Measuring of Vehicle Instant Velocity
Štencel, Jakub ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
The theoretical part of this paper summarizes the methods for motion analysis in an image. Inspected in detail are the methods used for motion detection in the image sequences. The practical part is focused on finding the significant points in the image (the targeting reticles on the body of the vehicle) which are then used to calculate the speed of the vehicle.

The thesis is concentrated on the topic of next generation access networks. In the thesis, first of all, is conducted the analysis of the current state of knowledge with special focus on current technical and legislative developments and trends in access networks. The thesis describes the current structure of access networks and analyzes the current state of the issue of access technology. Measurement and testing methods for its verification depending on the type of network or operation of IP services are also described. Subsequently, the dissertation presents mathematical methods, that can be used in order to assess the access network model. In addition, recommendations and methods for monitoring and modelling access network data are evaluated. In particular, the subject of interest in this thesis is the issue of traffic intensity. The thesis presents a proposal for the construction of a mathematical modelling for the traffic profile and its application.
Measurements results assessment and emission limits
Čech, Martin ; Jedlička, Filip (referee) ; Dvořák, Radek (advisor)
Main content of this task is summary and explanation of main methods, which can be used to evaluation the results from measuring of pollutants in combustion gases. The way which should be most acceptable for our datas will be consequently used in a simply example. There will be mentioned the importace of chosing the entering datas and their dependence on outer conditions. Another chapter will be devoted to emission standarts of main pollutants in Czech republic and in chosen world countries too. There will be mentioned the historical developement of these standarts and hypothesis to the future about this question too.
Genetic Relatedness Analysis of Approximate Circuits
Krejčík, Vojtěch ; Mrázek, Vojtěch (referee) ; Sekanina, Lukáš (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is analyzing a large library of approximate circuits (EvoApproxLib) which was created using an evolutionary algorithm and used as a source of genetic data for the purposes of this thesis. More specifically it is a relatedness search in a file containing 24 912 8-bit approximate multipliers which were created by evolution from six different fully functioning parent implementations of multiplication. Gate counts and existence of 16 specific subcircuits were used as relatedness indicators. Various classifiers for assigning multipliers to one of six classes corresponding to parent implementations were trained based on these indicators. A classification success rate of up to 77% was achieved using said indicators. The results of this work show that combinations of specific subcircuits are a strong indicator for identifying which parent circuit the given approximate circuit comes from.
Deep Neural Network Optimization
Bažík, Martin ; Wiglasz, Michal (referee) ; Sekanina, Lukáš (advisor)
The goal of this thesis was to design, implement and analyze various optimizations of deep neural networks, in order to improve the observed parameters. The optimizations are based on modification of the data representation used by neural network operations and searching for the best combination of its hyper-parameters. The convolutional neural networks used for these optimizations were built on LeNet-5 architecture and trained on MNIST, CIFAR-10, and SVHN datasets. The neural networks and their optimizations were implemented within Tiny-dnn library using C++ programming language.
Vibrodiagnostics of electrical machines
Boháček, Daniel ; Vítek, Ondřej (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
This thesis deals with methods of vibration analysis in electric rotating machines. From the beginning, it is necessary to explain the basic concepts and introduce the issue of vibration. Next time, the work is focused on sources of vibration in electrical machines. Defects on electric rotating machines causing vibrations are described. Sensing is performed using sensors of deflection, speed and acceleration. The measured signal needs to be adjusted and filters, approximations and sampling will cover this in the next chapter. The main objective is the methods of analysis, which include the best known in the field of frequency analysis (FFT) and the envelope method in the time domain. This includes other methods such as Kurtosis factor, Crest factor, etc. There is also a basic block diagram for measuring vibrations. This block diagram is programmed and has a graphical user interface. The last part is an evaluation of the measured data of the engines.
Statistical analysis of images from optical coherence tomography with retinal applications
Kelča, Jan ; Slávik, Vladimír (referee) ; Kolář, Radim (advisor)
This work briefly describes the anatomy of the eye and retinal structure, including its pathological changes. The work is focused on the characteristics and the principle of optical coherence tomography and its application in ophthalmology in conjunction with statistical analysis of retinal images. The practical part explains problems of statistical analysis retinal images using histograms representing the distribution of gray shades and approximation of functions, which are stretched exponential function and Nakagami function. Suitable optimalization are obtained parameters, from which are formed parametric maps illustrating the distribution of gray levels in different areas of interest.
Determination of Fatigue Characteristics of Concrete Using Fracture-Mechanics Parameteres
Šimonová, Hana ; Králik,, Juraj (referee) ; Terzijski, Ivailo (referee) ; Bílek,, Vlastimil (referee) ; Keršner, Zbyněk (advisor)
The topic of this PhD. thesis is the issue of determining fatigue characteristics of selected cement-based composites. First, the history of fatigue of metal is mentioned, and some basic notions related to fatigue are clarified. The thesis also summarizes current research in the field of cement-based composites fatigue, and failure mechanisms of plain concrete during static and dynamic tests are described. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the evaluation of static and dynamic experiments’ results with extensive series of C30/37 and C45/55 class concrete specimens. In order to achieve relevant fatigue test evaluation which takes into account the age of the specimens, a new correction procedure of the data measured based on the approximation of the basic fracture-mechanics parameters of tested materials over time was suggested and verified. The annexes of this thesis present complete data obtained during static and dynamic experiments.
Analogue emulators of fractional-order circuits
Kubát, Pavel ; Langhammer, Lukáš (referee) ; Dvořák, Jan (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with circuits contain fractional-order elements. The first part of this paper deals with this problem, there were also described methods of design fractionalorder elements and types of circuits containing the fractiona-order elements which can be applied in practice. Used active elements for practical part can be found in the second chapter. Design of GIC circuits and implementation of fractional-order element inside the circuit are shown in the last chapture. Parasitic analysis and stability of frequency filter containing fractional-order element had been also described.
Digitally controlled multifunction filter
Hubka, Patrik ; Kubíček, Michal (referee) ; Ševčík, Břetislav (advisor)
he bachelor thesis deals with the modern design of analog filter where the digital potentiometers to control circuit parameters are used. The main purpose of this thesis is to create a fully digitally controlled filter at frequencies above 1 MHz based on LT1568 integrated circuit. The main circuit parameters such as cut-off frequency, gain, filter order and type of approximation function are digitally controlled. Analysis of parasitic effects of digital potentiometers is included. The integrated circuit functionallity is demonstrated by LTspice circuit simulator. Finally, the experimental measurement results for various circuit parameters setting are included.
