Aerodynamics Parametric Shape Aircraft Optimization
Dofek, Ivan ; Salga, Jaroslav (referee) ; Brož,, Václav (referee) ; Fiľakovský, Karol (advisor)
The work deals with the use of geometric parameterization for shape description of some parts of the airplane. Geometric parametrization is used for creating a parametric model airfoil. This parametric model allows local deformations pobrchu profile and can easily be applied to generate the geometry of the wing or other parts letoumu. Some properties of the parametric model were tested applications in aerodynamic optimization. Furthermore, the work deals with the parametric description of the blades, the aerodynamic optimization and noise analysis. For propeller blade were created distribution function of the control parameters that can be used in aerodynamic optimization of the blades. Geometric parameterization is used for identifying the location and other characteristics of noise sources.
Belt conveyor for piece material
Horák, Roman ; Zeizinger, Lukáš (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with construction and model parameterization of a belt conveyor determined for the transport of piece material. The work contains a search part, the construction of the conveyor with subsequent parameterization, a list of all used parts in the bom and a universal assembly drawing.
Commands for 2D plotter
Heczko, Jakub ; Kučera, Pavel (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with commands for 2D plotter, which is used for writing characters. Programs for already created letters are supplemented by numeric digits. Possibilities of creating commanding application using MS Excel, FactoryTalkView software and MS Word are also mentioned. The final application is realized using MS Word. Program for controlling, verifying and transmission or characters is made by VBA (Visual Basic for Applications). Data between computer and PLC are transmitted via DDE (Dynamic Data Exchange). There is a program created in RSLogix 5000 which writes out the certain characters.
FPGA implementation of artificial neural network
Čermák, Justin ; Šteffan, Pavel (referee) ; Bohrn, Marek (advisor)
This master's thesis describes the design of effective working artificial neural network in FPGA Virtex-5 series with the maximum use of the possibility of parallelization. The theoretical part contains basic information on artificial neural networks, FPGA and VHDL. The practical part describes the used format of the variables, creating non-linear function, the principle of calculation the single layers, or the possibility of parameter settings generated artificial neural networks.
Library for Python used for dysarthric speech parameterization
Koutný, Tomáš ; Galáž, Zoltán (referee) ; Mucha, Ján (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is focused on parameterization of dysartoric speech. Attention is paid to methods of Speech Signal Analysis for Parkinson's disease, modern parametrization techniques, which are designed to quantify the damage of motoric aspects of speech and implementation of selected parameters in Python. The main goal of this work was to create a parameter library that is realized in the PyCharm development environment.
Musical instruments recognition from audio records using Music information retrieval techniques
Kárník, Radoslav ; Mucha, Ján (referee) ; Kiska, Tomáš (advisor)
This paper discusses design and implementation of classifying system for recognition of musical instruments from audio records with use of Musical Information Retrieval techniques. In the first part, paper describes parameters used for instrument classification, calculation of said parameters from records and reduction of feature vector. Next part is devoted to tuning and implementation of various classifiers with focus on neural networks. These classifiers ar further tested on records from IRMAS dataset wchich contain 11 musical instruments playing solo or with other instruments. Results of classifiers tested on different parameters and different numbers of instruments are discussed in the last part.
Design of the shin protector for direct digital manufacturing
Dlabaja, Štěpán ; Haltof, Vladimír (referee) ; Škaroupka, David (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to design parametric shin pad for skiers, directly manufacturable the method of FFF from ABS plastic. Selected shin was scanned using 3D scanner and the shin pad with damping elements and parametrically customizable ribs. The final solution is experimental with potential for future adjustments.

Title: Parameterization of claims distribution in non-life insurance Author: Bc. Mária Špaková Department: Department of Probability and Mathematical Statistics Supervisor: RNDr. Michal Pešta Ph.D., MFF UK Abstract: This paper deals with the parameterization of claim size distributions in non-life insurance. It consists of the theoretical and the practical part. In the first part we discuss the usual distributions of claims and their properties. One section is devoted to extreme values distributions. Consequently, we mention the most known methods for parameter estimation - the maximum likelihood method, the method of moments and the method of weighted moments. The last theoretical chapter is focused on some validation techniques and goodness-of-fit tests. In the practical part we apply some of the discussed approaches on real data. However, we concentrate mainly on the large claims modeling - firstly, we select a reasonable threshold for our data and then we fit the claims by the generalized Pareto distribution together with the introduced parameterization procedures. Based on the results of the applied validation methods we will choose appropriate models for the biggest claims. Keywords: parameterization, non-life insurance, claims distribution.
