Family house with cinema room
Kurka, Štěpán ; Pobucká, Slávka (referee) ; Sobotka, Jindřich (advisor)
As part of the bachelor's thesis, project documentation was developed at the construction implementation level within the partially required scope. The documentation includes a project for a family house located in the northern part of the village of Kobeřice in Silesia. The new building is integrated into an already developed area of the village and is set into the terrain, taking advantage of the sloping land for the operational solution. The building is designed as a single dwelling unit for permanent residence by five people, with technical facilities and garage space. Access to the dwelling unit is provided from the west side to the first above-ground floor. From a material perspective, the building is designed using predominantly ceramic blocks for both load-bearing and non-load-bearing vertical structures. The building envelope is insulated with an ETICS system to reduce energy consumption. The construction is based on monolithic foundation strips with a base concrete slab. The ceiling structures in the building are made of monolithic reinforced concrete slabs. The building is roofed with two flat single-layer roofs at different height levels. Relaxation and exercise center
Kalábková, Ladislava ; Obrtlík, Jan (referee) ; Májek, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on the design of an administrative building on Soukenická Street in the bustling part of Brno. Currently, the plot houses buildings with zero utilization, deteriorating structures, and a parking lot. The entire area is unattractive, has limited use, and negatively affects the aesthetics of the intersection of two important streets – Soukenická and Hybešova. The architectural design includes the creation of an attractive corner building with multifunctional use, an underground garage, and a connection to the existing Malá Amerika building, which could have a new functional purpose as a commercial and restaurant passage or art studios. The administrative building offers a ground floor with a restaurant, bistro, café, and shop. Spaces are variable, allowing owners to customize them according to their needs. Additional above-ground floors are equipped with offices, both for larger groups and individuals. The seventh floor features a green accessible roof, a café, and meeting and presentation rooms. The bachelor thesis delves into the details of the administrative building section housing the main staircase with an elevator. Simultaneously, the design incorporates the connection of Soukenická Street with Malá Amerika through a passage in the proposed structure, aiming for potential future use of the building. The work stems from the architectural design studio in the second year, focusing on public structures.
