Kopejtko, Martin ; Štemberk, Jan (advisor) ; Šalanda, Bohuslav (referee)
The diploma thesis "The Economic and Cultural Development of the Township of Lhenice in the 19th Century" examines the transformation of life in the township of Lhenice during the so-called long 19th century, a period marked by the beginning of modernity, the industrial revolution, urbanization, the rise of nation states, nationalism and the struggle for national identity, and the ongoing National Revival in the Czech lands. The analysis focuses on key aspects of economic changes, such as changes in agriculture, the development of crafts and industry, and the decline of the market system, as well as on cultural changes, such as the emergence of organised social life or the background to public festivals or other celebrations. The study reveals how the local economy responded to economic development and its challenges and technological advances, how the local community dealt with the gradual institutionalization of poverty and the poverty question in general, and how the whole society was affected by the broader socio-political changes in the Austrian monarchy and the Czech lands. The research also includes a sociological analysis of how the structure of society has changed, particularly in relation to the development of education and educational opportunities. Finally, the thesis highlights the...

In the empirical part, it investigates by a questionnaire survey the pupil's preferences in search of a child hero, the pupil's value ranking and his moral attitudes. The questionnaire investigation is complemented by two classworks with one class, the first of which preceded the questionnaire investigation and the second of which complemented it. The empirical part concludes with a comparison of the results with those of previous surveys. The hypothesis that pupils would look for their behavioural patterns most in virtual environments was not confirmed. On the contrary, the results and comparisons confirmed the hypothesis that pupils perceive and recognize the same...
Zombie as a Metaphor of Human Society
PÝCHOVÁ, Nela
The bachelor thesis deals with the interpretation of the undead or zombie in popular culture. It examines the features with the help of which their specificity is constructed (even compared to the characters of vampires or artificial beings) and the meanings that zombies generate in specific works. It traces how and how much zombies reflect the state of society (in the sense of the circulation of social energy and related themes) and how do these zombie metaphors change over time. The thesis focuses mainly on film production, but also addresses the question of how these representations differ in different media. The primary sources are the works of popular culture themselves and the main method of interpretation is their interpretative comparison placed in the context of the time the works were created and the socio-cultural setting that can be observed at that time.
Society's attitude towards children and adolescents with behavioral disorders
ŠÍMOVÁ, Michaela
The bachelor's thesis deals with society's attitude towards children and adolescents with behavioral disorders. The work is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. In the theoretical part, the characteristics of behavioral disorders, their classification, and the manifestations of behavioral disorders in children and adolescents at the present time are presented. Attention was also paid to risky behavior, antisocial behavior, factors influencing behavioral disorders, etiology and prevention of behavioral disorders, and the system of care for children and adolescents with behavioral disorders is also mentioned here. The last chapter already deals with the company's attitude. The practical part was carried out using a quantitative survey, using the questionnaire method. A total of 160 respondents took part in the survey. Three objectives were chosen for the bachelor thesis. The first goal was to find out how today's society perceives children and adolescents with behavioral disorders, or the clientele of institutions of institutional education. The second goal was to find out how these individuals are treated, i.e. if they are perceived as problematic or dangerous, or if society perceives them in a different light. The third goal was to find out if they also see the causes of their problems and can perceive them positively. Based on the results, it was found that society perceives children and adolescents with behavioral disorders most often as someone who often and in large quantities consumes alcohol and smokes cigarettes. The majority of respondents perceive individuals with behavioral disorders as fixable, and more than half perceive them as someone who is to blame for their disorder. The thought of individuals with behavioral disorders in society evokes mixed feelings in most. More than half of the respondents perceive these individuals as problematic, but not dangerous. The research also showed that society believes that the greatest influence on the emergence of disordered behavior is an unsatisfactory family environment and relationships with peers. Society has largely agreed that the most important factor in preventing the development of behavioral disorders is a suitable family environment. The vast majority of those interviewed also believe that children and young people with behavioral disorders in our country do not receive enough care and are not taken care of.
