Design of 3 MW high-speed permanent magnet synchronous motor
Bořil, Michal ; Bárta, Jan (referee) ; Vítek, Ondřej (advisor)
The thesis theme is the design of 3 MW high-speed permanent magnet synchronous motor. The work is divided into several parts, and contains the information given on the topic. The first part lists trends and new technologies of high-speed electric machines, and the issues and construction of high-speed synchronous machines are also listed here. In the second part, the machine is analytically designed from the specified values, which is then modelled in the RMxprt program. In the penultimate part, the engine is simulated by programs that are included in the ANSYS Electronics Desktop package, they are RMxprt and Maxwell. The modified engine model in RMxprt is simulated using defined formulas and then converted to Maxwell 2D, where the engine is simulated using the finite element method. In the last part, the results from the analytical calculation are compared with other high-speed machines. In addition, the results of simulations from RMxprt and Maxwell were compared in the last part.

Provided record from the nuclear power plant Temelín was for evaluating.current division into individual brushes. The conclusion is a summary of the achieved knowledge.
FEA modelling of synchronous machine
Ficza, Tibor ; Kurfűrst, Jiří (referee) ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (advisor)
Táto práca sa zaoberá s modelovaním synchronného stroja s permanentnými magnetmi pomocou metody konečných prvkov. K modelovaniu sme si zvolili 3 fázový synchronný stroj s permanentnými magnetmi na povrchu rotora z firmy VUES. Najprv vypočítame parametre stroja a potom spravíme statický model pomocou programu FEMM a Matlab a budeme hladať možné riešenia na 2D dynamický model. Pomocou programu Ansys Workbench spravíme 3D model tohoto stroja budeme a porovnávať výsledky simulácie.
Design and electromagnetic calculation of small power wound field synchronous machine
Laštovička, Josef ; Vítek, Ondřej (referee) ; Bárta, Jan (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor thesis is the issue of synchronous machines with a wound rotor and their design. The first part of the work summarizes the theory of synchronous machines with a wound rotor. A more detailed focus is given to salient pole machines. The second part summarizes specific steps in designing a machine with a wound rotor. The third part is to create a program for calculating a salient pole synchronous machine. The program is based on knowledge gained in the first and second parts using the Python programming language. The fourth part focuses on electromagnetic design, its optimalization, simulations and interpretation of their results. The last part contains technical production documentation and machine model.

Štencl, Michal ; Huzlík, Rostislav (referee) ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (advisor)
This thesis deals with electromagnetic design of synchronous generator with permanent magnets. The aim of this work is verify already made prototype of generator, which after testing has problem with warming of permanent magnets and winding. The work includes electromagnetic design of the machine, simulation through RMxprt and comparison with prototype of generator. The thesis includes also simulations operating conditions through Maxwell 2D and Maxwell 3D.
Ventilation calculations in synchronous machine
Judas, Jan ; Deeb, Ramia (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
The aim of the project was to get familiar with the environment of ANSYS CFX, create several models of fans and synchronous machine model in Autodesk inventor, create model of cooling medium flow through the machine with these fans and evaluation of results. Firstly the thesis describes the synchronous machine itself, losses of the machine, the flow of power of synchronous machine and methods of its cooling. Next the thesis describes each kind of heat transfer, laminar and turbulent flow. The thesis also refers of kind of the fans and the program used to calculate the flow Ansys CFX, including the method that Ansys used to calculate. The work describes the individual modification of fans and setting of calculation in ANSYS. Then displays the results of the analysis these fans for different numbers of fan blades and for modification of the fan. Then the thesis analyzes selected modifications due to changing speed. In the last chapter shows the analysis of flow in the machine with three different fans. In particular, there is shown the mass flow rate, pressure and its distribution on areas for evaluation.
Model of synchronous PM machine based on equivalent reluctance network
Sporni, Peter ; Lapčík, Josef (referee) ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (advisor)
Táto práca pojednáva o problematike vytvárania a simulácie reluktančnej sieti synchrónneho stroja s V tvarovanými permanentnými magnetmi v programe PSpice. Neskôr nahradíme lineárne odpory reprezentujúce plechy nelineárnymi a počítame s precovnou teplotou permanentných magnetov. Potom porovnáme naše výsledky s FEM metódou počítanými hodnotami a vypočítame indukované napätie v jednej cievke stroja.

This thesis provides complete design of generator into a spinning bike. The issue of current development is solved and the analytical design of the generator is made. The software Maxwell is being used for the analysis and optimization. On the basis of the obtained results is designed a model and a design drawing of the generator. The end of the thesis deals with the issue of connecting the generator to the mains supply and price calculation of the investment return.
Effect of Manufacturing Variations of Permanent Magnets in Surface-Mounted Permanent Magnet Motors
Vícha, Adam ; Mach, Martin (referee) ; Bárta, Jan (advisor)
Master’s thesis summs up issues of mounting pemanent magnets on rotor surface of permanent magnet synchronous machine. Literature reseach is divided in two parts. First one shows studies and experiments researching the impact of manufacturing tolerances of permanent magnets and wrong mounting on the rotor on cogging torque . The second part focus on analytical aproach of defining influence of permanent magnets on magnetic flux density in the air gap and phase induced voltage. Practical part focus on design of a prototype machine, wich will be used to research the impact of tolerances and imperfections. Parametric model of the prototype machine is created in Maxwell and is subjected to analysis via finite element method. Three different analysis were run, offset of permanent magnet, decrease and wrong dicertion of magnetization. At last the result of cogging torque and induced voltage are compared.
