Abstract BUŠTÍK, Tomáš. Comparison of attitudes towards ethnic minorities in Hodonín and surrounding municipalities. This Bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of national minorities. Specifically, it deals with the comparison of views on the most important minorities of Czech republic among the citizens of Hodonín and surrounding municipalities. The theoretical part introduces the basic concepts related to a given topic, historical development of migration in Czech republic and introduces most important minorities in Czech republic. The practical part is focused on presentation of results, obtained from the survey. Keywords: minorities, migration, migration crisis, racism, Hodonín.

The family house

The theme of bachelor’s thesis is an elaboration of design documentation of the family house. Building site for the planning building is located near the center of the town Hodonín.The building is designed for four-membered family. The object is projected as a detached house with two-storeys and no cellar. Walls are designed as a single layerd brickwork of ceramic blocks mansoried on thin-layerd mansory mortar. Construction of the ceiling above the 1st floor is made of ceramic-concrete MIAKO system with a layer of concrete over it. Stairs connecting both 1st and 2nd floor is designed from reinforced concrete. The roof is designed by two mirror-facing ramp roofs of 5% gradient with a PVC foil covering, thermal insulation is designed as over-rafter. The load-bearing structure is made up of lamellated timber rafters. The paved areas, forming an entry walkway and a parking space for the standing of 2 cars, are designed from concrete paving. Part of the surface will be covered with a steel construction with a CONNEX safety glass cover. Project documentation was developed in ArchiCAD programme.

Sculptor Franta Úprka and his sepulchral works

This dissertation deals with sepulchral artworks of Franta Úprka (1868-1929), the Czech sculptor. At first his life is described. Franta Úprka was born in Kněždub, south-eastern Moravia. Beginning of his artistic activity belonged to the end of 19th century, when he worked as an assistant of two famous Czech sculptors - A. P. Wagner and Bohuslav Schnirch. His own career took place in the first two decades of the 20th century. Name Úprka is best known for Joža Uprka, Moravian painter and Franta's elder brother. Although Franta Úprka lived and worked in Prague from 1890th, the midpoint of his artistic interests and main theme of his sculptures was depicting people, traditions and subjects from his home country, Moravian Slovakia. Moravian Slovakia was specific part of Moravian countryside full of long lasting and still surviving folklore, folk traditions, peculiar vivacious characters and intact nature. As Auguste Rodin said during his visit of Moravian Slovakia in 1902 it was kind a Greek Helada overflowing with bright colours, sunshine and cheerful relaxed atmosphere. On the other side, common people lived there their uneasy rural lives with all ordinary worries and pleasures. Both sights of the issue were solved by Úprka's artworks. Intersection design modification of roads I/55 and II/432, Hodonín

The aim of this Master's thesis is design of possible modifications of crossroad I/55 and II/432, primarily with focus on capacity and safety. The first part of this thesis is dealing with measurement and evaluation of current traffic intensities, and capacity calculations of suggested design modifications. The second part of the thesis consists of detailed project of one design modification (diamond interchange) for documentation for construction permit.

Roundabout in Hodonín

The main aim of this bachelor thesis is adjustment of design of intersection of streets Velkomoravská and bří Čapků in Hodonín. The current state does not fulfill traffic-safety parameters. The problem is technical state of bus stops, connection of bike lanes, turning left from the street bří Čapků and lenght of crossings.

Active employment policy focused on retraining in Hodonín district

This bachelor thesis focuses on imbalance in the labour market in the Hodonin district which has been the region with relatively high unemployment for a long time. Attention is paid to the effectiveness of active employment policy with a focus on retraining. First in the centre of attention is development on the labour market, the unemployment and its causes and consequences. Further it presents the active employment policy, its goals, instruments and funding. The practical part mainly deals with the tools of active employment policy - the retraining and its cost effectiveness in the fight against unemployment. This bachelor work analyses Hodonin district from the point of view how successful the active employment policy instruments are above all the retraining. The situation analysis and comparative method are used for evaluation of the goal of this work. The purpose of this work is to sum up if this type of education is suitable to fund with aspect of the costs, structure of applicants for retraining and further successfuls placement of the retrainers to labour market.
