Phenomenon of dignity as part of existential stability of senior

The bachelor thesis on the Phenomenon of dignity as part of existencial stability of the senior citizen deals with the phenomenon of dignity and its relation to the existential stability of man. The concept of dignity is perceived as a relation to fundamental values and principles in human society. Existential stability is an expression of the meaningfulness of human life. The bachelor thesis offers an overview of legislative and professional backgrounds related to the dignity and meaning of life in the context of logotherapy. The introductory theoretical part contains the definition of the basic concepts that are related to the solved problems and their relation to the main studied concepts. The practical part consists of the definition of qualitative research, methods that have been used and significant findings. The practical part is based on a phenomenon probe using qualitative research. Through semi-structured interviews and their subsequent analysis, the content of the definition of dignity and its relation to the existence stability of the senior was determined. These findings were subsequently used to design a concept of social work for a specific facility. The target group was seniors who live in nursing home facilities.

This work deals with the aging process and the subsequent age from the perspective of biological and psychosocial aspects with taking into account to visual impairment. After defining the basic characteristics of advanced age and visual impairment, deals with the life of one elderly person with impaired vision that lives in the home for the visually impaired Palata. The aim work is to highlight the quality of life of people with visual impairments in advanced age. In the end of work is a recommendation for special education theory and practice related to old people. Happiness in the Elderly

This diploma thesis is focused on happiness in the elderly. It searches answers on questions like: Can be the senior citizens happy? How should we grow old without loosing contentment? The meaning of the word happiness is discussed, as well as multiple points of view on old age. The presence of happiness in elderly is studied including ways toward the happiness. The thesis also includes seven casuistry, which illustrate the happiness of senior citizens. The results of casuistry complement the theoretical parts of the work.
Use of canistheraphy in the elderly living in retirement home

3 ABSTRACT The theme of my thesis : Use of canisteraphy in the elderly retirement home. The theme: Theme of my thesis was to studying the effect of canisteraphy and its progress on the quality of live senior sof older people living in geriatric facilities. Qualitative study was focused primarily on ganges in sociability and social skills, cognitive area, especially perception of stimulation, memory training, attention and influence on overall to a new environment in a retirement home. Methods : The research had a qualitative charakter, since my direct participation during the theraphy in the retirement home the metod of my research became direct watching the seniors in combination with interwiev. The Results: Using interview and studies, we had introduced the process of canisteraphy and its progress in a retirement home. Results indicated a positive effect especially in the areas of sociability and social skills, cognitive and overall area of adaptation in new environment in a retirement home. The exploitation of psychomotors and other exercising for seniors and their influnce on physical ans mental health

This bachelor thesis mainly deals with the impact of psychomotor training on physical and mental health of seniors in facilities for the elderly. For my research has been identified 15 seniors in the experimental group and 15 seniors in the control group. To assess the influence of the experimental group was applied the intervention motion psychomotor exercise program for 6 months. The control group did not participate in the IPP, in this group was only measurements in October 2011 and March 2012. The program of my thesis was focused on finding health through physical anthropometric methods and determination of BMI and blood pressure and their subsequent effect on IPP. It was also aimed at finding and the subsequent positive effect on psychological parameters were studied using POP questionnaire and feedback. After the intervention motion program were evaluated using statistical measurements obtained results showed that the use of psychomotor exercise has demonstrable positive effect on physical and mental health of seniors, especially to reduce BMI and psychological well-being and increased positive self-esteem.
The Quality of Life by Clients at Seniors Houses " Pod Lipami" in Smečno, Kladno´s Region

The title of my thesis is The Quality of Life of Elderly Women and Men at the Senior House ?Pod Lipami? in Kladno District. I chose this topic because the ageing of population is becoming a problem which cannot be ignored and which has become a phenomenon of our time. It affects individuals as well as whole community. The topic of my bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of senior life quality. The theoretical part of this thesis describes demographic ageing, the terms of old age and ageing, then it deals with various aspects of ageing, terms of geriatrics and gerontology, health conditions of elderly people, quality of life and its determinants which affect senior life. The theoretical part is based on the knowledge of professional literature. The thesis deals with areas of ageing and old age, as well as with terms such as theoretical determination of life quality and senior care. The practical part is focused on my own examination and evaluation of senior life quality.
