Financial analysis of refrasil s. r. o.

The purpose of this thesis is to conduct a financial analysis of the company Refrasil s. r. o. Refrasil s. r. o is a subsidiary of Třinecké železárny a. s. The thesis comprises of two main parts. In the first theoretical part, I will try to explain concepts and indicators which are used in my thesis. The methods of my thesis are vertical and horizontal analysis, analysis of ratio indicators, and at the end of my thesis I will calculate bankruptcy and credibility models. In the practical part I will briefly introduce the company and I will apply theoretical framework of my academic work, which will be combined with publicly available data and carry out financial analysis. Horizontal and vertical analysis is calculated for the period between 2010 to 2014 with using chain index. In the next section I will compare the firm with competition and subsequently I will calculate bankruptcy and credibility models. In the conclusion of the thesis I will be able to make overall evaluation of the company´s financial statements and, moreover, to make evaluation of its main competitors.

Financial analysis of company Ryor, a.s.

The aim of this Bachelor´s Thesis is a financial analysis of the company Ryor, a. s. between years 2010 to 2014. The thesis is divided into two parts. The methodological part include general procedures, terms methods, formulas and data sources, that are necessary for financial analysis. The methods will applied to the selected company in the practical part. The practical part will include horizontal and vertical analysis, financial ratios, working capital, bankruptcy and credibility models and intercompany comparison. In the conclusion, all the results summarized, reviewed the financial status of the company and suggested measures to improve the economic situation of the company.

Aim of Bachelor's Thesis is to assess the financial health of the company in years 2009 - 2014 and compare results of the analysis with competing company in energy sector. The bachelor thesis is composed of two parts. The first theoretic part explains the basic methods of financial analysis, its indicators and presents data sources. At the beginning of the practical part is introduced business sector and company of my choice and then is methodology applied to the company. The conclusion contains a summary of the results and their assessment.

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is a comprehensive evaluation of the financial situation of the company Kofola a.s. Financial analysis evaluates 5 years in the period from 2008 to 2012. Theoretical part introduces the basic concepts of financial analysis. This part also describes different indicators evaluating financial health of the company, Du Pont analysis, EVA and explains bankruptcy and credibility models. Those methods are then applied on the financials of the company Kofola a.s. in the practical part and the results are suitably commented on. The conclusion contains a summary of the comprehensive evaluation of the situation and suggested recommendations.

The aim of this Bachelor's Thesis "Financial analysis of BEST, a.s." is to analyze and evaluate the financial situation of the company BEST, a.s. from the year 2008 to 2012. Financial analysis is performed from an external point of view based on publicly available information. It contains an introduction, theoretical part, practical part and conclusion. The theoretical part deals with different instruments, indicators and methods of financial analysis. In the practical part individual methods of the financial analysis are applied to the surveyed enterprise. The conclusion summarizes the most important findings from the practical part, assessed the overall situation of the company BEST, a.s. and procedures designed to improve.

Financial analysis of Cray Valley Czech co., Ltd.

The objective of this bachelor's thesis is to realize a financial analysis of Cray Valley Czech co., Ltd. over the years 2008 -- 2012. The theoretical part will provide complete description of methodological processes which will be subsequently practically used in the analytical part. The analytical part will contain the outputs of all the calculations, evaluation and comments. The core of this thesis will be represented by horizontal and vertical analysis of the financial statements followed by working capital analysis and evaluation of the fulfillment of the balance rules. Then there will be a section dedicated to profitability, activity, liquidity and debt ratios followed by calculation of economic value added. The last pages of the analytical part will include evaluation of selected creditworthy and bankruptcy prediction models, thanks to which we are able to assess the financial situation of the analyzed subject and to predict its future development. The final part will summarize the results and if possible, recommendations for the future will be given.

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate financial situation of company Kofola a.s. and its development in the years 2009 to 2013 on the basis of financial analysis, to interpret its results, to find out the causes of these results and suggest eventual recommendations for improvement in financial performance of the company. The work is divided into two main parts. Basic terms related to the financial analysis and methods used in the analytic part are described in the first part. The second part consists of presentation of analyzed company Kofola a.s., afterwards there are presented results of calculations and their explanation along with comments. The work is finished with the evaluation of the overall situation and summary of findings.

Financial Analysis of Company SPORTEN, a.s.

Goal of this Bachelor's Thesis is to evaluate the financial state of company SPORTEN, a.s. according to methods of the financial analysis. Subject of the analysis are years 2009 -- 2013 and the continuous progress of financial situation of the company based on its financial statements. The analysis consists of absolute ratios, financial ratios, capital assets pricing model, economic value added, Du Pont analysis, Kralick quick test, Altman bankruptcy model and a comparison with a competitor. The thesis is divided into theoretical part, where the basic terms and used methods are explained, and into practical part, where they are applied to the actual situation in the company. Based on this thesis, it is possible to state that the company is in tougher years of its existence, however, it is still profitable and further improvement of the situation may come. Nevertheless, the company will still be strongly influenced by unforeseeable external impacts, mainly by the intensity of winter season.

Financial analysis of Jihlava Brewing Company, Inc.

The aim of this bachelor thesis titled "Financial analysis of Jihlava Brewing Company, Inc" is to assess the financial position of the company on the basis of a financial analysis for the period 2008 - 2012 and compare situation of Jihlava Brewing Company with both the industry and the competitive firm. The financial analysis is prepared for the purposes of the owners, thus focusing on profit of the company. The source of information for the development of the necessary calculations are publicly available financial statements of the company and the statements of the companies included in the comparison. For analysis of the company were used horizontal and vertical analysis of the balance sheet, balance sheet rules, the effect of financial leverage, analysis of financial ratios, economic value added, comparison with the business sector, inter-company comparisons and the use of bankruptcy and credibility models. In the conclusion of this work is a summary of the most important results and recommendations to improve the financial situation and the overall financial health of the company Jihlava Brewing Company, Inc. I assess The overall financial condition of the brewery Jihlava, Inc. rather positively. Although the Jihlava Brewery Company, Inc. has not yet provided added value to its owners, the value of ratios indexes are positive and relatively stable. Acquisition of Lobkowicz Brewing Company Group, Inc. was successful and the Jihlava rewery was saved from liquidation. The biggest weakness of Brewery Jihlava, is high time of receivables collection and low return of equity.

Ability of creditworthy and bankruptcy models to predict problems in the enterprise

This thesis deals with analysis of creditworthy and bankruptcy models. The aim is to analyze how are individual creditworthy and bankruptcy models able to predict problems in the company. Creditworthy and bankruptcy models are applied to 25 companies, which were facing problems during their life. These are mainly limited liability companies, but also there are joint-stock companies. A total of five sectors is analyzed. Manufacturing industry, construction, wholesale and retail trade, transportation and warehousing and professional, scientific and technical activities. Five creditworthy and bankruptcy models are analyzed: Altman model, model IN05, Taffler model, Springate analysis and balance analysis system according to Rudolf Doucha, which is used in two variants.
