The mourning ceremony Hall Lisen
Kaliariková, Beáta ; Hrabec, Josef (referee) ; Šindlar, Jiljí (advisor) ; Pěnčík, Jan (advisor)
The theme of the project was to design a new mourning hall. The building is extending the cemetery that already exists and is situated on neighbouring plot. The new building is supposed to extend the possibilities and capacities of the cemetery. The plot is delimited by the street Šimáčkova. It is surrounded by groungs and the edge of forest from the other sides. There are no buidlings on the plot. It is green and includes green vegetation. The new building is supposed to offer space where mourning ceremonies and related functions like organisation and preparation of funeral could take place. Apart from the building the project contains also planned extension of cemetery area. The capacity of graves will be increased and extended by columbaria which will be situated around shelter for meditation. The new parking area will be created for visitors of ceremonies and cemetery. The building is situated in a back part of plot. Besides the access pavements also service roads will be created for employees and funeral car. Individual parts will be separated by leaf green so that they will not interrupt each other. My intention in the solution of form was to accentuate the space of the mourning hall. This part of building is higher than other side parts which are meant to be used as service parts. The solution is emphasized by lengthened monolith walls. The building has only one floor and the roof is flat. It is positioned at one level. The ground plan is irregular and created from rectangular shapes.

Apartments in the multifunctional building are not required. The site is under the level of the acces street and is currently used as a playground. External areas are partially added to the apartments and partially create common space. The intention is to design modern, above standard housing
Multifunctional building in Brno - Líšeň
Gracová, Michaela ; Šubrt, Jan (referee) ; Dulenčín, Juraj (advisor) ; Bantová, Sylva (advisor)
The main aim of this Bachelor's thesis was to create multifunctional building in Brno - Líšeň. The plot is located in the cadastre unit Líšeň on sloping land which is accessible from the northern road with heavy traffic - Novolíšeňská. The nearby area is mostly filled with residential buildings, panel residential buildings from the '80s of the 20th century and family houses, though in a smaller extent. Condition of design was to choose an appropriate combination of housing and services. The goal of design was to create an attractive building for the current market and not to disrupt existing buildings. Therefore, a simple shape of the object was chosen using modern materials and components. The building is characterized by a combination of two main materials that are concrete and wood. Another important factor for the design was the southern slope that makes a possibility to use views on the city and the sunlight for living quarters. This five-storey building is divided into residential part, part of the services and technical facilities. Open commercial space with facilities are situated in the first floor. From second to fourth above-ground floors consist of a housing units. The technical facilities and other spaces belonging to the residential part are located in the basement of the building. The individual functional units are defined by volume and material. Commercial space opens to the public through a glass facade. The residential part is coated in sleek cement-gray color accompanied by wooden windows. Technical basement is hidden behind a dark gray facade as supporting structure of the first floor. The central element of the building are concrete stairs. Its dominant part is atypical wooden railing. The whole staircase is visible from the north side through a glass facade of the entrance hall of the building.
City information model based on a 3D data
Dolník, Michal ; Černý, Martin (referee) ; Volařík, Tomáš (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with creation of data-oriented 3D city model. The aim is to show potential of 3D data in the field of 3D city models and to develop a methodology of conversion of 3D-data with no information to data oriented 3D city model. For this purpose has been chosen format CityGML, which is well-known in the field of 3D city models. This format allows us to store semantical, topological and visual information besides geometry. In terms of concept, thesis is divided into two parts. First part is focused on theory, where are mentioned 3D supported formats. Further I deal with categories of city models according to its usage in praxis and theory about structure of CityGML and its advantages. In second part, I deal with the process of data conversion and its processing. I used geometric data of city parts Líšeň and Nový Lískovec and energy data of some blocks of flats. In the end of thesis, I summarize all the results, possible usage and development of the model.
