Business Plan for Sandwich Bar
Vlach, Zdeněk ; Kupský, Michal (referee) ; Luňáček, Jiří (advisor)
The Bachelor‘s Thesis is working out a business plan for sandwich bar. The thesis is divided into three main parts – the theoretical, analytical and proposal section. The first part defines the basic concepts that are directly related with the business. The second part is based on business environment analysis and questionnaire survey. The last part of proposal contains the business plan and completes the preparation of the business plan and prognoses for the implementation of the whole project.
Testing of embryotoxicity of selected human teratogenes on chicken embryos.
Pavlíková, Zuzana ; Peterka, Miroslav (advisor) ; Novotná, Božena (referee)
Teratogenes are external environmental factors that can cause a developmental or a congenital defect in exposed individuals. The methods used for detecting the embryotoxic effect of substances are the classic when laboratory mammals are used and the alternative which use in vitro and in ovo systems. The main difference between these two is that the alternative methods lack metabolism of maternal organism. The metabolism of maternal organism brings a high variability of results to systems of the classic methods. We used two alternative methods in this thesis, both using chicken embryo. The first of them was in ovo method called CHEST (Jelínek, 1977). CHEST method can be used for administration of tested substances from ED2 to ED6. The disadvantage of this method is due to the dilution of the tested substance after subgerminal application at ED2. Therefore we developed in vitro method called SANDWICH. No dilution occurs while using the SANDWICH method. The aim of this study was to develop in vitro method SANDWICH while using proven teratogene (all-trans retinoic acid) and its solvent (dimethyl sulfoxide), to estimate beginning of the embryotoxicity dose range for both substances using CHEST and SANDWICH, and finally to compare obtained results. We confirmed the embryotoxic effect of all-trans...
Adjustment of the Insulation of the Bus Rear Part
Pešina, Jan ; Kubík, Roman (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
Master thesis is focused on proposal of improved manufacturing process of assembly named "sandwich" produced in Iveco bus company. There is solved new fixation of assembly bench, replacement of currently used glues and material of ledge as well. In the first part there is company introduction Iveco Bus. Second part consist of construction analysis and description of present manufacturing process. Further there is introduction, solving out of thesis topics and proposal of new manufacturing process is written. At the end of thesis are attached comparison between present and proposed manufacturing process.
Chassis for Race Car Category E2
Šikuta, Lukáš ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
This work deals with the design of chassis for race car category E2 made from aluminium honeycomb sandwich, design of roll cage and conception of engine mount. In the text are FEM analysis, which are focused on torsional rigidity of chassis and strength properties of roll cage.
Study of optoelectrical properties of organic semiconductor thin film layers of phtalocyanines
Miklíková, Zdeňka ; Vala, Martin (referee) ; Zmeškal, Oldřich (advisor)
Diploma thesis is focused on the study of optoelectric properties of thin layers of organic materials based on phthalocyanines, which can be used as an active layer of photovoltaic cells. Especially are studied the properties of the thin active layers of PdPc and PdPc + IL on the glass or ceramic substrates with aluminium contact, which are prepared by material printing here. On the prepared samples were first measured current-voltage characteristics in the dark and in the light and then were measured impedance spectrums in the dark. The received results will be used to improve the properties and structures of photovoltaic cells.
Design of shell orthopedic insole fabricated by 3D printing
Chaloupka, Matyáš ; Koutecký, Tomáš (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of shell orthopedic insole fabricated by 3D printing. The background research is focused on matters of pes planus and on the methods of Rapid Prototyping including most commonly used materials. The structural design is focused on designing a material pattern for this medical instrument and consequently modeling sandwich structure by combining two materials, plastic and softened plastic, which is then made using Rapid Prototyping on Fused Deposition Modeling 3D printer. Rhinoceros© was used for the purpose of making a shell orthopedic insole, especially it’s algorithmic editor tightly integrated with Rhino’s 3D modeling tools, Grasshopper®. Final part was made with sandwich structure by combining PLA plastic and Flex material using Rapid Prototyping.
Marketing strategies of the SUBWAY fast food chain
Nguyen, Huu Tung ; Vávra, Oldřich (advisor) ; Hai Linh, Do (referee)
This Bachelor's Thesis examines the marketing strategy of the SUBWAY restaurant chain, its market positioning, segmentation and targeting strategies and comparison between national and local marketing tactics. The aim of the Bachelor's Thesis is to make suggestions beneficial to improvements in brand awareness and growth of the company. Thesis is divided into two sections of theoretical part and practical part. In the theoretical part of the Bachelor's thesis discusses about marketing basis, history and its instruments. The next part introduces franchise business model, its advantages and disadvantages for both franchisors and franchisee. The practical part presents analysis of SUBWAY company in Czech republic, competitors analysis, its marketing mix and the comparison of national and local marketing.
Numerical analysis of "sandwich" FE model of human skull
Kunecký, Jiří ; Jiroušek, Ondřej ; Jírová, Jitka
The paper reports on the reconstruction of FE model of human skull based on data obtained from Computed Tomography (CT) and its following numerical analysis. To improve the results the "sandwich" material model is used due to its better approximation of the bone structure. This improvement is achieved by covering the original model using shell elements. The thickness of the shell layer is tested and its final value is determined by comparing the results with different thicknesses to values obtained from experiments reported in scientific papers.
