Embedded system for date collection
Varga, Kamil ; Štohl, Radek (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
This master's thesis is describing problems of embedded systems and their development. Furthermore, the operating system GNU/Linux and it's cross-compiling is described. Hardware problems are analyzed too. Concrete solution is system which is able to boot from the USB disc and it is based on OpenWrt distribution running on Edimax BR-6104KP router. The whole solution is described the way which can lead to any general embedded system.
PLC technology in data collection systems
Kolář, Jan ; Mlýnek, Petr (referee) ; Mišurec, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the use of PLC technology in data collection. The first part includes information about PLC. An analysis of types, properties and types of modulations of PLC focusing on the narrowband one is carried out. Used modems from Yitran company are described. Attention is also paid to creation of software for an application focused on data collection from simple sensors. The thesis incudes the description of two created applications required for the realization of data collection system. In the last part, measurement of packet loss dependence on distance is described. From the measurement it follows that the modems operate reliably with rising distance as well.
System for data acquire with Raspberry Pi
Ciprys, Michal ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
This work deals with the collection of data from analog sensors, their storage and display using the Raspberry Pi microcomputer. In more detail it deals with selecting the appropriate analog-to-digital converter, selecting the appropriate storage and database server, web server and application to display the measured data.
Monitoring Service Properties of an IPFIX Collector
Kala, Jan ; Žádník, Martin (referee) ; Wrona, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis addresses possible ways of monitoring IPFIX collector, which is used for the collection of metadata about network traffic. The thesis briefly introduces the pro- blematics of monitoring and describes the current state of IPFIX collector, which is being developed by an organization called CESNET. It also describes service properties, which can be monitored during the process of data collection using the IPFIX protocol. A new plugin is described, which is intended for the collection and the export of service properties. The thesis describes an implementation and contains results of testing of the new plugin.
An Application with HAWK Controller
Klíma, Jaroslav ; Štohl, Radek (referee) ; Jirgl, Miroslav (advisor)
The target of this bachelor’s thesis is to execute a connection between the HAWK controller by the Centraline/Honeywell company and crane models through the MODBUS/TCP communication protocol, including a demonstration of its functionality and creating a visualisation. Programmable machines SIEMENS S7-1200 were used to control the models. The first part of the thesis is dedicated to describing the HAWK controller and its communication options in its basic configuration. The second part is dedicated to the most utilized functions and terminology of the COACHAX development environment thanks to which the MODBUS communication is executed and a demonstration application is created. The practical part first offers a basic exercise to demonstrate the communication of a programmable machine and the HAWK controller through MODBUS/TCP and then an application which creates a shell system surface, unlike the programmable machines, and offers advanced options of controlling the model and formation of basic functional statistics.
Game Server Status Monitoring Portal
Skála, Dominik ; Hynek, Jiří (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
The main goal of this thesis is the development of a game server monitoring application which handles collecting and visualisation of collected data. The thesis compares and looks into existing solutions, their pros and cons. The solution is built upon this observation, specifically the design of the monitoring application and a modern web application with API access. The API is created using the Yii PHP Framework. The user interface is created using the ReactJS JavaScript library. The monitoring application itself is an independent application build in PHP. In the conclusion of the thesis, the evaluation of achieved results and the effectivity of the monitoring application is discussed. Based on the results, other implementations of monitoring applications and other extensions of web application are proposed.
Excercises for Data Acquisition for BEMS course
Fábik, Peter ; Havlíková, Marie (referee) ; Čejka, Miloslav (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with problematics of data collection and it's processing. It clarifies terms of data collection, signal processing, D/A and A/D convertors etc. Part of this thesis deals with NI USB 6008 hardware and applied software LabVIEW and Labwindows by National Instruments company. Next part of thesis deals with instruments used for analog data collestion for example meassuring systems, modules, cards and buses. This thesis contains two laboratory tasks of data collection area, operating with NI USB 6008 hardware by National Instruments company created in LabVIEW.
Management System for Facebook Marketing Campaigns
Stejskalová, Andrea ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to design and implement a management system for Facebook marketing campaigns. This system is designed to easily manage marketing campaigns of Facebook pages via Messenger. It also allows processing results to determine the following marketing goals. The system is written in PHP framework Nette. It was designed according to the requirements from the Q2 Interactive company because there was not found any suitable existing solution on the internet. The system will be used to manage Facebook campaigns.
Control of algal bioreactors
Rek, David ; Naď, Martin (referee) ; Máša, Vítězslav (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis discusses the matter of cultivation of microalgae in an artificially altered environment – bioreactor. The aim of the thesis is to determine and present the factors influencing the growth of microalgae and to find means of automated regulation of such factors. Nowadays, the majority of bioreactors are laboratory ones and are mostly being operated manually. The recent increase in demand for this technology results in many pilot-plant tests with a wide variety of microalgae. Tests such as these will be required to be automated to serve properly in future research. The thesis is based on professional literature and articles. The first part is to familiarize the reader with the wide number of potential applications of microalgae technology in various fields, such as the food industry, water treatment or separation of CO2 from ambient air or waste gas. The next segment presents the factors influencing the growth of microalgae and lastly the system of required equipment and sensors for automated operation is described. The bachelor’s thesis summarizes the important information necessary for the construction and unattended operation of microalgae bioreactor with respect to maximalization of productivity.
