Design of secure customer data center infrastructure
Linduška, Jan ; Svoboda Vlastimil, Ing., MBA (referee) ; Sedlák, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on the design of secure customer data center infrastructure. The thesis is divided into four main parts and starts by defining the problems and identifying the objectives. The second chapter deals with the theoretical part discussing the basic technologies and principles on which the infrastructure design is based. The third chapter analyses the current state of the facility and gives the requirements. In the fourth and final chapter, a new design is presented, based on the previous chapters, which is then compared in an economic evaluation. The thesis concludes with a summary of the resulting design, which will serve as documentation, template and input for the contractor selection process.
Data centre expansion proposal
Zvolenský, Samuel ; Martin,, ŽÍDEK (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design of a part of the data center from the point of view of its expansion. Due to the constant expansion of the internet, as such, more and more demands for data space are being made by individuals, companies, organizations, or institutions. Data centers take care of the continuous operation of computer technology, especially of the server type. Data centers are still developing not only in the Czech Republic and their expansion is desirable. The bachelor thesis contains theoretical background, analysis of the current state of the data center to provide the basic pillars of expansion and the actual proposed solution. The investor's requirements and procedures for elaborating the desired goal are included.
Grid and Cloud Computing
Began, Jakub ; Dobrovský, Ladislav (referee) ; Šeda, Miloš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with cloud and grid technologies. The first part discusses cloud computing technology, its components, infrastructure, models, advantages, disadvantages, and security risks. The following section describes computing and data grids, their function, use and security. The last part of the thesis shows an overview of the commercial market of cloud and grid services.
Detection of anomalies in data center network traffic
Korzhasbayeva, Leila ; Uher, Václav (referee) ; Burget, Radim (advisor)
Load tests of non-IT parts of data centers
Víteček, Aleš ; Mačák, Martin (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
The thesis "Load testing of non-IT parts data centers" deals with the theoretical analysis of data centers with a focus on non-IT part and theoretical preparation for measuring stress tests focused mainly on cooling. The theory is followed by a practical part of the PEC measurement by CATEGORY a.s .. This sample measurement carried out at the company premises clearly outlines the importance of performing similar tests. The measurement is thoroughly evaluated and suggestions are made to improve the operation. The next part of the practical part contains simulation of sample measurement. This simulation serves as a convenient addition and comparison. Also this simulation, the importance of similar stress tests can be justified.
Technological Infrastructure Design for Data Center
Strnad, Matěj ; Jordán, Vilém (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor’s thesis is a design of technological infrastructure for data center. It includes initial project analysis, design of structured cabling system and design of other related technology for cabling system and system for IP monitoring of environment within racks.
Virtualization of Public Administration Institute
Štěpánek, Ondřej ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Neuwirth, Bernard (advisor)
This thesis deals with the virtualization of servers and computer workstations, which has recently been the cornerstone of modern data centers. The practical part is focused on selecting the most appropriate solutions for specific problems in the implementation of virtualization administration. At the same time the present work evaluates the possibility for other organizations.
Design of Part of ICT Infrastructure Migration to the Data Center
Kočíbová, Iveta ; Čada, Lukáš (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
This Master Thesis deals with the design of part of ICT infrastructure migration of two sites of the international company to the external data center. It analyzes the current status of company ICT, describes the virtualization infrastructure and its operational costs. Main part of the Thesis describes a possible solution of migration of virtualization infrastructure to external data center by using project management tools and methods. Finally, the Thesis summarizes project benefits for the company.
Optical cables in modern data centres
Hejtmánek, Ondřej ; Křepelka, Václav (referee) ; Filka, Miloslav (advisor)
The essence of this study was to evaluate the issue of fiber optic and data cables in modern data centers. To compare and evaluate optimal design parameters were chosen as follows: Performance, reliability, installation time, flexibility, weight and size, requirements maintenance and training and the total price. The introductory chapters describes structure of the data center and network bases and storage technologies used in data centers. Particularly a local area network Ethernet and storage technology, DAS, SAN and SAS. Followed by a metallic and fiber optic cabling. For metallic cabling are used primarily PiMF cables. The fiber optic cabling emphasis was placed on multimode fiber OM3 and OM4. The main point of this study was to compare three types of installation metallic and three types of fiber optic cabling. MRJ-21 solution, pre-terminated system and standard installation of the so-called notch technique for metallic cables. For optical cabling has been chosen MPO solution, pre-terminated system and standard installation by welding fibers. In the end were compared and evaluated various solutions. The main focus was placed on the parameters of performance, reliability and installation time. The optical systems were rated the best solution MPO and preterminated system. Results were similar for the metallic cabling, where most of the parameters of the solution satisfies MRJ-21 followed by pre-terminated system. Standard installation for both types of cables in data centers too has not worked. All types of installations have been tested in practice and measured at different times during install.
Cooling of Data Center
Ostrezi, Jakub ; Katolický, Jaroslav (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
The aim of this work is to design data center placed into an ISO container used for transportation. Maximization of the space efficiency and minimization of the running costs are primary. This work also contains a measurement of data center electronic parts power consumption, a computational fluid dynamics model, a simulation of external thermal gains and a 3D model with basic technical drawings.
