Fatigue and injury in football

Title: Fatigue and injury in football Objectives: The main goal of my work is analysis of injury causes in selected clubs from ČFL and division B at season 2011/2012 and their comparison with the reasons from official studies. Methods: Questionnaire investigation Results: Overall from the entire research sample was stated 79 injuries in monitored period, which required overall 828 days of treatment, what is 10,48 days on injury in average. The most frequent injury in ČFL is the groin injury, which make up 13% of all injuries. The most common injury, in 23 % is contusion. The most common cause of all injuries representing with 30% collision. The highes number of injuries occur between 61 - 75 minute of the match. Title: Competitive Balance of the selected football leagues in Europe, their development and comparison. Goals: Determining the competitive balance in the six top European football competitions. This is a Czech Gambrinus liga, Dutch Eredivisie, German Bundesliga, Austrian Bundesliga, Ukrainian Premier liha Hungarian OTP liga, compare to competition and an outline of the development trend. Methods: The standard deviation of percentage wins, correlation coefficient, the presentation of results based on percentages, graphs, trends. Results: All results are presented in the analytical part of the work, verify predetermined hypotheses and are an important source of comparison for each event and outline trends. Champions League - History and present

This bachelor work is dealing with the Champions League. Targets of this work are to summarize the history of the Champions League and to describe its structure. Next things I explore are factors which lead to success in the Champions League and what prestige has the Champions League between people. The first part of the work is dedicated to the structure of the competition. In the next part is included European Champion Club's Cup, the predecessor of the Champions League. In the next part I summarize every single season of the Champions League. Then I explored whether favorites are successful in the event, whether the richest clubs tend to win the Champions League more likely, whether it is better to play either offensively or defensively, I explore whether there is an increase or a decrease of scored goals and whether winners of the Champions League are successful in their national league. I also give an outcome of questionnaire focus on popularity of the Champions League between people.
Corporate Social Responsibility in profesional football clubs

Main focus of this thesis is social responsibility in professional football clubs of Europe. The theoretical part first of all describes the concept of corporate social responsibility with the most important characteristics and then explains some specifics of sport in economic terms. In the last part of the theoretical part offers an introduction of international and European football associations. In the practical part, the author describes and reviews the socially responsible activities of these organizations, followed by a comparison of European football leagues from the same perspective. Major part of practical part is focused on the most successful Czech football club AC Sparta Prague. Based on current activities and on a survey of club´s fans, a set of recommendations has been created for future socially responsible activities of the club.
