Performance-enhancing substances in sport and their effects on the human body - the preparation and the evaluation of new didactic materials

The diploma thesis is foollow up on nutritional supplements in sport, both allowed and forbidden, therefore doping. It focuses on teaching at secondary (hight) schools and incorporating the issue of sports supplements into lessons. The theoretical part includes an analysis of the RVP for grammar schools and sports grammar schools, a literature search on the topic of support substances i sport and the theory of didactic research. The practical part contains an evaluation of the questionnaire survey, which examines pupils' knowledge about nutritional supplements focused on sport, and evaluation of the evaluation questionnaire, which is served as a feedback reflection in verifying didactic materials. Furthermore, in the practical part there is created technical text for teachers, presentations with didactic notes, worksheet including author's solution and didactic game verifying knowledge after the subject's interpretation.
Respiration as an interdisciplinary topic in science education

This diploma thesis is focused on topics of and respiratory chain and their processing as educational animations for secondary schools. In the theoretical part of the diploma thesis, supporting terms are defined (visualisations, interdisciplinary relations, animations). Next, themes are included in educational field and thematic unit in RVP G. Two analyses of the topic of respiratory chain are mentioned and evaluated in this part. Firstly, there is an analysis focused on the most used chemical and biological textbooks. The second one is focused on available online animations. For research purpose of the diploma thesis quantitative method was used - a questionnaire survey. Results of this survey are listed in the practical part. Practical part presents educational materials specified for support of education topics of respiration and respiratory chain. Stress on illustrative nature and interdisciplinarity is laid in these materials. The principal materials are educational animations which were made in program Adobe Flash Professional CS6. Study text was also written to these animations. Created educational animations give a complex view on respiratory process. Individualization in pre-school and elementary education

The diploma thesis "Individualization in Preschool and Elementary Education" deals with an individualized education of preschoolers and children at the primary school stage. It is a case study with direct observation, interviews and studying the relevant documents qualitatively examines in detail the individualization in a particular educational institution in order to gain insight into its real individualized learning using representative sample to clarify its meaning. The thesis has both theoretical and practical forms and is aimed at studying the possibility of the individualized learning. It analyzes a specific way of teachers' pedagogical work with preschool children and school children in primary education. The first chapter of the theoretical part is based on knowledge drawn from several information sources about the individualization as an organizational form of education and also on synthesis of findings from several pedagogical and psychological disciplines influencing individualized learning; the second chapter describes the basic terms, principles, types, systems and special organizations of individualized educational work. Media education as a part of foreign language educationat czech schools

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of media education as a part of foreign language education at Czech schools. The thesis is divided into three major part - the theoretical background with analysis of national curriculum and school curricula, the practical part - qualitative research of teacher's opinions and quantitative research of student's opinions on media education. The third part offers description of activities and handouts that can be used in English classes to improve the level of media literacy. It proved that the connection of media education and foreign language classes is not indicated in the Frame Educational Programme, however it gives the possibility to school to integrate the topic into any subject. Based on the analysis of the school educational programmes of selected school it was found out that schools do integrate media education into many subjects including foreign languages. Most of the foreign language teachers claimed that they integrate media education into their classes. However, they are limited by certain barriers - primary school teachers especially by low language knowledge. TITLE: Textbooks of French as a foreign language KEYWORDS: French as a foreign language, didactic materials, a textbook, the division of textbooks of foreign languages, a teaching method, a language competence ABSTRACT: This Bachelor's thesis is called Textbooks of French as a foreign language and it focuses on analysis of French language textbooks. The thesis deals with the structure of French as foreign language textbooks, their contents and their historical background. The practical part of the thesis concentrates on modern French as foreign language textbooks, beginners level designed for adults. A complete list of all textbooks published from 2010 till today is presented at the beginning of the practical part. Furthermore, two textbooks were chosen for a deeper analysis. Allez Hop! was written by Czech authors and Totem 1 by French ones. The goal of the thesis is to describe and analyze the methods of teaching foreign languages as well as methods of teaching every language competence. Furthermore the thesis remarks on the application of the methods in modern textbooks. In order to reach this goal the descriptive, analytical and comparative methods are used.
