Židová, K., The impact of enactment of the new Civil Code on the activities of tour operators and their clients. The Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2014. This Bachelor thesis focuses on the comparison of current and previous enactment of the Civil Code, concretely, tour contract and valuation of the impact on tour operators and their clients. The first part of the thesis contains the definition of tourism and legislation dealing with this business area and in particular changes in the Civil Code. In the second part, the practical part, deals the work with examining and observing the impact of the new Civil Code on tour operators and their clients. Specific examples are analyzed and possible consequences of selected changes to the new Civil Code, which result mainly in the threat of clients' unjustified claims for indemnification of disrupted vacation, are described. The conclusion contains recommendations for tour operators and their customers which are created in the interest of prevention from problems.
Determining the marketing mix for a start-up travel agency aimed at the Belgian market

This thesis suggests a marketing mix consisting of 4 P's for a start-up travel agency. It created a product according to the quantitative research, n=140, and a qualitative research on the Belgian market. It includes the price of the product according to a competitor analysis, price expectation of the segment and a calculation of all costs connected with providing the service. It suggests also a promotion strategy aimed at the target audience and describes the place in terms point of sale dedicated to Belgian market.
Spa and wellness in the offer of travel agencies

The main aim is to evaluate the current supply of the travel agencies in products of the spa and wellness services in selected areas. Based on the analysis, design a new package of services for a selected segment of customers. The first step of thesis was studying literary sources and creating literary research. Futhermore, the bachelor thesis deals with the statistics concerning the spa tourism. Then, within my own research some controlled interviews and surveys were carried out.
The analysis of supply of travel agencies

The diploma thesis analyses supply of three major and three small regional Czech travel agencies regarding Croatia in terms of its width (number of offered accomodation facilities in particular sea resorts)and its compelexity (offer of packages for more demanding customers, sightseeing tours etc.) The thesis also contains general introduction of Croatia as one of the most popular summer destinations for Czech tourists as well as description and explanation of basic terms connected to tourism theory and functioning of travel agencies in general.
Consumer protection during services provided by travel agencies

Consumer protection is one of the most pressing topics in modern consumer times. As such, it has its pitfalls and its ensuring is not easy. Especially in field of providing services when satisfaction of consumers is often very subjective. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyse current situation of consumer protection in the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part basic terms, development process, current situation and forthcoming changes are described. The practical part is focused on analyse of advancing consumer protection in practice and on research among travel agencies and their clients.
Analysis of travel agencies' offer for selected segment - families with children

This thesis analyses one of the most significant segments of the tourism market, families with children. Its main aim is the analysis of three selected travel agencies' marketing mix with the emphasis on families with children. Analysis of the marketing mix made by the author of the thesis is summarised using the SWOT analysis. The travel agencies are compared in two model situations with similar conditions.
Potential of development the German tour operators on the Czech market.

The introductory chapter of the the thesis is focused on defining the basic concepts associated with entrepreneurship in tourism. Following part analyses the German travel agency market. The third chapter is devoted to the competitive environment of the Czech market. The aim is to verify the hypothesis that in the Czech Republic there is potential for the entry of German tour operators on the Czech market. The method of study is a survey at the end of the work that refused the original sentence and proved that on the Czech market is not sufficient in case of development potential.
