Zapletalová, Lenka
The topic of my bachelor thesis was risky behaviour at a secondary vocational school. Therefore, the aim of the thesis was to identify, describe and interpret the level of risky behaviour in the students at the selected school. A research based on a quantitative approach was chosen to address this issue. The main method was a questionnaire, in paper form. The participants of the research included the students of a secondary vocational school in the Olomouc region and the research included pupils of grades 1–4. Distribution began in early March 2022 and data collection was completed by the end of March 2022. A total of 72 pupils participated. The responses obtained were transcribed and organized in MS Excel, where subsequent evaluation was also carried out using absolute and relative frequencies. Some questions were also evaluated within gender. No questionnaire was discarded during the evaluation. The results of the research yielded the following: 33.33% of the respondents had already skipped school, alcohol was the most commonly used substance, social networking was the most common non-substance addiction, 59.72% had already experienced bullying - most often as a bystander and victim, 25% have been a victim of cyberbullying and 2.78% have self-staged it, the most common criminal behavior is theft and vandalism, 27.78% have experienced sexual harassment, 20.83% are on a weight loss diet, 81.94% feel safe at school. Thus, the survey shows that respondents experienced bullying the most, followed by truancy, then sexual harassment and then cyberbullying. Based on observations, it was also found that women were more likely to be exposed to particular forms of risky behaviour or applied them more compared to men.

Fáčková, Jana ; Zvírotský, Michal (advisor) ; Richterová, Magdalena (referee)
ABSTRACT This master's thesis is focused on how theoretically prepared new teachers are in the matter of preventing and dealing with school bullying. The theoretical section is focused on explaining certain terminology related to school bullying, and describes the role of the teacher and new teacher. This section discusses the important role of preventive methods at schools, possible measures to prevent bullying and approaches to dealing with bullying, both in terms of the bullying of pupils and teachers. The practical section analyses two elementary schools in the Central Bohemian Region. These schools differ in terms of pupil numbers, style of teaching and staffing. Only 52 respondents filled out the questionnaire. I also sent the questionnaire to experienced teachers, and I was interested in their approach to the minimum preventive programme. In interviews with teachers who are only setting out on their professional careers, I also ascertained how university education has prepared them for possible cases of school bullying and whether the teaching profession has met their expectations. A part of my empirical research also included interviews with prevention methodologists and a school psychologist. In the final section, recommendations are suggested for new teachers and schools to prevent school...

Curator for Children and Youth and the Typology of his Clients
HRBKOVÁ, Vanesa
This bachelor's thesis deals with the social work of a curator for children and youth. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to describe the social work of a curator for children and youth with his clients, with a focus on the risky behavior of children and youth and possible differences in working with them. The curator for children and youth is an expert in the field of Social and Legal Protection of Children. Through its activities, it tries to use social work methods to take measures against the emergence and spread of risky behavior among children and youth. It focuses in particular on children who lead an idle or immoral life. Performs measures aimed at eliminating, mitigating, preventing, deepening or repeating disorders of the child's psychological, physical and social development. A qualitative research strategy was chosen for the research part of the bachelor's thesis, where the sample was selected by purposive selection from among Social and Legal Protection of Children workers in the South Bohemian Region, who work in the position of curator for children and youth. The necessary data were obtained by the method of questioning, the semi-structured interview technique. Subsequently, all necessary data were evaluated using open coding and data categorization was carried out. The results showed that the work of a curator for children and youth is very individual and always depends on the specific child or youth and their motivation to change their risky behavior. It also depends a lot on the family and peers of the child. Curators for children and youth mostly use interviews with the child and his entire family and case conferences in their social work. Although there are no specific scenarios for how to proceed when working with a child with a specific type of risky behavior, the curators take each case as important and always try to find a procedure that will make the best impression on the client.
