This diploma thesis is aimed at assessing the existence of synergistic effects of the selected consolidated entities in the Czech Republic. Using specific financial metrics, the objective of this thesis is to identify the synergistic effects which occur among five consolidated entities operating in the area of property. Measurement and evaluation are performed pursuant to analysis of financial statements as well as qualitative data and are supposed to lead to assessing the existence of synergy in given sphere of national economy.

Importance of foreign languages for accepting to work position

This work shows us a fact, how knowledge of foreign languages is important for entrance to enterprise, witch we’re trying to reach with studying high school. Bachelor’s thesis describes memory, learning, forgetting and also methods, witch confirm prime thesis. One of these methods is submission of questionnaires to enterprises to find out requirements of employers and another are language tests. Tests will be written by students of first and third grades and tell language level. The last object of bachelor’s thesis is finding possibilities of keeping foreign language literacy.

The thesis focuses on the methods of assessment of synergy effects in a consolidated entity. The text includes a assessment of economic situation of the consolidated unit and analyzes a draft set of economic indicators suitable for assessing of synergy effect. Synergy effect is monitored in several selected areas through a comparison between the consolidated unit and the mother company. Results of the analysis of the draft indicators are assessed to determine whether synergies were achieved after the acquisition.

This diploma thesis is focused on an evaluation of existence of synergic effects within consolidating subjects. Consolidated groups are defined by theoretical knowledge. Suitable indicators for evaluation of achieved synergic effects are suggested in the next step. Synergic effects are being observed by comparison of parent undertaking and consolidated group in chosen sphere. Based on an analysis, results are evaluated if the synergic effects are achieved.

Compensation of harm in a group of companies

The master thesis deals with regulation of group of companies with emphasis on compensation of damages. In the introduction of the paper the law of group of companies is defined and the main purposes of the regulation are pointed out. The main aim of this legal field is to protect minority shareholders and creditors of subsidiaries through the system of compensation of damages. This primary obligation is supplemented by other legal institutes protecting vulnerable subjects. The paper also mentions leading concepts, which represent a template for the new system of regulation in the Act on commercial companies and cooperatives. The analysis of new rules concerning compensation of damages in a group of companies is determined by the structure of provisions in the Act on commercial companies and cooperatives. The most important is a new institute of influence, which protects the integrity and interests of the influenced subsidiary. In case that the parent company affects the subsidiary, the parent company shall compensate damages to the subsidiary and it shall be liable for the subsidiary's debts to its creditors.
