Design of laboratory set "Synchronous Digital Hierarchy"
Hanzal, Jan ; Polívka, Michal (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
The aim of my project was introduction with pulse code modulation and synchronous digital hierarchy. Obtained knowledge used with PCM30U device and Marconi's SDH device. These devices are currently new in our lab. Practical part consists of connect devices in to functional state. System PCM30U is using as the input unit of SDH ring. Functionality of connection verify.
Possibilities of connecting the Asterisk softswitch to the 4th generation PBX
Halamík, Zdeněk ; Krajsa, Ondřej (referee) ; Šilhavý, Pavel (advisor)
This master’s thesis dissertate the possibilities of the linkage between Asterisk softswitch and the 4th generation private branch exchange. This should create a new generation’s network, so-called NGN, by the convergence of existing telecommunication networks with an IP computer network. This master’s thesis is divided into several chapters. In introduction is described the evolution of the private branch exchanges as well as the principles of the voice digitizing, codecs and signaling commonly used in both TDM and VoIP networks. The main aim of this project is the configuration of Asterisk software exchange for connection with PBX Alcatel 4400 as well as public phone network PSTN. Another goal of this master’s thesis was the configuration of Alcatel PBX and diagnostics of CCS and CAS signaling on E1 interface. In conclusion there are summarized advantages of NGN networks and their utilization in the future.
Possibilities of nuclear safety enhancement for concept of passive system with ice condensers in case of LOCA accidents
Pluške, Zbyněk ; Baláš, Marek (referee) ; Martinec, Jiří (advisor)
The Thesis discusses about safety systems of nuclear power plants, primarily about passive containment protection. That have aims to reduce increase of pressure during the LOCA. It occupy specific type of passive system, it is Ice Condenser. In chapters is make step by step design of replacement current material for other material, that changes its phase at higher temperature. It chose a suitable material, prepared thermal calculation and structural design. Finally is prepared the economic analysis of production of new type condenser.
Digital Audio Steganography
Matuška, Matej ; Bidlo, Michal (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is steganography, i.e the science that deals with hiding information in other objects. In the introduction, steganography in general and also several areas of digital steganography are described. Next, the thesis focuses on digital audio steganography. After an introduction to digital sound and PCM and WAVE formats, several methods from this area, including one new, are described in more detail. Implementation of the new and 4 other selected methods in newly developed extensible tool for steganography and their evaluation are also parts of this thesis. The 3 basic steganography requirements (imperceptibility, robustness, capacity) were evaluated on recordings of music, speech and various sounds.
Design and optimization of temperature fluctuation dumper with latent heat thermal energy storage
Kozubík, Lukáš ; Charvát, Pavel (referee) ; Klimeš, Lubomír (advisor)
The goal of this master’s thesis is creating a model of the attenuation of the fluid temperature fluctuations using methods described in the thesis. PCM is used to attenuation of fluctuations. This thesis is example of utilization PCM in technical practice. Numerical calculation of PCM phase change uses the method of effective heat capacity and enthalpy method. A part of this thesis also forms a theoretical basis for heat transfer described by differential equations. The final part of the thesis is dedicated to the optimization of the model and the description of the optimization methods.
Point-on-Wave Controller PWC600 and its capability to protect the HV substation
Šikula, Jiří ; Melnyk, Oleksiy (referee) ; Polsterová, Helena (advisor)
Mechanical and electrical stresses reduce the life of all devices. The lifetime of some devices is affected by these stress factors more, others less. For high voltage products, it's not just a lifetime or a price, but a security that should be the first. This thesis deals with protection of elements of high voltage switchboards. Specifically, it is a PWC600 Point-on-Wave Controller that attempts to minimize stress when connecting or disconnecting loads or generators.
Analysis of Converged Networks by Simulations
Gardáš, Vít ; Novotný, Bohumil (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
The primary purpose of this study is to analyze converged high-speed networks with the usage of Matlab and Simuling. To set problematic area in the field of high-speed networks and solve this problem by creating a model of measurement and simulation of this model. A laboratory exercise is afterwards created on the specific problem.
Design of EMC optical converter
Štěpánek, Adam ; Hruboš, Zdeněk (referee) ; Krutílek, David (advisor)
Master's thesis is focused on designing optical converter for EMC measurement transfering signal through noisy enviroment. First part contains analysis of electromagnetic interference and its coupling and measurement, especially types of probes for interference maesurement. Next part passing through designing of optoelectric and electrooptic converter with digital intensity modulation. Last part is about realization of optical converter.
