The issue a knee injury in the athletics (case study)
Petrušová, Kateřina ; Kaplan, Aleš (advisor) ; Komínková, Linda (referee)
Title: The overview of knee injury issue in athletics (case study) Student: Kateřina Petrušová Supervisor: PhDr. Aleš Kaplan, PhD. MBA Aims: The aim of this thesis was to analyze and go through different recondition program processes, set together for and apply recondition program on particular athlete, all this based on the study of literature directly related to knee injury in sports and athletics. Next to realize case study and thanks to different tests evaluate based on various indicators the efficiency of recondition program on selected indicators by athlete and student of UK FVS after injury and arthroscopy of a knee. Methodology: After initial literal research the recondition program was settled and was applied to the probant. During the recondition program were monitored parameters of body structure on Tanita BC 545, parameters of bottom limbs circumference and further the stability level, sensomotorics and symmetry using the MFT S3 Check device and finally the dynamic stability on Y Balance Test device. Results: I studied a lot of literature, which was directly related to knee injury. I read through 12 foreign and Czech titles. Especially abroad the knee injury problematics are often mentioned. Regarding the influence of athletic training on different parameters of the probant I indicated...
Evaluation of stability level of athletes (14-15 years) by MFT S3 Check
Javůrková, Jana ; Kaplan, Aleš (advisor) ; Jebavý, Radim (referee)
Theme: Evaluation of stability level of athletes (14-15 years) by MFT S3 Check Aims: The aim of this diploma thesis is evaluation of stability level, sensomotor and pose symmetry of both-limb posture by MFT S3 Check system at a selected group of children attending an athletic club. I used the comparison of values between a group of girls and boys. Methodology: The level of stability, sensomotor and pose symmetry was measured in the course of the race season. The data was measured by MFT S3 Check system and further one leg stand test was used. Measurment was supplemented with a questionnaire survey. I used the comparison of values between a group of girls and boys Results: In the test MFT S3 Check the girls achieved above-average evaluation in the index values and stability sensomotorics than boys, who were evaluated in the test below average. The sum of the average values of divergences from the ideal ratio at both monitored levels were lower by 0.15 at boys. There was proved a medium dependence of body weight and BMI values on the level of stability. Shoe size, incidence of ankle injuries, nor the results of the one leg stand test had no impact on the level of stability. Key words: senzomotor, stability, symmetry, 14-15 years, athletics, testing
The possibilities of influencing the stability of walking in geriatric patients
Hloušková, Pavlína ; Čápová, Eva (advisor) ; Homolková, Alena (referee)
Title of thesis: The possibilities of influencing the stability of walking in geriatric patients Abstract: This bacherol thesis addresses gait disorder therapy in geriatric patients. Good stability is a fundamental prerequisite for quality gait. The stable and quality gait is key to preserve the self-sufficiency, therefore the physiotherapy bears great importance. The theoretic part aims at the geriatric patient and lists possibilities how we can influence the stability. The practical part contains the case study of two patients with the goal to verify one of the possibilities how to influence stability in the real life. The method of senzimotor stimulation was choosen. The terapies were going on in two weeks. Both patients had undergone ten therapies and every took approximately 30 minutes. For comparison, we have used standardized tests which are described in the theoretical part. The output testing confirm the improvement, was achieved better gait stability and certainty in both cases. Key words: geriatric patient, stability, gait, walking investigation, sensorimotor
Physiotherapy in patients after Achilles tendon rupture
Wolfová, Gabriela ; Horká, Bohumila (advisor) ; Zavrtálková, Lucie (referee)
1 ABSTRACT Author: Gabriela Wolfová Title: Physiotherapy in patients after Achilles tendon rupture Supervisor: Mgr. Bohumila Horká Number of the pages: 92 Number of attachments: 3 The year of presentation: 2015 Key words: rupture of the Achilles tendon, physiotherapy, sensomotor The Bachelor thesis summarizes facts concerning injuries of Achilles tendon and subsequent physiotherapy. The general section contains basic information about the leg musculoskeletal articular system and develops the theme or Achilles tendon. It deals with ethiopathogenesis injury, diagnosis and treatment of Achilles tendon ruptures. Options, methods and chosen techniques of subsequent physiotherapy, which is the main focus, are presented in the Bachelor thesis. The practical part handles with causalities of two cases with Achilles tendon injuries treated conservatively and with surgical operation. 2
The Use of Sensory Motor Stimulation in Patients with Multiple Myeloma at the Transplant Ward
Havlová, Lucie ; Havlová, Martina (advisor) ; Hálková, Jindřiška (referee)
Title: The Use of Sensory Motor Stimulation in Patients with Multiple Myeloma at the Transplant Ward Abstract: The bachelor thesis deals with the use of the sensory motor stimulation technique in patiens with multiple myeloma who are hospitalized in a transplant unit. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical parts. In the theoretical part, multiple myeloma, its etiology, symptoms and the treatment are characterized. Then it concentrates on the course of autologous transplantation and the patient's hospitalization in a transplant unit. This part of the thesis also deals with the influence of motion activity on the human body and consequences of physical inactivity. The sensory motor stimulation technique, its nature, conception and methodological procedure are also explained in this part. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the use of the sensory motor stimulation in two patiens with multiple myeloma hospitalized in a transplant unit. It is composed of two case reports. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to find out the influence of sensory motor stimulation on a physical condition of the patiens after autologous transplantation and suitability of its integration into the rehabilitation programme of the transplant unit. Key words: Multiple myeloma, autologous transplantation,...
Evaluation of stability, sensorimotor and symmetry of football players after ACL reconstruction by MFT S3 tool
Otto, Šimon ; Kaplan, Aleš (advisor) ; Malý, Tomáš (referee)
Theme: Evaluation of stability, sensorimotor and symmetry of football players after ACL reconstruction by MFT S3 tool. Student: Bc. Simon Otto Supervisor: PhDr. Ales Kaplan, PhD. Aims: The aim of the diploma thesis is evaluation of stability, sensorimotor and symmetry of chosen group of football players (n=4) after ACL injury by MFT S3 check test. Methodology: The level of stability, sensorimotor and symmetry was measured by MFT S3 tool and then evaluated with activities during the recondition season. Results: The study proved that some activities are more or less suitable for development of stability and sensorimotor. The biggest positive effect had special workouts aimed for tight muscles and the knee joint. The lowest values were measured after the run and football trainings when the stability and the sensorimotor were impaired. The values were higher in sagittal plane due the preferable sagittal movement used during the football matches. It is important to realize that the recondition process is needs to be lead individually for every athlete after ACL surgery because there is not any universal methodological procedure. Key words: Stability, sensorimotor, symmetry, injury, knee, ACL, football, recondition.

Švecová, Hana ; Panská, Šárka (advisor) ; Novotná, Viléma (referee)
Title Sensorimotor response to the audiovisual impulse of young school age children. The aim of the work The aim of the work was quantification of sensorimotor response to the audiovisual impulse of young school age girls. Method Pilot study - experimental research, indirect measurement. Results Investigation showed that the group of girls who do coordination-aesthetic sports reached better results of sensorimotor response to the audiovisual impulse in the tests of gross and fine coordination than the group of girls who do not or have not been doing coordination-aesthetic sports in the past.
