Vybrané aspekty stárnutí populace v Itálii

The thesis focuses on the quantification of selected demographic aspects that affect the aging of the population in Italy. Compares the northern and central industrial region of Italy with agricultural and southern parts of the island, whose output is a validation of assumptions about the impact of different intensity of demographic aspects according to the geographical division of Italy. The theoretical part is focused on the analysis of the theoretical background of Czech and foreign literature, which constitutes the basis for the implementation of the practical part in the form of demographic research. He is devoted to analysis of the structure of population by age and sex, mortality, fertility and birth, marriage and divorce rates. The practical part is based on theoretical and uses secondary data in a time series of ten consecutive years. The data are drawn from the Italian National Institute of Statistics (Istat) from the Eurostat database, which is operated by the European Union (EU). As part of the fulfillment of the objectives of the work will be used in the method of comparison, extrapolation of time series regression and time series analysis. Part of the results of the prediction of mortality indicators, birth and fertility, marriage and divorce rates and aging index in the five year period to 2018.
Ageing of populations in Czech Republic and surrounding countries

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to show ageing of population in the last 23 years in Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Austria and to outline the future development in 2020, 2030, 2040, 2050 and 2060 using a large scale of economic and demographic indicators. Ageing of population is a global phenomenon which has been here for many years and it is supposed to continue in the future. This process will have big impacts on pension and health systems of each country.
Transport accessibility of peripherals areas in the region Vysočina

The main concept of this bachelor thesis is the definition of peripheral municipalities or coherent spatially homogeneous areas in Vysočina region based on comprehensive socio-economic indicators, which describe in detail the various processes occurring in each geographical area. For the author, it was important to use fundamental theoretical basis and detailed work of various social geographers in the this issue to determine the peripherals. In other parts of thesis the author continues by detailed analysis of the socio-economic categories and discovers spatial differences of the analysed region. After the peripheral areas determination, he will present a comprehensive and versatile character analysis of quality of transport service in such municipalities, which is the second aim of this work. Wide variety of activities are bound with the transport accessibility in the geographical area, so it is extremely important to explore its effectiveness, as well as some differences in its quality. Final maps of peripheral areas in Vysočina region and of quality of transport service in these marginalized municipalities are included in this thesis.
Population ageing in the Czech Republic and surrounding countries

The bachelor thesis shows ageing of population over the last twenty years in the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland and the Slovak Republic using large number of demographic indicators describing the dynamics and intensity of population ageing. It aims to outline possible future developments and impacts on individuals and the society. The process of ageing has been going on for several years almost all over the world mainly due to declining natality and mortality rates and is expected to continue in the coming decades. During the reported period, there has been a large increase in the proportion of persons over fifty years and as the population ages, number of people in the oldest age groups has also rapidly increased. In the coming years, it is more likely that Old-Age Dependency Ratio will continue to increase and it will refer to a situation where the number of recipients of money from health and pension systems will be funded by a relatively small group of people in the productive age.
Demographic Changes in the Czech Republic as a Social and Economic Problem

The bachelor thesis deals with the demographic changes in the Czech Republic and identifies social and economic problems, which these changes bring. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the demographic development of our country from 1950 to 2010; gives the forecast for the future - until 2065, outlines possible social and economic problems associated with demographic changes and possible solutions of these problems. The practical part, includes the survey, explores the willingness of present generation of young childless people to have children in the future, in which conditions, and whether significant change in the social benefits associated with parenthood would have had an effect on this decision.
