Bachelor´s thesis focuses on the possibility of using the program AutoCAD Civil 3D to create a digital terrain model of interest locations. Then subsequently the design of linear hydraulic structures which serve as flood protection, as well as anti-noise barriers, retaining walls or for example various modifications of water.
Application of Civil 3D to river regulation
Rajnoch, Dalibor ; Špano, Miroslav (referee) ; Duchan, David (advisor)
The goal with this bachelor thesis is to review and modify the watercourse of Moravská Dyje river, in the part from 263,69 to 265,13 km. The modification and revision was made in the Autocad CIVIL 3D program, the computitanon part in the HEC-RAS program. First, the current situation was evaluated, then a plan of anti-flooding measure for Q100-years water was designed. Finally, the suitability of the Autocad CIVIL 3D program in connection with making river regulations was evaluated.
Evaluation of a Water Reservoir Bed Morphology Using Bathymetric Data
Jílek, David ; Menšík, Pavel (referee) ; Marton, Daniel (advisor)
Sedimentation of reservoirs is one of the current problems in the field of water resource management. The actual conditions of the bed morphology can be scan by modern bathymetric sensors or measuring and then transferred to digital terrain models. This bachelor thesis evaluates the process of the sedimentation of the upper reservoir of Nové Mlýny reservoir since its first filling in 1978 to the newest measuring in 2018 using an assessment of a water volume changes in the reservoir. The thesis also describes a detailed manual of reservoir volumes evaluation in the programs ArcGIS and Atlas DMT, and verification of the method accuracy. These programs were used for creating the digital terrain models and calculating area-volume curves that were utilized for evaluation of a volume change and then for the amount of the reservoir sedimentation. The total volume of the reservoir loss during the forty years is estimated as 500 thousand m3 which equals 28 % of the total reservoir volume, at least the 300 thousand m3 of sedimentation was realised in the last ten years. The outcomes are part results of the project ATCZ28 SEDECO – Sediments, ecosystem services and interrelation with the floods and droughts in the AT-CZ border region.
Documentation of the fortification of Kepkov
Březinová, Pavlína ; Mgr.Ing Monika Koroniová (referee) ; Hanzl, Vlastimil (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis deals with geodesic documentation of the defunct, medieval fortification of Kepkov. Thesis describes the history of location, the importance of surveying, measuring, calculation, graphics work, the creation of control cross section and the accuracy testing. During measuring work were used methods GNSS - RTK, traverse and tacheometry. For processing of acquired data were used softwares Groma v.12, MicroStation V8i and Atlas DMT. The output is the thematical map in scale 1:500 on format A3 in coordinate system S-JTSK and height system Bpv. The part of the bachelor’s thesis is also the digital terrain model.
Large-scale Mapping for Creation of Digital Terrain Model in Valley of Oslava River
Grečnár, Jiří ; Kubíková, Hana (referee) ; Vondrák, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is interested in large-scale mapping for creation of Digital terrain model and tacheometry plan in valley of Oslava river. The work deals about methods for mapping, processing and presentation the data. For this work was used tacheometry method. The results of work is a tacheometry plan at 1:500 scale and data for digital terrain model.
Terrain creation in the Revit program
Meluzín, Tomáš ; Volařík, Tomáš (referee) ; Berková, Alena (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with the creation of a digital terrain model in AutoDesk Revit software. It explores the three options for creating a digital terrain model offered by Revit. Terrain modeling based on contour lines, inputting elevation points directly in Revit, and modeling based on an imported text file with coordinates. The input data for the first mentioned option, contour lines, was created in AtlasDMT software. This process is also described in the thesis. The thesis is devided into two parts. The first part focuses on Digital terrain model issues and related data collection methods, and the second part provides a detailed procedure for creating a digital model in Revit. The outcome of this thesis is a digital terrain model of the surrounding area of the object of interest and a site plan of this area.
Výpočet odtokových poměrů v GIS v závislosti na kvalitě DMT vzniklých z různých vstupních dat
PLIC, Vítězslav
This thesis deals with the calculation of runoff parameters in the Třísov stream catchment using geographic information systems (GIS). Various digital terrain odels were created and compared from different input data, including the digitization of existing maps and the surveying of the terrain using GNSS and tachymetry methods. Subsequently, runoff ratios were calculated for design rainfall events along with other input data. The thesis examines the impact of input data quality on the accuracy of runoff ratio determination in a small catchment. The analysis includes the examination of runoff paths, the comparison of runoff before and after adding an unknown watercourse to the digital terrain model, and the determination of the amount of water retained in the watercourse. The aim of this thesis was to improve the quality of input data for more precise and reliable determination of runoff parameters in the landscape.
Modeling the impact of the potential anti-erosion measures in the selected area
KOKEJL, Karel
This diploma thesis deals with the topic of water erosion. Specifically, it is a matter of mitigating this process by applying an suitable anti-erosion measure. One of the goals of this work is that a suitable system of anti-erosion measures with a focus on technical anti-erosion measures is proposed for the selected area. Other technical aspects of implementation into the existing digital elevation model and verification of its functionality using the USLE equation in GIS (in this case in the ArcMap program) and modeling of povrchového runoff. In the theoretical parts of the work, the reader is acquainted with the basics of water erosion, detection of water erosion and anti-erosion hazards. Then it is introduced the introduction of the area of interest and the methodological procedure of the work, which is focused mainly on the calculation of erosion and dimensioning of anti-erosion measures.
Using Sentinel-1 data for creating a digital terrain model by means of radar interferometry
Karvánek, Matouš ; Potůčková, Markéta (advisor) ; Hlaváčová, Ivana (referee)
Using of Sentinel-1 data for radar interferometry Abstract The diploma thesis deals with extraction of a digital surface model (DSM) using synthetic aperture radar interferometry (InSAR) and Sentinel-1 data in selected locations of the Czech Republic. The InSAR technique, the Sentinel-1 data, their parameters and possibilities of their usage are described in the theoretical part of the thesis. The specification of the model areas and used data follows. The practical part is focused on creating a methodology of deriving a digital surface model and its extracting in the three tested locations. These locations differ from each other in their geomorphological features and land cover. At the end of this part the comparison of the extracted model with the reference model DMP 1G using statistical methods is carried out. At the end of this thesis the results are evaluated and discussed. Key words: InSAR, Sentinel-1, SAR, DSM
