Stabilization systems of motorcycles
Honek, Bohumil ; Tobiáš, Martin (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
In terms of this bachelor’s thesis, the author created a comprehensive overview and description of mechanical and electronic stabilizing systems of one-track vehicles. This thesis furthermore deals with the impact of a vehicle’s structure on its stability and riding dynamics and also includes a brief historical development of the individual components. This thesis then offers an outlook into the close future of vehicles’ and similar machinery’s stability, followed by the author’s critical evaluation.
Chassis Dynamometer System for Motorcycle
Hanuš, Michal ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Janoušek, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on realization of the dynamometer project for motorcycles. The project is connected with measuring of power, measuring of torque and optimization of two-stroke engine. The introduction aims to choose best option based on the research and requirements.
Conceptual design of the conversion of an electric motorcycle
Roman, David ; Zeizinger, Lukáš (referee) ; Böhm, Michael (advisor)
The work is about the study of the current offer of electric motorcycles, individual structural elements, and the concept of using an electric motor and battery. Furthermore, the work compares the operating costs of conventional internal combustion engines and electric motors. The main part of the work is the calculation of the battery capacity for the motorcycle, which is converted from a conventional internal combustion engine to an electric motor and the selection of a suitable engine and battery storage concept, so that the dynamics of the motorcycle is not significantly affected.
Modification of the front fork of the motorcycle
Smolka, Josef ; Porteš, Petr (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to investigate the force loading of the front telescopic fork girder of the motorcycle and its impact on the structure of the girders. The force effect in fork storage is solved by a mathematical model in Adams View based on calculated and experimentally determined parameters. Managed to gather a series of data and parameters of the Triumph Daytona 955i. The created model achieves high accuracy in terms of motorcycle kinematics. The benefit of this work is to get an overview of the forces acting in the suspension of the front wheel of the motorcycle.
Superbike engines
Létal, Filip ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Beran, Martin (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is analysis of superbike engines and technology which are used in serial production. In first part is basic division of current motorcycles engines by quantity of cylinder and their structure. There are also listed typical representatives of each engine category. In second part is analysis of engines parts. Each engine part has its own chapter, where is an analysis of this part done. Analysis is about function, construction and development of the engine parts. There is also comparison of selected motorcycles and their engines. In conclusion is evaluation of current technology.
Center of Gravity Measurements of Motorcycles
Vaněček, Michal ; Bradáč, Albert (referee) ; Panáček, Vladimír (advisor)
My diploma thesis deals with measuring the center of gravity (CG) the motorcycle. The first part is outlined with legislation and the types of motorcycle division. I mention the theoretical types of measuring the CG the motocycle there too. These methods are applied to the issue of motor vehicles. The chosen one way of measuring the center of gravity which is used for practical measurements of gravity the motocycle. The practical part included the weighing of the different types of motorcycles with a different occupancy. These values are then processed and the resulting CG are calculated for each motorcycle. The values of CG were compared by experiment with the program for the analysis of road accidents and reconnoitred the measured results with this program results. In the last chapter is the evaluation of individual CG motorcycle and the influence of changes in occupancy due to a motorcycle.
Electric drive for motorcycles
Černošek, Martin ; Kloss, Ondřej (referee) ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on rebuilding of the combustion engine powered motorcycle to the electromotor powered motorcycle. In the thesis is chosen the suitable electromotor, next is designed the accumulator system, then is created the construction design of location electric system in the motorcycle frame and at the end is made the strength analysis of the mechanical parts. For the construction design is created 3D model in SolidWorks. The diploma thesis is also focused on comparison the motorcycle powered by combustion engine and the motorcycle powered by electromotor in the Supermoto race.
Device for motorcycle engine power measurement
Rampáček, Bernard ; Drápal, Lubomír (referee) ; Maršálek, Ondřej (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the problematic of measuring motorcycle performance output using dynamometers primary designed for measuring performance output of four wheel personal vehicles, proposals and comparison of possible designs of device that enable this method of motorcycle performance output measuring by using FEA methods.
Motorcycle Springing and Damping System
Filka, Tomáš ; Vančura, Jan (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis consists of theoretical overview about motorcycle chassis and suspension systems as well as information about springs and dampers. It is also focused on practical usage of multibody simulation for motorcycle suspension testing which leads to the development of series of virtual riding tests built within MSC Adams View software environment. Then the results are further discussed together with suggestions for future improvement of this model.
Possibilities of a Motorcycle Rider Spotting a Pedestrian at Night
Spurný, Jan ; Tylšar, Vladimír (referee) ; Bradáč, Albert (advisor)
This master‘s thesis deals with possibility of a spotting differently dressed pedestrian by motorcycle rider at night based on realized experiment with different types of motorycycles and its coparison with already measured values from personal motor vehicles
