Siblings in a Group of Preschool Children and Their Artistic Expression.

The bachelor thesis deals with the options of art therapy approaches in the kindergarten environment. It focuses on the artwork of sibling pairs. The thesis is divided into two parts. In the first, theoretical part, it addresses the characteristics of child and childhood, and child development in physical, mental and social terms. It deals with the influence family and family environment, siblings and sibling constellations on the child's development. It also touches on the importance and content components of preschool education and exposure to peer group. It describes basic features of children's artistic expression and the theoretical possibilities of the overlap of art therapy to art in kindergarten. In the second, practical part of the thesis, case reports of four sibling pairs and an analysis of their artwork are presented, in the context of the circumstances and period of its origin. The research has been carried out in a kindergarten environment. The aim was to find out how the artistic expression of siblings reflects the experience of the family environment, how the siblings interact with each other and whether this fact appears in their artistic expression. We found out how the joint presence of these siblings affects their activity in the group and pointed out the possibility of opening the way to solving their adaptation problems and individual themes through artwork.

The printed essay includes enclosure in a portable CD-form, where not only the file of a number of tutorail methods is to be found, but also involves a user´s guide in PDF data format and all the examples that have been used in this guide.
Creation as the way of reaching educational goals in high school literary education

This work deals with creation in literary education. In its view creation is not only an addition or a way of education results verification. It is considered to be a way how to achieve literary goals. It also deals with contemporary didactics teachers' views and context of Czech curriculum. It looks for specific forms of creative work in professional publications and analyses chosen current textbooks in the terms of questions and tasks for students. It comes to a conclusion that professional publications can be seen or used as a source of particular methods and principles and textbooks can be used as a database of appropriate texts from the didactics point of view. Furthermore, the work brings the reflection of a few own lessons based on the creation. Studying the resources leads to the view, that creation is a source of constructivism, an option not to learn completed conclusions but to achieve literary knowledge through a process by working with an artistic text. Students are learning by making an artifact and communicating about it. The pivotal point of work in the class is a reflexion which helps students to take the knowledge adopted by creation. This diploma thesis Composition and Mystification (Jan Novák, Jan Lukeš, and T. R. Field) acquaints the reader with three personages of Czech literature of the twentieth century. So far they have been treated by literary science as rather marginal. Their work is associated with a great deal of literary mystification originating from the authors themselves or people influenced by their literary output and their personalities. All three authors belong to the category of so called 'loonies', which implies that their lives and their work were to certain extent shaped by the eccentricity of their personalities or perhaps even mental disorders. The introductory chapter with its synoptic character defines and describes the term of literary mystification which is further on related to terms such as play, ludism and myth. Particular emphasis is being put on the distinction between the literary mystifications and the traditional ones. Selected literary mystifications in Czech literature are exemplified. Researched topic of the thesis is The role of art teacher education focused on the presentation of art works. Art teacher is given in context to the curator of the exhibition, the curatorial activities. Curator of the exhibition is a relatively new professional level, very important especially for contemporary art. The theoretical part of the work confronts profession of educator and curator of the exhibition. It searchs for a new fields of two environment meanings that combines art. Interest is whether and how the profession of the teacher and curator of visual encounter is met. I search and describe this during studies. Subsequent interest is the presentation of pupils' work, and whether it is an important part of the activity of fine art teacher, looking for steps it goes through. As well as what the teacher's attitude towards exhibitions and other forms of presentation of pupils' work. Educated high school students are familiar with the possibilities and circumstances presenting their own works of art, learn about the background of the exhibition project. Creation as one of human needs

This thesis deals with the relationship between creation, human needs (focusing on the need for self-actualization) and creativity. The theoretical part describes the general and artistic creation and then creation is further divided into professional and amateur. The thesis briefly discusses the human needs and later focuses on the theory of basic human needs according to Maslow. Emphasis is put on the need for self-actualization. The last part of the theoretical section is devoted to creativity, the current perception of this phenomenon, and primarily focuses on the connection between creativity and self-actualization, as defined by Maslow. The empirical section describes the design of research that explores the correlation between self-actualization and creation, while comparing self-actualization and creativity among three groups: (1) people that create as a profession, (2) people that create as a hobby and (3) people that do not create. Media image of czech fine art in czech media in 1948-53

The thesis aims to describe the media image of the czech fine art during 1948-1953 in the cultural periodicals "Kulturní politika", "Tvorba", "Var" and "Lidové noviny". It focuses on two topics that occurred most frequently in these periodicals;That is the definition of art and socialist realism and shaping artists and society. Social realism is characterized not only by description, but also by inspiration sources like Czech fine art of 19th century and the tendency to oppose competitive or similar artistic styles and trends like formalism, naturalism, academicism and kitsch. Shaping the artists and society is understood in terms of upringing, education and enlightenment. In connection with these two areas this thesis focuses on history, cultural policy of the Communist Party, the organizational structure of artistic production, distribution of art, shaping artists, penetration of art into public and private space, socialist realism and an attitude of visual artists to new conditions of artistic production. Different features were also included to capture the uniqueness of each periodical. The starting point of the thesis is a historical and qualitative analysis.
