Analysis of infrared acquisition parameters
Zembol, Filip ; Drastich, Aleš (referee) ; Čech, Petr (advisor)
The topic of my thesis is the analysis of parameters of the infrared imaging and the usage of these parameters for the design of a thermographic equation and a programme in the MATLAB environment in which the termography formula and the influence of the particular quantities, which take part in it, will be graphically depicted. In the thesis we will first of all introduce the infrared radiation, its types and features. With the help of the particular radiation laws and distracting elements of the infrared radiaton a formula trimming the distracting elements of the thermal relief will be designed. This formula will enable us to count the emission surface temperature of the scanned scene (grey body) and thus eliminate the elements influencing the resulting temperatures of the scanned scene. Furthermore, a programme which will image the IR acquisition model (thermogram) on the basis of the thermography equation will be designed. The thermogram will change in dependence on the changes of the thermography equation quantities. The change will be expressed by the shift of the color spectrum (thermographic scale). This programme graphically presents the changes of the quantities influencing the resulting scene and provides a better grasp of the influence and the function of particular quantities in the thermographic equation.

Assessing the impact of the closing of paint and lacquer surfaces on the durability of concrete products
Zubkova, Ekaterina ; Eger, Lukáš (referee) ; Hubáček, Adam (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on studying the influence of different types of surface treatments on vibropressed product. The main goal is to characterize surface treatments consisting of application of surface coatings that are hardened by infrared or ultraviolet radiation. Theoretical part gives specifications already known methods for surface finishing. Briefly describes selected types of prefabricated concrete parts and specificate the requirements for these products. It also describes used test methods. The experimental part was aimed at establishing the effectiveness of changing properties concrete products by adding coatings on their surface. This was achieved by testing the properties of concrete paving blocks with modified surfaces and testing of reference blocks that did not have any surface treatment followed by mutual comparison of the results.

his Diploma thesis deals with non-contact measurement of surface temperatures. Describes the basic physical principles by which individual instruments are designed, their technical parameters and compares the different types. It deals with the applications of this technology in various fields of human activity and especially its use in engineering.
Extraction of Face Covered by a Mask
Križka, Dominik ; Tinka, Jan (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on numerous techniques of extraction of a face covered by a mask, with assistance of the terahertz and infrared radiation. In order to resolve the issue, a database with photos of twelve people was created with various levels of face cover. The face extraction is then attempted with three techniques. First method uses ORB and SIFT descriptors on the face recognition. Descriptors were unable to successfully extract the masked face. The second technique is utilizes a facial landmark predictor. During the recognition of an unmasked face, the predictor is able to correctly represent regions of the face. With increased levels of coverage on face, it gets progressively more difficult to find facial landmarks correctly and inaccuracies occur. The last approach encodes the faces to numeric format and compares them between each other. The success rate of the extraction depends primarily on the quality of the model, which was trained on the neural network principle. The main contribution of the bachelor thesis, lies in the carried out experiments. In some cases of experiments, the identity of faces covered by scarf or balaclava were successfully revealed with usage of the infrared radiation and face encoding technique.
Non-contact temperature measurement
Negrová, Stefania ; Merenus, Ondřej (referee) ; Hermanský, Dominik (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with non-contact temperature measurement, which is currently used for thermodiagnostics and prediction of temperature behavior of machines. In the thesis is described a basic overview of contact and non-contact methods of temperature determination. It focuses primarily on thermography and its uses for machine tools and includes two simple and clear measurements use of thermocamera.
Study efficiency of modern thermal insulation for buildings
Šot, Petr ; auditor, Karel Trojan, Brno, energetický (referee) ; Šťastník, Stanislav (advisor)
The bachelor´s thesis deals with the problem of thermoreflect insulation. The small part of thesis focuses on the energy demand of buildings and its problems. Then the greater extent is analysed problems by heat transfer of material. It includes effects arising from the individual methods of heat transfer and defines the level of expression of individual methods of heat transfer in materials. The thesis presents an overview of experimental methods for determining thermal insulating properties of insulators. Then there is shown a selection of the most widespread insulation materials used in today´s construction. It includes the division of insulators in terms of used materials and subsequent classification of the most used materials in these groups. Another part of thesis deals with the thermoreflect isolation. There are mentioned the necessary concepts for the study of thermoreflect thermal insulation, which include the emissivity surface, the coefficient of mutual radiation and translucency of the material. Then there is described the method heat transfer of thermoreflect isolation. On the next there are presented experimental methods of determining thermal insulating properties thermoreflect thermal-insulating material. The thesis also includes a practical part, which contains the measurement results on a small range of samples taken termoreflection insulators. In the end there is mentioned a brief realization of thermoreflection thermal insulation materials in buildings.

Analysis of infrared acquisition parameters
Zembol, Filip ; Drastich, Aleš (referee) ; Čech, Petr (advisor)
The topic of my thesis is the analysis of parameters of the infrared imaging and the use of radiation laws for the formation of a thermographic equation, which will include the impact of surrounding factors on the resulting temperature relief of the scanned object. These factors include the temperature of the surrounding atmosphere, temperature of the surrounding radiation sources, emissivity coefficients, reflection and transmission. On the basis of this equation a programme will be created in the MATLAB environment where the resulting temperature relief of the simulated object and the impact of the particular parameters from the equation will be graphically depicted. In the thesis we will first of all introduce the infrared radiation, its types and features. With the help of the particular radiation laws and distracting elements of the infrared radiation a formula including the distracting elements appearing during scanning of the thermal surface relief will be formed. This formula will enable us to count the surface temperature of the scanned scene and to determine the final temperature without the impact of the unwanted parameters. Furthermore, a programme which will image thermograms on the basis of the thermography equation will be designed. The thermogram will change in dependance on the changes of the parameters in the thermography equation. The change will be expressed by the change of temperatures in the scanned scene and by the shift in the colour spectrum (thermographic scale). This programme will graphically present the changes of the quantities influencing the resulting temperature division in the scene and will provide a better grasp of the influence and the function of particular quantities in the thermographic equation.
