Evaluation design of civil airports effectivity indices
Novotný, Roman ; Janík, Radomír (referee) ; Veselý, Petr (advisor)
Introductory part of this thesis concludes the development of air traffic, division of airports in the Czech Republic according to the Ministry of Transport, according to the Law on Civil Aviation and according to the Coding of the airports (Requirement L 14). The aim was to realize theoretical definition and division of output and economic indicators. After that comes choice of appropriate airports from the European Union. The choice has been made on the basis of the number of check-in passengers at the airport in Prague-Ruzyně. Eight most suitable airports have been chosen from all twenty-seven member countries of the EU. The following step is comparative analysis of these chosen airports on the basis of specified output and economic indicators for the years 2005-2009. The year 2010 has not been included, because the chosen airports did not complete their annual reports, balances and statements of profit and loss. From these sources the values for calculation of individual indicators have been chosen. These indicators have been shown in charts, evaluated by means of graphs in Excel Programme and further they have been characterized in words. The aim of the thesis was also the evaluation and comparison of output and economic indicators of effectiveness and after evaluation, proposal of methods of evaluations has followed.
Výkony osobní a nákladní železniční dopravy v ČR a Evropě
Tsvirko, Oleksandr
The bachelor's thesis focuses on an analytical overview and modeling of the performance of passenger and freight railway transportation in the Czech Republic and selected European countries, with an emphasis on their economic aspects. The methodology includes the use of statistical and econometric procedures and methods. During the analysis using OLS models, hypotheses about the dependence of performance of railway transportation and economic indicators are verified. Through SARIMA models, the performances of passenger railway transportation are modeled. The results include recommendations for strategic decision-making and the optimization of railway transportation.
Analysis of national and international road transport in the Czech Republic
PROCHÁZKA, Michal
First part of this bachelor thesis covers a general concept of freight transport and describes gradual introduction of road freight transport. Attention in road freight transport is paid to the general characteristics of road freight transport and concepts of the road freight transport. Transport Policy of the European Union is subsequently presented and also related to the legislation of the Czech Republic's road freight transport. The last part describes trends which are currently being developed and shows examples of their use. Next part is already related to the practical part. This is an analysis of the national and the international freight transport in the Czech Republic until 2019. There is a comparison of national and international transports and analysis of them. The last two chapters deal with the coronavirus pandemic. This is a brief intoduction and a description of the measures that have been used to prevent the spread of the virus. These measures certainly had an impact on both national and international road freight transport. The results are evaluated by using graphs. The last chapter contains reflections on the whole situation and the ilustration of future developments of road freight transport. Part of this chapter is also semi-structurated interview with a representative of the transport company and a representative of the forwarding company who are directly affected by this situation.
Design mechanism for raising the roof of a trailer
Štefek, Ondřej ; Zeizinger, Lukáš (referee) ; Foltýnová, Dana (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the design of a mechanism for lifting the roof of a flatbed trailer. Commercially available mechanical and hydraulic lifts are described in the introduction. In the next chapters, the design of mechanical and hydraulic lifts is discussed. For selected structural elements of mechanical lifting, a safety analysis is then performed with respect to the limit state of elasticity and ergonomic control. For hydraulic lifting, the safety of the cylinder rod for buckling is checked. The proposals are then financially calculated and compared with commercially available lifts. Drawing documentation is prepared for mechanical lifting.
Freight transport in Czechia: analysis of the structure of performance and transport policy strategies
Štěpánek, Zdeněk ; Marada, Miroslav (advisor) ; Randák, Jakub (referee)
The first aim of this bachelor thesis is to determine and assess the meaningfulness of the current strategic documents of the Ministry of Transport, which address the change in current state of the domestic freight transport. The second aim is to identify those commodities which are transported by road and that could be in the future transported by an alternative way. At best, it should be ways which are less environmentally demanding and makes less load on the road. My own personal analysis of the current state of domestic and international transport in Czechia is used as a means to achieve these aims. Some of the strategic documents of Ministry of Transport contain beneficial development plans but on the contrary some of them are useless for the current situation. In Czechia there are freights for which it could be found more adequate ways of transport. In the international transport it can especially be recommended the use of combined transport as it is quite heterogeneous. KEY WORDS freight transport, railway transport, road transport, environment, development, Czechia
Dopady krize eurozóny a migrační krize na sektor nákladní dopravy
Hutař, Stanislav
The aim of thesis is to identify the impacts of the Eurozone crisis and the migra-tion crisis on the freight transport. All types of freight transport are presented at work, however road freight transport appears as the most important. The fun-damental problem of the migration crisis is the resumption of border controls at the internal borders of the European Union. The economic cost of introducing permanent border controls is being investigated. The thesis analyses European Union export, which serves to uncover the problems caused by the crisis on the trade routes of the European union.
Minimalizace negativních externalit způsobených provozem nákladních vozidel
Smékalová, Marie
Diploma thesis deals with the problematics of external costs produced by commercial vehicles and the impact on human society and environment. The focus is on environmental costs, such as emissions of greenhouse gases and other pollutants, noise, infrastructure costs, congestion and accident costs. The thesis introduces EU strategy and legislation considering sustainability of transport and analyses the practise in internalization of negative externalities by taxation and road charging of commercial vehicles in Member States. The thesis also quantifies the size of external costs produced by commercial vehicles in the Czech Republic by calculating their total amount.

Rest of the thesis contains construction of trailer, creation of finite element model, and presentation of achieved results. This diploma thesis contains drawing documentation.
Concept of a low loader trailer for the construction machinery
Benda, Petr ; Molva, Martin (referee) ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with a concept and strength analysis of a low loader trailer for construction machinery. The thesis was created in cooperation with company ZDT Nové Veselí. The first part presents an overview of ways how to transport construction machinery and fundamental legal requirements for these devices. The main part of the thesis contains description of the trailer and its simplified model intended for the strength analysis. The last section presents an evaluation of results that had been achieved and at the very end the thesis contains partial drawing documentation.
