Relationship between the parents of pre-scholars to the children book

This thesis deals with pre-reading literacy and focuses on the factors and actors that it develops. The first chapter deals with the theoretical definition and importance of education to the reading. The second chapter outlines the literary form of preschool education and how the literary education is included in the general educational program for preschool education. The third chapter is devoted to the primary and most important factor that the development of a child's reading act, and that is the family. It shows the possibilities of how children can relate to the books in the family to support the role of the relationship of their parents to read and stresses the importance of reading and storytelling in the family circle. The following chapter deals with the cooperation of nursery school and family in the development of a child's reading, closer is about the influence of teacher's personality and it offers opportunities to work with the book in full day kindergarten regime. The last two chapters of the theoretical part characterizes the specifics of children's literature and provide an overview of the typology of literature for preschool children. Albatros publishing as part of the modern media corporation and reading support for childern

In this thesis I try to outline running and production of the publishing house Albatros from 2002 on, after 2009 as a part of modern media company Albatros Media a. s. Within the framework of company presentation I also focus on its other member companies. The formation of edition profile is necessery to connect with describtion of present state of the book market and conditions for book publishing, in this case book publishing for children. Part of my thesis is also a presentation of competitors on the market with literature for children, outline of methods for reading support and consideration about how books published by Albatros after 2002 are succesfull. The aim of my thesis is primarily the describtion of the evolution of the publishing house Albatros after 2002 and its present state and also presentation of conditions in which the production is created.

Forms of contemporary czech illustration for the youngest readers

Kočová, K.: Forms of contemporary czech illustration for the youngest readers. /Thesis/ Prague 2011 - Charles University, Faculty of education, department of art education, 86 pages. The thesis deals with contemporary tendencies in illustrations for the youngest readers. It compare the work of contemporary Czech artists, who do illustrations for young children as a 'kitsch'. The thesis analyzes the phenomenon of 'kitsch' and utilizes concrete examples from books or magazines for children. The didactic section focuses on work with illustrations in the first grade of primary school. It explores children's reactions to the artwork of contemporary artists as well as the attitude of teachers to this art. Baobab Publishing Company-publishing companys profile, its media image and place on the Czech Book Market

Thesis "Baobab Publishing Company - publishing company ́s profile, its media image and place on the Czech book market" deals with an alternative publishing house specializing in child readers. Baobab has been on the market for ten years. In my work, I will present its past functioning and contribution to Czech readers during this period. The thesis describes the formation and evolution of publishing company, its profile, vision and direction. It gives an account of its editing programs and special events organized by the company. Space is dedicated to awards which Baobab has collected in the Czech Republic and abroad, as well as to the current issue of VAT increase. It may have a big impact on the Czech book market and on small publishers in particular. Furthermore, the work concentrates on the media image of the publishing company. The analysis is based on newspaper articles in Czech periodicals and evaluates how often and to what extent is media engaged in publishing activities. I also discusses the problem of the lack of journalists who would be continuously reporting on children's books, and would be able to evaluate them profesionally. The children´s book utilization during the kindergarten individual speech therapy care

The bachelor thesis ascertains possibilities for the usage of children's books in individual logopedic therapy in the pre-school education. The theoretical part consists of the description of the physiological speech development. Consequently definition of the term disturbed communication disability is given and its distinctive types are mentioned. Further the system of integration of the children with disturbed communication disability is presented along with its related legislation. The first part is concluded with the outline of children's literature subdivision. The practical part deals with the selection of particular titles of children's literature and the examination of their influence on children with different types of disturbed communication disability.
