Measuring of Vehicle Instant Velocity
Štencel, Jakub ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
The theoretical part of this paper summarizes the methods for motion analysis in an image. Inspected in detail are the methods used for motion detection in the image sequences. The practical part is focused on finding the significant points in the image (the targeting reticles on the body of the vehicle) which are then used to calculate the speed of the vehicle.
Mobil Application Support for Nine Men's Morris Playing
Kolínek, Daniel ; Zbořil, František (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
The aim of this work is to create an application for mobile device solving the task of determination the best move in game Nine men's morris from a camera snapshot taken on smart device. The task is divided into the problem of position detection and determination of the best move. Position recognition is solved by using edge detection, finding circles using Hough transform and subsequent color detection in found circles. Finding the best move is solved by own position evaluation and state space search using the Alpha-Beta algorithm. Using the OpenCV library and the Android Studio development environment, a sample application executable under Android version 5 and higher was created. The sample application solves both tasks.
Detection, Localization, and Decoding QR Code in Image
Kałuża, Marian ; Juránková, Markéta (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This thesis describes the QR Code detector based on detecting edge lines using Hough Transform and point-to-line parametrization. Generally, the presented method can be also used for detecting different types of matrix codes. This approach searches in the accumulated Hough space for evidence of the matrix code as one compound object. It detects parallel lines by finding a concurrent lines' image groups in the transformed space. It contrasts with the common approach which is first detect the lines and calculate the vanishing point afterwards, which omit much of the useful information stored in the Hough space which can be useful for the detection of vanishing points. The purpose of this thesis is a research of methods which can detect the QR Code in spite of rotation, perspective distortion or uneven illumination. The experimental evaluation shows that the presented algorithm is stable and accurate and is tolerant to high degrees of perspective deformation.
Detection of Little Changes
Čírtek, Jiří ; Horák, Karel (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
This diploma thesis inspects problems with specification location of edges with higher accuracy then one pixel (subpixel accuracy). In terms of this assignment has been created program, which generates three different shapes of objects. With change of parameters in program is measuring location of gravitational center on objects with subpixel accuracy. Obtained data of gravitational center deviations are depictured in graphs.
Line Detection with Different Size
Váňa, Lukáš ; Hradiš, Michal (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
This Bachelor Theses deals with question of the location of the set thicknesses of lines in the picture. It summarizes theoretical basis and procedures for the elaboration of the incoming signal and the Theory of the edge detection. It mentioned current known methods for lines detection in the picture. By the assist of these methods, extended of another known procedures, this theses suggested algorithm, able to detect line of the set thickness in the picture. It describes also suggestion of the realization of the application, which demonstrates utility of the created algorithm. The application is the programming part of this Theses.
Detection of eyes in facial images by means of Hough transform
Janovič, Tomáš ; Čmiel, Vratislav (referee) ; Walek, Petr (advisor)
The thesis discusses the detection of eyes in facial images by means of Hough transform. It is dedicated in the necessary preprocessing of the image, especially in edge detection. Further it discusses the Hough transform itself and describes the method for detection of simple shapes such as lines and circles. Subsequently, the thesis illustrates the implementation of Hough transform for detecting circles along with an algorithm evaluating Hough space. The last part contains the results and an assessment of detection algorithm along with a discussion of utilization the Hough transform for detection of eyes in facial images.
Web Interface for Image Processing
Beran, Milan ; Mlích, Jozef (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
This paper concerns design and implementation of a system which provides easier control of digital image processing console applications. The work is based on threes information technology domains: distributed systems, image processing and web technologies. The system consist of number of separated components communicating with each other in order of processing desired tasks. Control interface and the task daemon are implemented in PHP language. Image processing programs are implemented in C language using OpenCV graphic library. Control of the system is carried out through web graphical interface using dynamic control components implemented in Javascript language, jQuery library and jQueryUI interface. Part of the work is also a description of employment of the system in practical use in two environments, experiments concerning system performance and web interface user acceptance testing.
Curve Detection in Images
Labaj, Tomáš ; Řezníček, Ivo (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
This thesis deals with curve detection in images. First, current methods used in this area of image processing are summarized and described. Main topic of this thesis is a comparison of methods of parametric curve detection, such as Hough transformation and RANSAC-based methods. These methods are compared according to several criteria which are the most important for precise edge detection.
Topology Recognition from Crossroad Plan
Huták, Petr ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Kreslíková, Jitka (advisor)
This master‘s thesis describes research, design and development of system for topology recognition from crossroad plan. It explains the methods used for image processing, image segmentation, object recognition. It describes approaches in processing of maps represented by raster images and target software, in which the final product of practical part of project will be integrated. Thesis is focused mainly on comparison of different approaches in feature extraction from raster maps and determination their semantic meaning. Practical part of project is implemented in C# language with OpenCV library.
Detection of optic disc from fundus camera sequences
Juráček, Radek ; Harabiš, Vratislav (referee) ; Hracho, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with optical disc detection in retinal images taken by an experimental video ophthalmoscope. At the beginning, it briefly describes the anatomy of the eyesight and retina, retinal disease and selected diagnostic methods of retinal imaging. There are described methods of detecting objects in the image, which are subsequently used in the practical part dealing with optical disc detection using Hough transformation and matched filtration. Proposed procedures were tested on a 100-image set. Hough Transformation Detection was successful in 64% of cases, matched filtration was successful in 44% of cases.
