Private and alternative education in the Czech Republic

TITLE: Private and alternative schools in the Czech Republic SUMMARY: The thesis describes current status of private and alternative schools whereas private schools are considered as an alternative to the public school system as well. It tackles the specific aspects of alternative pedagogical programs, describes common and distinctive features and sees into the positives and negatives of the choice of alternative education for parents and pupils. The theoretical part focuses on private schools. It inquires into the qualitative difference between private and public schools and deals with the conditions of education for both pupils and teachers. The Realisation of Health Support in School Educational Programmes in Connection with Present Basic Schools Reality

This diploma work includes the analysis of 30 school educational programmes. The school programmes were chosen by chance in basic schools of Central Bohemian Region. The study finds out how the health support is realised in school educational programmes. The results of the work show how the subject matter of Health education is realised in school educational programmes and how i tis included in separate school forms. It also uses the real informatik and knowledge of teachers and deals with the topic of social - pathological problems.
Human and social capital in primary education

The thesis contains a theoretical insight into the studies that the issue of human and social capital involved from different perspectives, engage their evolution over time, their measurability, examine them, and complemented with other evidence. This part contains relation of human and social capital in relation to the aging of the human population and focuses on the human capital of older workers. Theoretical study ends with an insight into the basic education, the role of teacher and seeks to provide information on surveys already conducted in the area of education, which in the application of serve for me compared to the data obtained from the survey. The application part is focused on the teaching staff of primary schools. Education in currently globalized world, changing not only its content but also methods and forms of work. Irreplaceable role in this process is played by educators. To meet all the demands placed on them, it is essential that they pay close attention to their continuing education and sharing of acquired education, which is essential to the growth of human and social capital, because they are interacting. The work examines selected sample of teachers and approaches to this issue by detecting what is education motivates them whether they are satisfied with the benefits of educational events, what type of education they prefer etc. Working findings further analyzes looking for relationships between age and sex educators according to the hypotheses . Educator is someone who is in constant contact with other people. This of course also formalizes its attitudes and experiences. As a human being perceives the views of society and shapes on her own views, which it subsequently may influence the exercise of his profession. Therefore, in this part of the thesis is dedicated to exploring and bridging social capital, which determines the size of the circle of people with whom the teachers generally meet and interact. The last research that is possible to find thesis, it is perceptions of social status of teachers by themselves.
One hundred years history of education in Volyně in the years 1912-2012

This bachelor thesis deals with history of education in Volyně in the period 1912 ? 2012. Due to vastness of such topic it is focused on history of primary education in Volyně. The time period is divided into smaller stages referring to our historical stages. Each small stage contains brief characteristic of the period and what happened in the history of school. This work describes changes in the education system relating to political development, various anniversaries, celebrations and changes arising from changing time. All these factors had an impact on functioning of school. In this thesis we can also find some peculiarities from the periods and their reflection in the school life. This work takes sources from school chronicles and chronicles of the town of Volyně. The bachelor thesis describes the history of education in Volyně.
Rating of fulfillment of statutory duties by elementary school which arise from tax procedure

This bachelor thesis focuses on the taxation of allowance organizations established for basic education. I deal with the basic education system and its legislation. I also deal with allowance organizations established by municipal authorities and their financing, budgets and funds. I examined tax returns of concrete elementary school and then I compared these tax returns with actual tax legislation in my bachelor thesis. I found out that the application of tax rules is very difficult in the case of elementary school due to its main and collateral activity. There are some imperfections in tax returns of the elementary school. These imperfections are caused by misapplication of tax legislation.
Personnel work at Primary school

Financing of elementary education in the Czech republic: case study

In theoretical part of my work I describe the principles and specifics of economy and financing of education in the Czech republic. I attend to budget and the economy result of schools. In the practical part of my work I attend to the concrete primary school - ZS Touzim, district of Karlovy Vary. On the basis of analysis of financing and economy of the school in 2007 and 2008 I evaluate its economy and I suggest other possible sources of finances. In the end I mention a general evaluation of financing education in the Czech republic.
