Filtering EEG signals
Pohludka, Aleš ; Ronzhina, Marina (referee) ; Potočňák, Tomáš (advisor)
This work describes basics of electroencephalography, measuring methods of electroencephalographic signals, their processing and especially their filtration. The most basic normalised international system for measuring EEG from the scalp is described. The end of theoretical part is dedicated to the most frequent artifacts. The practical part deals with testing two methods based on adaptive filtration of reference EOG signals using the LMS algorithm. Further in the paper are presented tests of before mentioned methods and their verification in practice on gathered signals from volunteers. At the conclusion there is an evaluation of the methods used.

Basic Inorganic Production E-learning Study Materials Processing
Valenčík, Jan ; Pilátová, Ivana (referee) ; Richtera, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with e-learning (its definition, forms, usage, positive and negative aspects), LMS and LCMS systems, and the basic elements needed for the formation of the interactive teaching aids that could help improve the e-learning quality. The output is a teaching software including visual animations used for learning the basic inorganic produces in the chemical industry (acids, metals, gases productions, etc.) designed especially for the students of the 1st class at the Faculty of Chemistry by Brno University of Technology, and for the general public as well. The visualisations have been created by means of the PC programme Adobe Flash, which offers a wide variety of interesting options to make up numerous animations that are not only illustrative but also visually attractive. The application comprises 20 production animations of basic inorganic compounds which are mostly exploited in the chemical industry, in school labs and during inorganic chemistry lessons. The emphasis is placed on a vivid presentation of the acid production process, and on the interactivity and visual aspect.
ECG quality estimation
Vršková, Markéta ; Smíšek, Radovan (referee) ; Smital, Lukáš (advisor)
This master thesis solves the problem of estimating the quality of ECG signals. The main objective of the work is to implement a self-assessment of the quality assessment method based on the studied methods for estimating the quality of the ECG signal. The theoretical part of the thesis contains mainly the description of the electrical activity of the heart, cardiac anatomy, and physiology, electrocardiography, various types of ECG signal interference and methods describing the estimation of ECG signal quality. The practical part deals with the application of individual methods for estimating the quality of ECG signals. The SNR (signal-to-noise ratio) calculation is used to continuously estimate the quality of the ECG. Signal quality can also be judged based on statistical functions, adaptive filtering, or by analyzing independent components. The proposed method is based on the calculation of the correlation coefficient between the adaptive template and the disturbed signal. The robustness of the method was verified on artificially created ECG signals with different noise levels and then on real signals from the MIT-BIH database.
Artefacts Removal from Brain EEG Signals Using Adaptive Algorithms
Hatala, Juraj ; Jawed, Soyiba (referee) ; Shakil, Sadia (advisor)
E-learning implementation into company education regarding the 70:20:10 educational model
Doležel, Radim ; Čapek Adamec, Martin (advisor) ; Kočí, Jana (referee)
This thesis sees the use of e-learning as an important tool for distant learning and adult education. The theoretical part focuses on the introduction of e-learning, its advantages, and disadvantages, detailly describes the stakeholders and created standards for e-learning, too. Thesis also describes the pedagogical aspects during development of e-learning. An integral part of this thesis is the description of the 70:20:10 education model and adult learning. The key part of the research is the quantitative data collection. The research questions are validated by a questionnaire according to which several recommendations and possible improvements emerged. As a part of the research of this thesis, a community on the Fuse platform has been created. Individual departments from Hilti ČR spol. s r.o. can upload their training materials to this platform. Changes of high school education due to online technologies
KAFKA, David
This bachelor thesis speaks about learning theories, namely neobehavioral,~constructive, cognitive and connective theory, together with various e-learning tools. The work contains a multiple case study, which is based on semi-structured detailed interviews about e-learning tools. The aim of the work was to map the changes in educational processes in high education under the influence of e-learning tools. The work also contains data about home preparation of students and the pros and cons of using e-learning tools.
Metody a možnosti neskalárního a adaptivního testování ve výukových systémech
Dlabolová, Dita
The thesis deals with a design of adaptive testing in educational systems, the aim of the designed adaptive test is to simulate an oral examination by a teacher. Tes-ted knowledge are represented in two new structures - study map and proposition map that also drive the test. The goal of the test is to create a connected graph depicting knowledge of the examinee that represents its non-scalar result. Methodology for creation the maps, design of a complex software solution and proposal for incorporation of the adaptive testing to existing LMS were created. The economic benefits of the solution are discussed in case of its utilisation at FBE MENDELU. The adaptive testing can be used on different levels of education, e.g. corporate education as is shown on a practical application. The main contribution of the thesis is complexity of the solution - the thesis deals all aspects of adaptive testing starting with creation of educational materials up final feedback after the test.
