VGA image generation with microcontroller
Polášek, Jan ; Šebesta, Jiří (referee) ; Fedra, Zbyněk (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is concerned with generating image in VGA format using microcontroller. It’s aimed at microcontrollers series AVR from producer Atmel. Project contains VGA interface description, solves its connection to microcontroller’s output ports, further it contains connection diagram of image generation device with microcontroller Atmel ATmega324P, that I constructed during work on this project.. In project are analyzed fundamentals of image generating in microcontroller, synchronization of image using microcontroller’s internal counter, creating of simple graphic images and text and principles of generating colour images. Generation of text is analyzed in details, including source code for microcontroller. The result of this bachelor‘s thesis is functional image generator device.
Miniature PC monitor realization
Nečesaný, Jaroslav ; Povalač, Karel (referee) ; Frýza, Tomáš (advisor)
Objective of the Master Thesis was to bring in two solutions of miniature PC display. One of them uses the VGA signal as the source of the data. The second uses USB for communication. Display using USB was chosen to be produced. Device contains LCD screen, SD card reader and audio DAC with mini speaker. Software running on the PC allows user to watch part of the screen of the computer. Position and size of the chosen part may be varied. The display may be controlled by touch screen. One part of the software running on PC is a simple video player.
Application interface for handling graphics in VHDL language
Vlček, Petr ; Kosina, Petr (referee) ; Bohrn, Marek (advisor)
The objective of this thesis is creating interface for the picture generator. The interface generates a VGA signal with possibility of 4bit color depth. The interface controls two chips of one port SRAM IS61 witch is supplied with Digilent Spartan-3 Starter Kit Board and comunicates trought FIFO blocks based on the shift register principle. Graphics interface generates lines and secondary forms, circles and secondary forms, fills area up and controles 2D transformations of picture.
Bus analyzer with Spartan 3
Galia, Jan ; Valach, Soběslav (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with designing and realisation of a bus analyzer. The analyzer is programmed into Spartan-3AN XC3S50AN programmable logic device. The design includes a SRAM parallel memory and a graphical LCD display. Data output is realized through USB, microSD memory card and VGA. The thesis also describes the use of a software microprocessor PicoBlaze for the control of the LCD display and user interface. The last part deals with a test application using an 8-bit microcontroller connected to an alphanumeric display and a discussion over the results.
Processor Pineapple One
Szkandera, Filip
This thesis deals with the design, simulation and making of a RISC-V based processoronly out of descrete logic components. The final product is a macrocontroller that integrates a processor, program memory, data memory, graphics card and an input-output ports in a tower structuremade of nine circuit boards. This thesis also describes a simple shell application programmed in a Clanguage, that runs natively on this device.
Beamforming Circuits For L-Band Antenna
Kalina, Ladislav
This project describes the design of beamforming circuits for L-band antenna. The first part contains designed concept of a phase shifter. Other part consists block scheme of the phase shifter with real components and description of their basic functions. The next part implies theoretical calculation of possible settings. Last part includes realization of phase shifter and automatical measurement of circuit.
Synthesis of the electronically reconfigurable frequency filters
Michalička, Filip ; Dvořák, Jan (referee) ; Langhammer, Lukáš (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with design of reconection-less electronically reconfigurable filter structures which have single input and single output using unconventional active elements, which have ability to adjust one of their parameter e.g. gain or transconductance. The first part describes basic parameters of frequency filters, the division of filters by frequency transfer response and used circuit elements, their operational modes, the principle of reconnection-less electronically reconfiguration and the circuit design method MUNV. Second part describes all active elements used in the proposal of filters, their properties and the implementation using existing transistor-level models. The third part contains the design of three reconnection-less electronically reconfigurable filters and the simulations results obtained from simulation programs OrCAD Capture and PSpice. The obtained results were compared with theoretical behaviour. This part also contains results of these analyses: sensitivity, parasitic, Monte Carlo and temperature to determine the behaviour in varied cases.
Beam Shaping Circuits for L Band Antenna
Kalina, Ladislav ; Pítra, Kamil (referee) ; Urbanec, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis contains design of beamforming network designed for passive radar antennas. The first part contains theory of passive radars and beamforming networks. The next part implies design of beamforming network at the block digram level. Then are choosed circuits for amplitude and phase control, including the design of control communication. It follows by realization of IQ phase shifter and his automatic measurement. Based on this results is phase shifter adjusted and PCB of 2x2 beamforming network is designed. Last part includes design of control application (Matlab) and control program for STM32F407VG microcontroller.
Extension interfaces for FPGA developent board
Čáslavský, František ; Pavlík, Michal (referee) ; Bohrn, Marek (advisor)
This work deals with design of expansion modules for development kit Spartan-3 Starter kit. The objective of the work is to design modules with audio input and output and modules with video input and output. This work consists of exploring possibilities of connecting the modules, designing the modules, choosing suitable components for production of the modules, manufacturing prototypes, creating of software and user manuals. These modules will be utilized in lessons and will contribute to the possibility of exploring the VHDL programming language in greater depth.
Controlling of programmable analogue circuit
Sobotka, Josef ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Vrba, Kamil (advisor)
This work deals with the design of the control software for the programmable analog circuit adjustable by means of a computer via the serial interface for the computer, as well as for programming the microcontroller. In addition, analyses the internal structure of programmable analog circuit on which it is proposed to further control, design of printed circuit boards for final programming and test equipment and measurement of the basic parameters of the circuit (transmission and phase frequency characteristics of parts and units).
