Role of low-treshold centre in small town

The bachelor thesis deals with low-threshold equipment for children and youth and its role in a small town. The first four chapters are purely theoretical and rather of general nature. In the first chapter I deal with its anchoring in the legislation that the service provides, the course of provision of services and the persons working in these facilities. In the second chapter, I focus on the target group for these devices, what are their main characteristics, the development and possible risk behavior they commit. In the third part I focus on the definition of a small town. Social structure of the population, education and alternative opportunities for children and youth. In the fourth chapter I am describing a particular facility that is aimed at the clientele of a typical small town. Archival writings, yearbooks and information provided by the facility's staff were used to describe the facility. The last part of the thesis is research. First, I have determined the research questions and the way I will verify them according to the theoretical knowledge from the relevant literature. The survey itself was first conducted by a questionnaire method, where the clients filled out the questionnaires with the participation of an adult. Influence of the social environment on extracurricalar music education of children

This thesis deals with social environment, especially its influence on out-of-school musical education of children. The thesis also examines factors, that influence out-of- school education of children. The thesis contains theoretical and practical part. In theoretical part the term of social environment and its possible influence on out-of- school musical education of children are defined and clarified. Different social groups, that children usually walks through in their lives, are described in individual chapters. Big attention is given to these social groups. In thesis problematics of influence of massmedia on children's musical development is delineate. The thesis also offer detailed list of institutions in which children have opportunity to musically educate themselves. The practical part consists of research of influence of social environment on out-of-school musical education of children and maps factors, that decide where children musically educate themselves, which musical instrument children play and also delineates problematics outlines of commuting to out-of-school music instititions. Social environment and polarisation within suburb: case study Jesenice u Prahy

5 ABSTRACT Suburbanization is the process of moving residents from the core city to the outskirts. Newly-migrants from the city often carry different views and lifestyles than the original inhabitants of the village, which may be the cause of social polarisation. The general aim of the thesis is to evaluate the development of the social environment, to describe and explain the consequences of suburbanization on social polarisation in the Prague city region on the example of Jesenice u Prahy. Within the general objective, the thesis sets two partial objectives: Describe the demographic development of the population, the development of housing construction and the age structure in Jesenice. Compare the results of the social climate from Petra Puldová's thesis (2006), describe how the social climate has changed over the past 13 years. The questionnaire survey is used to fulfill both the general and the second partial objective. The questionnaire is used to find out if the respondents have mutual relations with the original and new inhabitants, how satisfied they are with the life in the municipality, social cohesion, how they participate in social and political life. Juvenile crime as a serious social problem.

Bachelor thesis titled Juvenile criminality as a serious social problem is presented to map out the criminal behavior of juveniles living in Tábor, depending on their social environment. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the terms related to the name of the bachelor thesis. The practical part is focused on research. Using quantitative research, the technique of collecting data analysis of documents and in-depth individual interviews with relevant staff dealing with criminal juveniles was used. The Examined group is made up of juveniles (15-18 y.o.), who were kept in the records of curators for children and youth in the district of Tábor and three curators for children and youth, who works in the city office of Tábor and than with municipal police officer of Tábor. This bachelor thesis should bring practical informations about juvenile delinquency in connection with the social environment in which juveniles live. In my research, I was looking for an answer to my research question: How does the social environment, in which juveniles live affects their criminal behavior? I have investigated the answer to this question, that there are more influences which can affect juvenile delinquency. Above all, it is the family, peers, school, the juvenile's residence and his psychosocial development experiences. The benefits of this work can be used by curators for children and youth who work with juveniles and, based on proven influences, can capture juvenile criminal behavior.

Social environment as a risk factor for betting addiction development in athletes in out-patient treatment for gamblers

Sociální prostředí jako rizikový faktor pro kurzovém sázení u sportovců léčících se v ambulanci pro gamblery zaměřuje na tři životní období klientů Poradny pro nelátkové závislosti Prevent. Obecně je problematika hazardního hraní v ČR velice aktuální téma. S regulací heren a novou ČR vystupuje do popředí problematika kurzového sázení. V 14 došlo k nárůstu podílu populace, která má zkušenosti s hazardní hrou. Nejvyšší nárůst (Mravčík et al., 2018) Cílem této práce je zmapovat a popsat sociální faktory, které měli přímý vliv na vznik a rozvoj závislosti na kurzovém sázení u sportovců léčících se v ambulantní léčbě. Práce se zaměřuje na tři životní období respondentů. Prvním zkoumaným životním obdobím období počátků sázení a první zkušenosti s hazardem, druhým životním obdobím je přechod z ní do závislosti a třetí ži respondenti rozhodli jít léčit. U všech třech etap života respondentů jsou mapovány a popsány veškeré sociální vlivy a interakce s Práce je založena na metodě kvalitativního výzkumu a vychází z zakotvené teorie a otevřeného kódování. Pro sběr dat byl použit polostrukturovaný rozhovor, který umožnil flexibilitu při samotné formulaci otázek a jejím případném doplnění dalšími otázkami a tím přesnějším získáním potřebných dat. Analysis of indicators of the social environment in the municipalities on the basis of various criteria for use at the local level

This diploma thesis deals with analysis of indicators of the social environment in small municipalities with up to 2 000 inhabitants based on various criteria for local use. The aim of the thesis is to propose an indicator set, which will best meet the requirements of such set in terms of applied criteria. The research question is: What indicators should be included in an indicator set for assessing the social environment of municipalities with up to 2 000 inhabitants to suit the differences and needs of these communities? The research problem addressed in the thesis concerns the possibility of measuring social sustainability at the local level, focusing on small municipalities with up to 2 000 inhabitants in the Czech Republic. The thesis also focuses on the possibility of projecting SDGs into this set. It is a qualitative research that involves the use of methods of document analysis, comparison, description, non-participant observation and semi-structured interviews. Based on the first four methods and theoretical knowledge, a preliminary design of the indicator set was created. Residential suburbanization in Kladno district: change of social environment

Since the second half of the 1990s a residential suburbanization process has occurred in the Czechia. Within the process residents move from cities to municipalities that are located in their outskirts. The general aim of the thesis is to evaluate the social environment in Kladno district which is change just as a consequence of the residential suburbanization process. Within the general aim, the thesis sets out three partial objectives: To characterize the process of residential suburbanization in Kladno district, to evaluate changes in the socio- spatial structure of Kladno district with the main focus on the suburban municipalities, and to evaluate the social environment in the selected suburban municipality in Kladno district. There are quantitative methods used in the work. To accomplish the first and second partial objectives is used the analysis of statistical data from Czech Statistical Office. To accomplish the third partial objective is used a questionnaire survey, which investigate how respondents interact with native and new residents and how they engage in social and political life in Buštěhrad.
