant contribution to an increase in FDI flows in the next period. Consequently, attention is focused on the development of the structure of FDI and its ground-breaking changes in the period before and after the introduction of the above mentioned structural reforms. At the end of the thesis there are reviewed new investment opportunities opening up in Mexico.
Automotive industry and Investment climate in Slovakia

This bachelor thesis focuses on automotive industry in Slovakia and investment climate in this country. In the first part, some basic terms such as foreign direct investment, investment climate and investment incentives are explained. Later these terms are described in the context of the economic structure of the Slovak Republic. In the third chapter, this thesis focuses on development of industry with a special attention to the history of Slovak automotive industry. Fourth chapter explains present situation of the automotive industry; thesis here sompares an amount of produced cars in Slovakia with other countries. This chapter is also focused on the employment in the automotive industry in Slovakia. Last chapter deals with automobile producers in this country;it is aimed to their production, export and social responsibility. Eventually, it also tries to sketch a possible future of the automotive industry in Slovakia.
Investment Climate in Estonia

The focus of this thesis is on the investment climate in Estonia. The text is mainly descriptive and analytical, written using topic-related literature and statistical data. It comprises four chapters, the first two chapters aim to define investments and transnational corporations, the last two chapters describe the macroeconomic situation of the whole Baltic region, including the Republic of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The purpose of the thesis is to give its reader a brief background of Estonian economy and to analyse manufacturing sector in Estonia by comparing the efficiency in the enterprises and Estonian-owned and foreign owned enterprises.
Analysis of Investment Environment of Belgium

This thesis analyzes the investment environment in Belgium using SWOT analysis. Within the scope off this analysis there are discussed the most important aspects of political, legislative, economic, socio-cultural and technological nature. Due to this fact, this thesis provides a comprehensive view on the Belgian investment environment and allows potential investors to become familiar with the local characteristics. Belgian investment environment namely disposes of many sectors, which are not apparent at first glance and which can carry investment potential. Therefore, despite the complexity of the Belgian administration, legislation and regional support programs, Belgium provides a convenient place for a particular business.
Current economic relationship between United States and Latin America

This thesis is about current economic relationship between United States and Latin America. The first chapter describes region of Latin America and his economic relationship with the U.S. Furthermore there is a short summary of the historical development of regional integration. The second chapter is focused on three particular countries: Brazil, Colombia and Chile. It explains their bilateral relationship with the United States and describes merchandise trade and trade in services. Investment climate and direct foreign investments are also mentioned in this chapter.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze and evaluate the investment environment in Poland. First, it defines the basic terms relating to the topic of the thesis and then it analyzes the Polish investment environment by going through political, legal, economic, socio-cultural and technological factors that affect decisions of foreign investors. The analysis includes a range of investment incentives, the review of FDI inflow to Poland and the rating of the country. This work concentrates on determining the strengths and weaknesses of the investment environment of Poland.

This Bachelor's thesis is about the investment climate in India. The first chapter explains important theoretical terms concerning this topic. The second chapter describes both historical and current aspects which are involved in forming investment climate. Indian economy and its involvement in international trade are also characterized in this chapter. The third chapter evaluates the investment climate as such. It introduces important reforms, industry restrictions, barriers to entry to the Indian market, and investment promotion agencies. It also provides information about foreign direct investments in India. The last part of this thesis is dedicated to investment opportunities for foreign investors.

This thesis focuses on foreign direct investment flowing into the Czech republic and its impact on the economic performance of the Olomouc Region and selected company in the region. The first part summarizes the theory of FDI with its fundamental division and potential impacts on host economy. Next part discusses the historical development of FDI in the Czech Republic also with the introduction of the government support for its inflow. Application part of the thesis deals with the economic situation, the structure of FDI and investment climate of the Olomouc region and analyzes the impact of FDI on the development of selected macroeconomic indicators. The last chapter evaluates the entry of foreign investor to selected company in the region in terms of qualitative changes occuring in the organizational structure and economic performance of the company and benefits for the region.

Subject of this thesis is to evaluate the conditions for an entry of the foreign entity to Cambodia. The introductory part of the work summarizes facts about historical development and about geographical and social environment of the country. Separate part of the work is then dedicated to the latest development and to the current political and economic situation. More specific third chapter describes the investment environment of Cambodia including the investment incentives. This part also provides information on legal aspects of entry. The last section summarizes basic cultural differences with regard to both common daily and business life.
