Needs Analysisof PARTYHARMreduction programs'clients

In the nightlife settings the prevalence of drug use is higher than in the general population. Worldwide, substance use is becoming normal and acceptable in this context and the individual substances are combined with each other. Although in the world number of services that provide harm reduction in the nightlife environment increases and programmes are supported, in the Czech Republic these specialized services are insufficient, they are not a stable component of the system of addiction care and these services are in the national drug policy in a marginal area. One of the specialized program is PARTYHARMreduction. The aim of this thesis is to identify and analyze the needs of clients of this service and if the interventions are covering these needs and how to improve this program to cover them. The method of data collection was a structured questionnaire with the assistance of program staff. Research sample selection is a combination of total selection and institutional selection. The analysis was made through the statistics program SPSS and combination of three methods in qualitative research. Proposal of addiction interventions for employees of Railway Infrastructure Administration (RIA) Needs analysis and implementation possibilities of preventive measures

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the needs of employer in the field of addictology- side. Secondary targets include: a) analysis of training needs of employees enrolled in the employer's training program for the design of educational-preventive project intended for these RIA (Railway Infrastructure Agency) employees; b) analysis of UIC recommendations addictological interventions aimed for management of safety risks associated with the use of alcohol and other substance abuse at work; c) analysis of implementation possibilities of the recommendations according to the previous point. An analysis of documents - Czech legislation, recommendations UIC - focused on measures regulating the use of alcohol and other substance abuse at work and addictological interventions proposed by UIC. Knowledge questionnaire for employees participated in employer's training program was prepared. Respondents were not informed in advance about the offer to participate in the research, they weren't informed about the addictology knowledge test. During at about 60 minutes there were completed 3100 answers from 31 respondents without training with 40 - 70% correct results (in average 53.4 %). Draft of the System of Evaluation of Employees

The thesis deals with a most topical issue which is the staff evaluation relating to the remuneration. The purpose of the thesis is to propose a staff evaluation system. The first part gives a definition of the evaluation, a detailed description of the meaning and the goals of the evaluation, the best-known methods of the evaluation and component steps leading to the implementation of the evaluation system. The research represents a proposed evaluation system which was introduced to a company. The proposal was gradually modified according to the requirements of the owners and managers. Some reactions and pieces of knowledge relating to the evaluation system were found out during the process itself. The evaluation system has been completely worked out and is prepared to be implemented. The thesis is a kind of qualitative research. The design is represented by an action research.
Needs Assessment of towns, schools and churches involved in Fairtrade towns campaign

The thesis provides a need assessment of towns, schools and local religious congregations that joined the Fairtrade Towns campaign. It is framed into a broad topic beginning with global issues, going through the concept of fair trade to the subject of this research. The author reflects his approach and explains why the system theory and theory of autopoiesis was chosen as an interpretive framework for analysing data. Having regard to the methods, the thesis uses needs assessment approach. Its interpretive possibilities are later used. The author focuses on the formulation of hypotheses before the implementation of qualitative interviews as the main research method. Final hypotheses served as a guide for research. The author performs analysis of available resources and uses his own quantitative data analysis findings that used confirmatory factor analysis and logistic regression. Qualitative interviews were conducted and thematic analysis was made. Than aforementioned analyses approaches were used too. The needs of subjects that joined the campaign were found out, described and assessed.

Consumption rooms for drug users - Needs analysis

Consumption rooms for drug users are implemented as a tool of tertiary prevention by a number of European countries. These services are based on harm reduction philosophy. The objectives of these programs include minimizing health risks, overdose prevention, motivating users to change their lifestyle. Consumption room has also effect in reduction of negative effects associated with open drug scenes such as the drug consumption in public places. The thesis is about a need analysis of a theoretical application of a consumption room in the capital city Prague. After a theoretical introduction, which introduces the background of the project, the project objectives and examples of foreign practice presented in a literature, are presented the results of qualitative research. The aim of the research, conducted by the technique of semi-structured interview, is to answer the basic questions of needs and expectations of potential users, experts in the treatment and prevention of addiction and other persons who may be considered as involved from the perspective of discussion about consumption. Fulfillment of the qualification requirements for the social settlement´s staff members in the South Bohemian region.

The Bachelor Thesis is concentrated on the fulfilment of the qualification requirements of the personnel of social departments of the municipalities in the South-Bohemian Region. Its theoretical part deals with the professional profile of a social worker, their roles and competences, the possibilities of social and further education of social workers. Its practical part contains the analysis of professional qualification of social workers before the accession to employment, analysis of their current education degree achieved, analysis of their current studies and the possibilities of further professional development. The aim of the thesis was to find out how the social workers meet the qualification requirements prescribed by the act on social services. Partial aim was to analyze the situation in the possibilities of further development of social workers.
