Termination of employment by employer

My dissertation´s topic is termination of employment from employer´s side. It includes determination of possibilities and recommendations how to properly terminate employment with employer without any legal consequences in practice. The basic terms in relation to given topic such as employment, importance of employment contract, its requirements and participants of labor-law relations are defined and described in first part of dissertation. Next part deals with termination of employment methods and compares mutual differences. It also takes reasons leading to termination of employment by employer into account. Practical part of dissertation is aimed at the issue of termination of employment by employer in chosen company. The process evaluation of this termination is performed both from general and company´s point of view in dissertation´s next part. Assessment and evaluation of legal reasons for termination of employment is present in the last part, in which the actual problems of dismissing employees are solved with help of real court decisions.

Bachelor thesis concerns the termination of employment by the employer. The first chapter generally characterized employment. A substantial part of the work consists of formal and content requirements of individual ways of termination of emplyment, ie termination of employment during the probationary period, immediate termination of employment and dismissal. In addition work has a separated chapter, which is devoted to the obligation of the employer after termination of employment. Theoretical considerations are interspersed with case law from the area. To compare the observance of the legislation in practice, I devote a chapter to personal experiences of different employers and mention the demands of an invalid termination. In conclusion, I evaluate the regulation of termination of employment at the base of my observations received from employers and presents proposals to improve legislation and recommendations to employers.
Employment Termination Initiated by Employer

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to provide compact sight on issues connected to employment termination and primarily to termination initiated by the employer. It describes ways of how the employer can terminate employment with employee in detail and it determines employer's rights and commitments which accompany this termination. The practical part of this thesis is based on two types of survey. The questionnaire survey inquired the most frequent way which employers choose when dismissing an employee. The most frequent way was then described in the fourth chapter. Second survey was the interview in which I compared attitudes of two employers from different fields of business to the above stated topic.
Outplacement

This thesis deals with the redundancy of employees and then providing outplacement services. The aim is to understand and analyze the services of outplacement provided by consulting organization Tres Consulting, Ltd. The work is divided into three parts. The first part describes the theoretical background to the planning of human resources, the possibility of redundancy and subsequent assistance to redundant employees. The second part consists of research of EQUAL association focused on knowledge of the concept outplacement in Prague and Usti nad Labem. The third part of the thesis is an interview at Tres consulting company. Topics are continually commented and evaluated during this interview.
