Family businesses and succession issues
Skorčíková, Martina ; Zadražilová, Dana (advisor) ; Zadražil, Václav (referee)
The intention of this thesis is to create a procedure for a successful family business handover. The thesis is split into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part summarises, based on research, all theoretical knowledge related to managing and handing over a family business and a closer look at entire process. The practical part includes a case study and an analysis of a specific family business and the exact steps and procedures that will be needed to implement.
Analysis of wireless network traffic
Guznar, Martin ; Kubánková, Anna (referee) ; Novotný, Bohumil (advisor)
This work solves the VoIP call switching system android with standard Long Term Evolution (LTE) on the IEEE 802.11 standard without losing the connection. In the theoretical part they are described in detail the various standards, protocols, their description and their interconnection. The proposed test will be in the system android with ongoing VoIP call. The outcome should be a capital loss graph Wi-Fi signal and follow your phone’s connection to LTE through a local provider, and all this without losing the connection and interruption of that ongoing VoIP call. The results of this study make it possible to determine how and under what circumstances will switch network from Wi-Fi to LTE and how it happened. Furthermore also obtain data that take place between a precise description of the procedure soft handoff.

Nguyen, Filip ; Krkoš, Radko (referee) ; Novotný, Vít (advisor)
The aim of this paper is to introduce the LTE system, especially with the EPC system. Protocol analysis equipment of the system and the description of the signal at the fundamental procedures such as logging into the system, change the viewing area, handover, paging, etc. and were designed idikátory of system performance EPC.
Analysis of control traffic in mobile networks
Šubrt, Jan ; Krkoš, Radko (referee) ; Novotný, Vít (advisor)
The Bachelor´s thesis describe management procedures in mobile systems. This thesis is mainly focused on mobile systems GSM and LTE. Further are describe basic processes what are required before starting service. This basic procedures contains: inspection of radio signals, select the cell with the best parameters for connection, allocate channel to mobile station, authentication of subscriber and location update. Next part of thesis describe procedures in handover, initialize call session and data session. Last chapter describes laboratory task for subject Communication resources in mobile networks.

New Mobility Trends in Data Networks
Evaluation of influence of UMTS radio access network parameters on network performance using Opnet Modeler simulation environment
Konečný, Zbyněk ; Škorpil, Vladislav (referee) ; Novotný, Vít (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with testing the effect of various parameters and their subsequent influence on the operation of the entire UMTS access network. Each simulation will be implemented in Opnet Modeler, which is used for network testing based on packet switching. The aim of this work is the most effective operation of UMTS networks. Since the UMTS network uses a shared radio environment for all users close to one transmitter, the total capacity of one cell is dependent on the size of interference produced by mobile terminals in the cell. Increasing the capacity of cells can be done by properly elected handover. The first part of this work will therefore concern different types of handovers and their impact on the network operation. Nowadays communication through mobile packet networks is becoming more and more important and that is why the second part of this work will focus on the simulation of traffic UMTS networks. It will be simulated by the behavior of individual applications without the use of QoS. Then the application will be assigned to different quality classes and the quality of service will be compared with simulations without using QoS. The conclusion of this work will contain laboratory work, which should partly make the students familiar with the data traffic in the UMTS network through a simulation program – Opnet Modeler.
Simulation of data networks in OMNeT++
Závodný, Ondřej ; Novotný, Vít (referee) ; Skořepa, Michal (advisor)
The content of this work is to research possibilities of simulation data networks in a simulating environment OMNeT++ with INET framework and at observance of standards 802.3 (ethernet) and 802.11 (Wi-Fi).\ In a given environment will be simulated handover in a Wi-Fi network and on the second layer of the reference model ISO/OSI. In this example will be processed visualization of the conditions and sending informations between network elements.\ In the next practical example will be simulated the operation on the application layer (video current, ftp communication) at using a relevant transport protocols (UDP,TCP). For routing between network elements will be utilized configuration files. By transport protocol UDP will be displayed a delay graph between final elements and jitter, by TCP protocol will be represented so-called three-way-handshake.
Increasing the efficiency of the handover in real network environment
Michalec, Richard ; Sobotka, Jiří (referee) ; Vajsar, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this work is to study methods of handover used in WiMAX and WLAN networks, next suggest the posibility of simulation methods for WLAN handover in the simulation environment OPNET Modeler. This work is focused primarily on obtaining the information about neighboring AP and subsequent selection of a new AP using such information. The work describes in detail each processes solutions that are used to implement newscanning methods
