Objectives: The main aim of this thesis is to analyse the most common injuries among young people who regularly play floorball and find out the effect of the intervention of a physiotherapist or the application of compensatory exercises in the training process on the incidence of injuries. It is also important to compare the availability of physiotherapists for individual youth teams and whether the provided care is sufficient to prevent injuries. Furthermore, the aim is to verify whether the most affected segment even among floorball youth is the ankle joint, which in studies focused on the adult category has repeatedly emerged as the most frequently injured area of all parts of the body. Moreover, my effort is to evaluate the most common causes of injuries - whether a collision with another player is more probable risk factor than an injury caused by one's own fault. Methodology of parafloorball

TITLE: Methodology of parafloorball OBJECTIVE: The main aim of the thesis was to methodically elaborate the issue of para floorball and the revision of the rules based on floorball and its rules, when difficult situations arise for the referee to judge whether it is an offence or not. METHODS: The research was conducted by analysis and observation. Thus, the main method was the observation of photographs or video recordings and the observation of league matches, supplemented where appropriate by questions. The results of document analysis and observation were elaborated in the results section by analysis or more detailed description, supplemented by photographs and references to video recordings of league matches. RESULTS: In the results section of the thesis, situations or examples of selected offences were analysed and described in detail. For each, the values of the offence, i.e. the amount of punishment for committing the offence, were recorded. The given situations were supplemented with photographs or links to videos of matches in which the situation can be viewed for illustration purposes. Furthermore, for some offences, aspects or factors that may influence the referees' assessment of the offences were evaluated. Working with Floorball's Talented Youth in Czech Floorball

Title: The work with talented youth in the Czech floorball Objectives: The aim of this work is to reflect on management of talented youth in the association called Czech floorball, which is the representative and organizer of floorball in the Czech Republic and processing of course of the camp. Methods: In my thesis I used the observational method of direct observation for the most part. I also applied methods of theoretical knowledge, analysis and research of Czech and foreign literature. Results: Reflection on management of talented youth, that is based on participation at the camp for talented youth. Injury analyses in florball players and possibilities of their prevention

Background Floorball is a dynamically enveloping game that is gaining popularity worldwide. However, as the interest in the sport grows the number of acute and chronic injuries increase both absolute and relative. Objectives The aim of this systematic review was to determine the prevalence of the most common acute and chronic injuries in floorball and to determine the effectiveness of intervention programs in preventing injuries in floorball. Methods The bachelor thesis was conducted as a systematic review in accordance with the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses Statement (PRISMA). The electronic databases PubMed, Web of Science and Scopus were used to retrieve relevant papers. Results A total of 17 cohort or cross-sectional studies and 5 intervention studies were included in the final selection, all the studies focused on different aspects of injuries in floorball players. The total number of participants in these studies was 7,256 and the mean age ranged from 10 to 30.9 years. The most common injuries were knee and ankle ligament injuries. Eye injuries were also frequent. Intervention programs resulted in a reduction in injuries, particularly in males and younger individuals. Silvie Táborská Title: Role of physiotherapy in preventing injuries of floorball players Abstract: This theoretical-practical thesis focuses on the role of physiotherapy in preventing injuries by floorball players. The theoretical part consists of 6 various topics. The first topic is a general introduction to this sport, its history, rules, and course. The second topic focuses on the analysis of movement aspects typical for this sport, and the third one evaluates the impact of floorball on the musculoskeletal system. Next, the issue of the most common injuries in floorball and their causes are introduced. The fifth topic concentrates on the possibilities of prevention of injuries. The last topic is the role of physiotherapy and its application for intervention in preventing injuries in floorball. The practical part has two aims. The primary one is to create a modified neuromuscular training program (inspired by a Finnish study by Pasanen et al. (2008b)) which is subsequently applied to the players. Analysis of floorball teaching at the 2nd grade of elementary school

This bachelor's thesis deal with the issue of floorball teaching as part of physical education at the second level of elementary schools. The main goal was to analyze teaching at sport classes. In the theoretical part, I focused on the analysis of professional literature dealing with floorball rules, game activities and game combinations. During the research part, I focused on educators. With the help of questionnaires that I sent out to every elementary school in Orlicko-Ústecko region, I found out, which methods teachers apply in their lectures. I also investigated the sport equipment and the popularity of floorball across students and teachers. The result of research showed that teachers in physical classes apply simpler games activities rather than game combinations in their lessons. Regarding the sport equipment, it was found out that all elementary schools have good and enough sport equipment. Our research also confirmed a theory that floorball is a very popular sport nowadays among students.
Spatial analysis of participants in world men´s championships in selected team sports

This bachelor thesis deals with spatial analysis of the world men´s championship in selected team sports, namely handball, volleyball, rugby, and floorball. The thesis consists of two main part - theoretical and analytical part. Theoretical part researches cultural geography, geography of sport, as well as the history and an overview of the world championships given by the sports. Analytical part contains spatial analysis participants of world championship of individual sports, which is the main goal this thesis. Data drawn from official websites international federations are used in map parts and comparations. The results of bachelor´s thesis brought survey, that handball and volleyball seem like sports, where more states compete between themselves, however the biggest number of states comes from Europe. Rugby and floorball are sports, which has their participants less concentration around the world, participants of world championship in rugby have connection with Great Britain and its colonization, participants of world championships in floorball have link to ice hockey.
Elaboration of the theory and didactics of floorball in the form of an educational DVD

This graduation thesis focuses on a systematic analysis of the current floorball equipment, playing techniques, selected individual skills as a form of learning process via DVD. The main purpose of this thesis was to approach floorball in both written and form instructional video. The first part of the thesis includes an outline of the history of floorball, the rules of floorball and floorball didactics. The second part deals with the analysis of floorball equipment and floorball technique, it also contains the method of selected elements of individual game activities. DVD video helps beginners to be guided and prepared to master the basic game activities of an individual, both offensive as well as defensive. In addition to analysis and synthesis, cinematographic was also used a method that was important for the creation of a DVD that includes an analysis of floorball equipment and floorball techniques, and also deals with the methodological series of selected elements of game activities individuals.

Floorball as a prevention of socially pathological phenomena of youth. Key words: leisure time, socio-pathological phenomena, prevention, floorball, youth In general, sport as a leisure activity should support prevention of socio-pathological phenomena in society. The thesis is focused on a specific sport activity - floorball and the Floorball Club Štíři. It describes the structure and operation of the youth categories of the Club as well as the content of their training sessions. The goal of the Club's coaches and their approach towards young players is introduced here both as an effort to develop their sport skills and to bring up valid members of society. The thesis deals with variety of Club events organized for members such as suburban camps or multi-day sports camps. Next part summarizes the development through floorball age categories, how it affects young players' leisure time and whether it can be recognized as beneficial for the prevention of socio-pathological phenomena.
