My title of bachelor´s thesis is the business plan for the student restaurant/bar, which I would like to open in my home town Poprad. The aim of this thesis is creating a business plan, based on which I will analyze if it is realistic to open a restaurant in my chosen place. My work will be divided into two separate parts. The first part will focus on the theory of entrepreneurship and business plan. In the second part, I will describe how I imagine the restaurant and bar I want to open. Then I will describe the economic and competitive environment, SWOT analysis and business plan of my restaurant.

The subject of this Master’s thesis is to define of the enterprise’s business aim and apply it to concrete business plan. The first part of this thesis concludes an entry to the sector of small and midle-sized enterprises; there are definitions of specific attributes of these enterprises, their advantages and disadvantages, and their importance for an economy and the procedure of processing the business plan. In practical part are applied theoretical findings including important analysis and calculations supporting defined goal. Thesis includes proposal for development of the company based on specific advantages and suppresed the most significant threats.
Franchising as a Form of Market Entry

This bachelor thesis will discuss franchising as a business model. The structure of this thesis is the following; firstly I describe franchising and its context and secondly I apply the theory on the company Dancing Crackers. The purpose of this thesis is to line up steps and prepare a plan for the realisation of a franchise project. I start with the more general perspective and then move on to the practical aspect of the thesis. Based on the lined up steps which were applied to the company Dancing Crackers I have concluded several findings which allow me to argue for methods that increase effectiveness of franchising processes. This was concluded based on methods of observation.

This thesis has been elaborated as a proposal of a business plan for establishment of a small-scale production company in the area of sitting furniture without any inner reinforcement. The business activity is supposed to be run as only licenced at the start with a perspective to subsequently change into a limited liability company as a legal entity. The thesis has been subdivided into: theoretical part, which clarifies fundamental notions and limits the issue of the practical part, which contains the business plan itself, marketing strategy and the prospects of realisation of this business intention.

This thesis deals with the business plan of establishishing a small business in agro-tourism. The business plan will be applied to a particular case - Carolina equestrian team in Zbraslav. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part focuses on the theory. Here I explore some basic concepts relating to business, business plan and agrotourism. The second practical part is focused on designing business and financial plan. This work also examines in detail the current state of the entire komplex in Zbraslav with the analysis of competition in the area.
