Influence of low-cost banks on banking trade in the CR

The aim of the thesis is to analyse in what ways the entry of the low-cost banks in the banking market in the Czech Republic influenced the fee policy of the large banks. The intermediate aim of the thesis is to find the most appropriate bank for a particular client. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the situation and the development of the banking in the market economy, with the banking system, the financial market, the general overview and the bank products specification. Basic terms closely connected with the bank account are explained. In the practical part low-cost banks working in the Czech banking market are introduced. Here is where their basic market results are compared and the development of the clients number of the low-cost banks in the course of time is presented. In the analytical part the comparison of bank fees related to the use of the current account is shown on the examples of model clients (passive, average and active client) with the three largest banks in the banking market in the Czech Republic before the entry and after the entry of low-cost banks. Hereafter the fees between particular banks on the present conditions in the market are compared. From the analysis follows that the most suitable institution offering the considered services free are Fio Bank and Air Bank with the profile Passive Client and UniCredit Bank and Equa bank with the profiles Average and Active Client.
Comparison of bank accounts for students in the CR

This bachelor theses concerns the comparison of the bank accounts offered by the bank institutions, which are intended for students in the Czech Republic. The main object is to indentify, which of them is the best, according to specified criteria using the answers of the asked students. In the theoretical part are defined the terms relating to the topic of the bachelor thesis, as well as is described the development of the banking from its beginning, through the Bank system of the Czech Republic, to contemporary trends and offered products and services. The practical part is based on the survey, from which results arose four most used student accounts (ČS - FRESH účet, ČSOB - Studentské konto, KB - Konto G2.2, GE Money Bank - Genius Student), and furthermore were discovered importance of the criteria, which determine the choice of the account. Chosen accounts for students are analyzed according to each criteria, thus multi-criteria analysis, on which basis, the best product is chosen. Recommended account for students is Studentské konto from ČSOB, which offers basic services within the account management with minimal fees.
The selection of a suitable bank account for students in the Czech Republic

The aim is to evaluate the possibility of having a bank account suitable for students in the Czech Republic using the multicriterial analysis and thus identify the most suitable bank account for students. In the theoretical part the author focuses on the development of the banking sector, current situation on the banking market, the general issues of the Czech banking sector, explanation of basic terms and states the students banking accounts and free of charge banking accounts. In the practical part the author focuses on the students banking accounts and free of charge banking accounts, summarizes the findings primarily from the websites of the banks. Based on the survey is created the representative student for the unification of the findings and the weights of the selected criteria according to which the banks are evaluated. The gathered information is then analysed using a multicriterial analysis. There is no possibility to clearly determine the best option, because there is no account that would be the best in all selected criteria. Due to this the four variants of methods are used for the identification of the best account, where the average of all the methods is used at the end. Specifically, account called U konto pro mladé from Unicredit bank is ranked in average in the first place. This is due to the fact that there is no fee for any of the items.
Optimization of Operating and Financial Costs in Retail Business

Diploma thesis topic is cost optimization in a business company. This title means endeavor to modify costs in order to reach better company managing. Firstly, it is necessary to gain theoretical knowledge about field of costs, then it is possible to analyze costs and design suitable solution for a company. The first chapter contains theoretical findings. Second chapter analyses costs and its task is to lay out that fields, which are problematic or hides huge savings potential. The third chapter contains designed procedures which, as a result, should lead to savings in particular fields.
Usage of information technologies for optimalization of payment transactions

It proposes suitable ways of optimalization which in the upshot lead to a better exploitation of information technologies and simplification for the human operator.

Analysis of student bank accounts using the method of Mystery Shopping

Subject of this Bachelor's Thesis is analysis of student bank accounts in Czech republic. The main target was to asses the best student bank account in the country. Best bank account was evaluated based on financial convenience and on the quality of services provided by particular banks. The Thesis is divided into two parts. Theoretical part generally specifies basic concepts used to deal with this subject, is focused on protecting consumer banking and defines marketing research. Practical part describes process of research undertaken in various banks in Czech republic using the method of Mystery Shopping and furthermore contains it's results and recommendations. The outcome of this research is an overview of student bank accounts and their comparison by means of model examples.

Credit card payment is today one of the most spread method of buying stuff and services on-line. One of the main goals of every merchant in a payment process is to secure these transaction corretly so that customer's personal information couldn't be misused and his bank account couldn't be manipulated. The security of this type of buying devide society into two main groups -- one that question it and you can feel a fear there, and the other group, where people willfully claim, that paying on-line with a credit card is absolutely safe these days. This work deals with the possibilities of on-line payment's security, defines instruments for security improving, the present and future world known trends, and introduce methods, by which fraud can gain and misuse your personal information.
